Onze derde verblijf in het Feversham Arms Hotel. We hebben een zwembad suite toegewezen die uitstekend was. Het hotel is blijkbaar te koop, de administrateurs zijn binnengebracht. Hopelijk zullen de nieuwe eigenaren worden gevonden en na een paar schema's hier en daar zal het hotel vijf sterren zijn.
The room was satisfactory— not too big, but certainly larger than those found in chain hotels. The location was lovely; however, the standard room we received had a view of the parking lot. Due to the wooden floors, we were able to hear other guests walking around quite easily. The sauna and steam facilities were enjoyable, but it would have been great to have a bit more menthol or some options to help eliminate the smell of sweat. Thank you for your attention to these details.
We verbleven een nacht in het hoofdgebouw van York. We boekten een stedelijke kamer (rm 111). Bij aankomst in York zijn we vroeg en konden we onze bagage veilig achterlaten in het hotel tot we om 15.00 uur incheckten. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Na een wandeling naar York, de meest armoedige enz., keerden we terug naar het hotel en boekten we. De kamer was klein maar precies goed voor een verblijf van één nacht. Godzijdank voor de ventilator, want het was erg warm en benauwd. We gingen uit eten in York, maar ontbeten de volgende dag. Het was zowel gekookt als continentaal. Ook erg leuk!
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf. Het hotel was smaakvol ingericht en hoewel ze een bruiloft hadden, was het rustig.
We got a really good rate through the Trip website. Kelsey on reception changed our room because there was no bath in the first room. The staff at the hotel were very smartly dressed. The food at breakfast was excellent. We are two nights in Macleod. Again the food was excellent. We would recommend this hotel. The only negative was if you hadn’t booked a spa break you had to pay £30 each to use the pool.
I paid a JUNIOR SUITE comfortable clean , but my boyfriend and myself paid for a DOUBLE bed by JUNIOR SUITE . we got 2 Single bed . I requested to give me same room that we paid for : my request been refused
A gorgeous grand dame of a hotel - maybe a little tired, but gorgeous building, large room, super clean, very friendly and great location. We will definitely book here again.
Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.
This was a treat from me to myself. I had a fabulous time at Middlethorpe Hall. From the spa to the dinner to the breakfast and treatment the next morning. It was a dream. The garden is also very pleasant to walk around and every single staff member I crossed paths with made sure I felt welcome. I highly recommend!

Big Hotel,plenty of Parking.Spa/Pool is off site.
Our Room was quite small,and we did have issues with the heating not working too well.
Room was clean,Bathroom good with all amenities.
TV was big,but had intermittent glitches with the picture,but nothing too bad.
Breakfast was good,buffet style,so no problems there.
The Spa/Pool/Gym is off site up at the top of the Car Park,which can be a chilly walk.
All in all,good Hotel with decent Rooms,Breakfast,and Pool.

Doe of je thuis bent in één van de 13 kamers met een magnetron. Badkamers beschikken over een douche, gratis toiletartikelen en haardrogers. De kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt, en een strijkplank/strijkijzer kun je aanvragen.

NNilpThe hotel stay was really peaceful and quiet, very clean and spacious big room and space. The food was delicious and the waiters were so helpful and friendly. The staff helped us and gave a free chocolate box for my friend's birthday party.
GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is quite convenient, about a ten-minute walk to the Reeperbahn. However, the hotel itself is old and a bit eerie. The room layout was messy, and the bed quality was so bad that my back hurt after just one night. There are definitely management issues here. I had pre-paid for my room through Trip.com, but the hotel double-charged my credit card. Even after I pointed it out, the charge still went through. I had to contact them through Trip.com and then email the hotel directly to get the duplicate charge refunded.
Trip.com showed an 11 AM checkout time, and from 11 AM onwards, a loud bell kept ringing in my room, about once a minute. When I asked the front desk about it during checkout, they said it was a daily fire alarm drill. However, when I mentioned this in my email to the hotel requesting a refund, they denied it, claiming their checkout time was 12 PM.
To make matters worse, I forgot my down jacket on the bed when I left. About two minutes later, I remembered and went back to retrieve it, only to find someone already cleaning the room. He asked if I was looking for clothes and pointed to the floor. My white down jacket was thrown on the floor with the bedsheets. I felt terrible at that moment. I had just left, and they were already cleaning, which means they saw me go. Why didn't they immediately notify the front desk to send my jacket there? This definitely doesn't feel like the service you'd expect from a chain hotel. There are clear problems with their service, management, and staff training. I'd advise everyone to avoid this place.

GGuest UserHaving visited previously we were very much looking forward to spending 2 nights at The Feversham Arms. We were disappointed to see how tired the venue looked on the outside the sun was shining and we looked forward to spending the afternoon having lunch by the pool and Soaking up the sun.
The service was below par and the food was average despite being quite heavily priced. There wasn’t enough seats to accommodate the guests who all obviously wanted to do the same thing. The pool area had uplifted flags with weeds growing and the pool is in desperate need of repair. Having visited previously and been treated with kind and courteous staff I was disheartened by the attitude of some of the service staff, especially in the spa area and the alfresco dining area.

From the appearance of the entire hotel, the lobby, the corridor, to the room, everything is impeccable. The breakfast is also great. You can choose from a variety of types such as full English breakfast, which is cooked to order. I really love it. I am willing to come to York again for this hotel.

It was clear that all staff members were dedicated and proud of their work, consistently going out of their way to assist guests. The breakfasts were truly wonderful and delicious! I especially want to commend Steve, the breakfast chef, whose outstanding cooking was matched only by his incredibly cheerful smile.

LLucaThe service is very good, not far from the station beach and supermarket. The breakfast in the hotel is normal, but the extra lunch and afternoon tea are worth the price. The sea view outside the hotel is beautiful. The room I lived in did not have drinking water and a hair dryer. Drinking water can be requested from the counter, but not a hair dryer.
