I am very pleased with my visit to Hailiang Plaza Hotel (Zhongshan Road Metro Station). Good location in the center. Nice, helpful staff. Good daily services and cleaning.
The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the city, with easy access to the metro station, shops, and local attractions. This made it very simple to explore the area and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and ready to help with any request, which created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The daily cleaning service was reliable and thorough, keeping the room fresh and pleasant throughout my stay.
Overall, the combination of excellent location, professional service, and friendly hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable. I would gladly recommend Hailiang Plaza Hotel to other travelers and would be happy to return here again.

In the morning, while I was sleeping, I could hear the sound of a vacuum cleaner working behind the door. Otherwise, it was very nice.

A truly bizarre hotel in an even weirder place. Do come if you enjoy a Chinese fever dream of what Russian culture involves, oodles of kitsch and matryoshkas enlivened the odd static shock from the carpet, stay away if the combination of those things does not appeal. Overall a must-stay for any visitor to Manzhouli

衞生：整體看着乾乾淨淨
環境：周邊離市裡稍有點距離，開車出去20分鐘能找到很多吃飯的地方；因為是路過我喜歡它離高速近；
服務：但是早餐建議換換樣式，連續兩天都是一樣的餐。需要的東西説一遍很快就給送過來了，因為酒店衹給兩瓶水但是太乾又不想下樓多要一份也給了，非常感謝。

Aircon not cold. Toilet bowl flushing system is weak. Front desk took a long time to register international travellers due to inexperience.

GGuest UserBusiness Trip: Fantastic location, within walking distance to the subway station. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing exceeded my expectations. The front desk service was efficient and welcoming, and the executive lounge offered a wide variety of breakfast options. Overall, it's excellent value for money. My top choice for business travel, I'll definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI stayed at the Matryoshka Hotel for one night on the night of the 22nd. I brought my six-year-old child to travel by myself. I tried the Matryoshka Hotel for the first time in Manzhouli.
I will never come again.
First, the hotel design is problematic. The whole lobby is dark and there is no sunlight. It is like a big black pot. The key is that if there is no lighting, you can turn on some lights. If you don’t turn on the lights, the lobby is dark and it is really creepy. The whole style is the nouveau riche style. It is indeed a bit like the Venetian Macao, full of the smell of money! Also, this whole design is really not afraid of someone jumping off the building. Standing on the 15th floor, it is a huge deep well! I was impressed by this Mr. Wang, it’s really awesome!
Second, the lighting in the room is very poor. It turns out that the Matryoshka Hotel is a circular hotel covered with a huge steel structure, but the dense steel mesh really makes people a little intensive phobia, as if they were imprisoned in a prison. Airtight. In addition to a little Matryoshka feature, there is no other experience. The local driver said that this hotel costs 3,000 to 4,000 yuan per night in the summer peak season. I can't understand it. People in China are really stupid and have a lot of money.
Third, the hotel has poor service awareness. The attitude of the front desk is so-so. They didn't explain clearly when they asked where the elevator was. The breakfast is even more so-so. It's not even up to the level of a four-star hotel. There is nothing to eat. There are only small oranges as fruits. There was cantaloupe, but it was gone when I arrived. I almost finished eating cantaloupe, but there was still no cantaloupe. I couldn't help asking the waiter, and the reply was that I could cut it for you now. Haha, it's really possible.
Fourth, the hotel said that it can provide free airport pick-up and drop-off, but I forgot when I left. When I checked out with a big suitcase, the front desk didn't remind me at all. Where is this service?
Fifth, there is nothing near the hotel, and it is difficult to eat. It's inconvenient

GGuest UserWe made a special trip to Manzhouli to experience its Russian charm. Having recently enjoyed a pleasant stay in a log cabin in Russia, we specifically booked this log cabin villa for our parents to experience.
To our surprise, the experience was far from good. Apart from the exterior, it was worlds apart from a genuine Russian log cabin. The facilities were old and rundown; the electric water heater had such low power that my mother ended up taking a cold shower and almost caught a cold, while my father went two consecutive nights without hot water, only able to wipe himself down with lukewarm water.
The house design was also poorly conceived. Although the area was large, it was inefficiently utilized. The ground floor bedroom was tiny, and the bathroom was awkwardly located under the stairs. What's worse, the threshold at the entrance was a significant trip hazard; both my parents stumbled over it, thankfully without falling. My wife wasn't so lucky; she sprained her ankle, and after an X-ray at Manzhouli People's Hospital, thankfully, there was no fracture, but her foot was swollen and painful to walk on, which greatly affected the rest of our trip.
Following our feedback, the hotel staff were reasonably accommodating and reimbursed our medical expenses. However, a good attitude alone isn't enough. We sincerely hope they rectify these issues and eliminate all safety hazards promptly.

Then I really have to complain about the air conditioner in the room. It does not cool at all. It is turned on to 18 degrees room temperature. It’s always 27 degrees! There is also breakfast. Breakfast time is from 7 to 9:30. On the first day, around 8:30, there was nothing to eat. Many lunch boxes were empty. Later, I asked the staff to add some steamed buns. Fried dough sticks and fried chicken tenders! Barely stayed for two nights!

The room was clean and tidy, the service staff were warm and thoughtful, and children were given breakfast and hot spring tickets.
Only when I arrived in Manzhouli did I realize that I had forgotten my child’s tablet in the hotel room. I called the hotel, and the front desk staff member Xiao Liu (employee number 027) enthusiastically helped me find the tablet and mailed it for me. So touching😘😘

GGuest User1. I booked this hotel because it is surrounded by the city grassland and Olympic Park. When I checked in at night, I hoped to be arranged to have a room with a view. I left early the next morning and also visited Baotou. I was told that there was no room, and I was arranged to have a room. The view is shown in the last picture. There is nothing else to say. In the morning, there is a lot of noise outside when I open the balcony door, similar to the noise of the air conditioner. So it may be that I didn't encounter the kind of front desk who actively upgraded the room as mentioned in the comments.
2. Not only was there water in the kettle, but the bottom of the kettle was also very dirty, see Figure 4, which is not even as good as ordinary hotels.
3. The door of the bathroom and shower room faces the bed, without any shelter, see Figure 5, it is very inconvenient for the family to take a bath, change clothes and take things.
4. The biggest complaint is that the alarm clock starts ringing at 5:30, and I was disturbed and didn't rest well at all. Even if it was booked by the previous guest, it should be a basic operation to reset the alarm clock when cleaning the room.
In summary, I booked a five-star (diamond) rating for the environment, service and facilities, but this hotel is quite disappointing.

GGuest UserThis stay was a fantastic surprise! 🚗 The location is absolutely amazing, just a few steps from the main commercial area, and the parking lot entrance was super easy to find, no need to drive around looking for a spot. The room was very clean, and the breakfast had a great variety of options, with hot dishes constantly being refilled. I had a really peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in and their service was warm and welcoming without being intrusive. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town! YYaoxidebaI was on a business trip to Baotou and stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is located in one of the bustling areas of Baotou City. It is surrounded by a complete range of facilities, with food, drink and entertainment available, and convenient transportation.
The facilities in the room can basically meet the needs of guests. There is heating and free underground parking (in the north, this is very important, semi-enclosed, so that the car will not be frozen 😂). I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel (when I arrived in Baotou, I had to eat the local specialties 😄), so I can’t make a comment. The mattress is soft, the pillow is comfortable, the bath water is large, there is floor heating and air conditioning, and the service attitude of the staff is very good👌🏻
The room is not big and the sound insulation is slightly poor.
