Hotels met Spa in Hainan, China

Erg goed! De kamerfaciliteiten zijn nieuw en het bed is vrij groot. De multifunctionele stopcontacten zijn erg handig en de badkamer is voorzien van een aparte natte en droge ruimte. Het ontbijtbuffet en de afternoon tea waren boven verwachting. De medewerkers bij de receptie waren ook erg aardig, behulpzaam en enthousiast, top! De locatie is ook goed; het stadscentrum is overal dichtbij. Naast het hotel is een groot winkelcentrum, handig om te shoppen en te eten. Dit hotel zal het zeker steeds beter doen, want het is echt het geld waard!

Location: - The homestay is strategically located, close to Haikou East train station and Meilan International Airport, a lot of restaurants and mini markets nearby. Cleanliness:- The homestay is clean and tidy, but smelly as people smoke in the hotel room and lobby. Service:- The reception is very patient and friendly. Facilities:- The hotel room we booked is located at 7th floor which has no direct access from lobby lift, the lift only access to 6th floor and required us to take stairs in order to reach our floor, relatively inconvenient. Furthermore, the hotel lobby is very stuffy and strong smoke smell. In overall, the accommodation is value for money, and is a good choice for a night stay, but will consider for a better one.

Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, met een ruime keuze aan zowel Westerse als Chinese gerechten, en de ingrediënten zijn vers. Van check-in tot check-out was het personeel zeer attent en reageerde snel op verzoeken. De kamer was erg schoon, zowel het beddengoed als de badkamer. De kamers en openbare ruimtes waren allemaal netjes, wat een aangenaam gevoel gaf. Er zijn ook veel eetgelegenheden in de buurt van het hotel.

Wonderful hotel! We stayed in the Glacier Castle section of the hotel. Our room was a polar bear theme, which was a sea view room. When the tv comes on there is a welcome greeting saying our names. Enjoyed seeing the sun setting. Map of location of hotel on the island and map of hotel included here.  The breakfast buffet was amazing. A large variety of food for breakfast.  Ate supper at the supper buffet one night. Expensive for us, but had all types of food including the hot pot at our table. So yummy! The restaurant staff very nice! The hotel staff was friendly and probably a little shocked seeing Americans, but they smiled and greeted us. Pulled out the phone to translate when we checked in. We are used to doing that, too.😁 We received a welcome gift our first night, too.  If you are planning to visit the part of Hainan, we highly recommend The Castle Hotel!

Omgeving: Het uitzicht vanuit de kamer is geweldig! Je hebt een prachtig uitzicht op de zee ~ de openbare ruimtes van het hotel zijn erg mooi! Het hotel heeft een lift die direct naar het strand gaat🏖️Dat is echt heel handig~ En er zijn verschillende zwembaden, die vooral geschikt zijn voor kinderen om te spelen! Hygiëne: Het is erg schoon! Service: Nicky was super geduldig en erg attent toen hij mij vertelde hoe laat de zon onderging, etc. Zo attent en aardig!

It's technically walking distance from the railway station. We did walk there to book railway tickets, but had to take a DiDi with the luggage. The room was spacious and AC worked great. It's a basic place to stay.

We stayed in the family theme room and were very impressed! It was spacious, with one king-size bed and a super single bed—almost 130cm wide, which comfortably fit our family of two adults and two children. The location is also very convenient, close to several shopping plazas and restaurants. The hotel provides a free self-service laundry room, but you’ll need to collect a voucher from the front desk first. Overall, it was a great experience. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Special thanks to the front desk staff, 小进, who kindly arranged a late check-out for us and even reminded us about an item we had left behind. Much appreciated!

De ervaring in de Executive Lounge was absoluut een van de hoogtepunten van ons verblijf in het JW Marriott Sanya Dadonghai Resort, en dit was grotendeels te danken aan onze Lounge Supervisor **Judy**! Judy is meer dan alleen een manager, ze belichaamt echt de geest van ”JW Extraordinary Hospitality” die het merk JW Marriott voorstaat. Vanaf het moment dat we de lounge binnenstapten, waren we enorm onder de indruk van haar professionaliteit en oprechte enthousiasme. * **Professioneel en efficiënt, goed beheerd:** Judy leidde de lounge op een ordelijke manier. Of het nu ging om het aanvullen van maaltijden, de netheid van de omgeving of de toestroom van klanten tijdens piekuren, we voelden haar nauwgezette controle en efficiënte organisatievaardigheden. De hele loungesfeer was comfortabel en ordelijk, en de service verliep zeer soepel. * **Warm en zorgzaam:** Wat ons het meest indruk maakte, was Judy's **oprechte zorg**. Ze had altijd een scherp gevoel voor de behoeften van de gasten (zelfs voordat we erom vroegen!). Ze nam het initiatief om te vragen naar onze drankvoorkeuren, of het eten naar onze smaak was, of we andere hulp nodig hadden. Ze merkte dat we kinderen bij ons hadden en nam het initiatief om snacks en sappen aan te bevelen en snel te bezorgen die geschikter waren voor kinderen. Het was erg attent.”] Haar warme glimlach en vriendelijke en natuurlijke houding gaven gasten het gevoel dat ze werden verzorgd door een oude vriend. * **Teamleider, servicebenchmark:** Het loungeteam onder Judy's leiding is ook goed opgeleid en attent, wat ongetwijfeld haar uitstekende leiderschap en strenge eisen aan servicenormen weerspiegelt. Ze geeft het goede voorbeeld en is de absolute kern en het rolmodel van het team. * **Oprechte service, overtreft de verwachtingen:** Judy's service is niet alleen procedureel, maar echt **oprecht**. Ze onthoudt de achternamen en voorkeuren van terugkerende gasten en belichaamt persoonlijke zorg tot in de details, waardoor gasten zich gewaardeerd en gerespecteerd voelen. Deze service, die de verwachtingen overtreft, heeft onze verblijfservaring in de lounge en het hele hotel aanzienlijk verbeterd. **Samenvatting:** Hartelijk dank aan Supervisor Judy en haar loungeteam! Haar professionele management, warme zorg en uitstekende leiderschap zijn **uitstekende vertegenwoordigers** van de servicekwaliteit van de Executive Lounge en zelfs van het JW Marriott Resort Sanya Dadonghai. Dankzij Judy's aanwezigheid is onze vakantie-ervaring perfecter en onvergetelijker. De Executive Lounge en Judy's service zijn absoluut belangrijke redenen voor ons om deze plek opnieuw te kiezen bij ons volgende verblijf! Een echte aanrader!

Wow wow wow! Absolutely AMAZING! I came to the Intercontinental after a few nights in other hotels in Sanya, nothing compares. The location is perfect, close enough to everything you want to see, right on the beach (there is a pathway from the hotel to a public beach- no beach beds but didn't bother me), the scenery is just stunning. The highlight for me was the different pools and comfortable sitting options, all have beach beds with a very relaxed and quiet atmosphere and there is even a heated outdoor pool so for the cooler days you can still swim outside. The hotel also offers a variety of restaurants, great options even for picky eaters and an amazing breakfast. The staff are very attentive and professional and would do everything to make you feel at home. Especially I’d like to mention July小张, who went above and beyond to make my stay great, and helped with every little detail🤗. I highly recommend and would definitely love to come back.

Pros- great location, the hotel is across the street from the beach. Huge lobby with a seating area. Nice staff. Decent breakfast, a few restaurants nearby. Daily housekeeping. Has an open gym , although it was quite dirty and the AC was unplugged. Cons- could fix certain details that will improve the overall quality look of the hotel. Why would you put metal inside the pool water?????? A hotel that can host probably 500 people, they only had 6 lounge chairs for the pool. Why not have beach lounge chairs on the beach for guests like Pullman Hotel and other hotels do. If there are holes in sheets, curtains, towels, anything, please please throw it out, don't be cheap and keep it, it looks horrible. In the bathroom shower stall, they give installed the smallest , tiniest shelf , where u can barely keep ur stuff in, remove that and install a nice long shelf that goes along the shower wall. Also the shower door swings inwards the shower stall, hitting the shower head and limiting it opening range...why? The door should swing out, so u can pull , not push in.
