Ocean View hotels in Yunnan, China

"Het hotel voelt aan als een geconcentreerd Tibetaans cultureel belevingscentrum! De medewerkers waren ontzettend gastvrij en attent. Bij aankomst kregen we direct een khata omgehangen, wat voor een prachtig ceremonieel gevoel zorgde. 's Avonds was er een kampvuuractiviteit; hoewel het niet superdruk was, was het gezellig en comfortabel. Het personeel kon zingen en dansen, en ik heb erg genoten van deze kleine voorstellingen! Het hotel heeft ook een thangka-workshop, maar helaas was de tijd te kort om zelf te schilderen. Dat moet ik zeker inhalen de volgende keer dat ik de kans krijg om Shangri-La te bezoeken! De kamer was schoon en netjes, met prachtig Tibetaans meubilair en decoratie. Zowel het ontbijt als de afternoon tea waren heerlijk! Het hotel ligt op slechts tien minuten lopen van Guishan Park, wat superhandig is! Een fantastische ervaring!"

"The room was so clean and completely renovated. The location was great. The reception helped find the visiting places. When you are booking the hotel via this APP, make sure the information is updated! For the room I booked it was written that the room has a lake view but unfortunately, when I got my room it had a building view! I contacted “customer service”, and they gave me some “coins” in the APP as compensation. I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Dali."

"De kamer bood inderdaad direct uitzicht op zee. Beneden bevonden zich de Erhai-rondvaartboten en het Erhai-park, wat de locatie erg gunstig maakte. De kamer was bovendien erg ruim. We hebben twee avonden lang heerlijk films gekeken via de projector in de woonkamer. Het enige minpunt was dat er nogal wat niveauverschillen in de kamer waren, waardoor je extra voorzichtig moest zijn als je 's nachts opstond."

"Het beddengoed in de kamer is zeer schoon en er is geen enkel ongemak voor de huid als u erop ligt. Het hele huis is semi-intelligent en de sfeer in het hotel is erg prettig. Er zijn ook wegwerphanddoeken en gezichtshanddoeken beschikbaar. Bij aankomst bleek de geboekte kamer nog niet klaar te zijn, dus ik kreeg gratis een upgrade van het kamertype. Het hotel heeft geen bagage-ophaalservice, u zult dus zelf naar het dorp moeten lopen. De steegjes zijn smal en alleen toegankelijk voor elektrische voertuigen of driewielers. Het dorp heeft geplaveide wegen en het is niet makkelijk om koffers te trekken. De zonsopgang wordt geblokkeerd door bomen. Loop terug vanaf de B&B en zie een klein strandje vlak bij het hartbordje, waar u de zonsopgang kunt bewonderen. (Niemand zal met je concurreren om de camerastoel) Reizen is gemakkelijk: er is een gedeelde fiets- en tramparkeerplaats in de buurt van de homestay. Voor maaltijden moet u naar Longkan Wharf, dat overigens niet heel dichtbij ligt. Daarom raden we u aan om de tram te nemen. U kunt ook met hybride technologie reizen. Er zullen onderweg meerdere stops zijn."

"From picking up from the train station, to daily amenities and services, it’s all exceptional. Breakfast spread was so wide it’s unlikely you’ll be able to try them all. Afternoon tea sets with fruits, cookies, tarts and cake was delicious. Attention to details like kid dental sets and in room baby shoe for my son was also so thoughtful. The view is nice, I wished I had booked longer to stay here. Will definitely come back this hotel again next time I come to Dali. The lady 程七七 from the hotel was also very helpful the entire time since before arrival with arrangements till check out. There’s also a small little playground area at lvl 2 of building 2 for small kids to play."

"Friendly and convenient hotel. Able to walk around the Dali Santorini area from the hotel. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Quick response to questions via WeChat group chat with the staff. Breakfast has 2 options - Chinese style with rice noodles or Western style with spaghetti. Both are very delicious. Would recommend staying here."

"This is the only one I have written and seriously evaluated. I originally booked a famous hotel next to it. I went to the store owner and found a variety of cockroaches. I was helpless to find the hotel again. The fate is such a coincidence. I met this newly opened hotel. As soon as I entered the lobby, The whole person felt that all the fatigue was instantly dissipated. The lobby was very bright and very high-end. The manager and butler were very enthusiastic to take us to the sea view room. They patiently helped us move the luggage to the hotel for check-in. Few hotels will make me feel at home. All the waiters in this hotel are young, but they always serve us with a smile. Everyone works hard and seriously to do what they should do. I give full marks for the scenery, hardware and service. Unfortunately, I have to leave. I think I will stay for ten and a half days next time. Very happy 👍 very satisfied, take pictures 📷 super film"

"If I could, I’ll give a score of 100/10! This is such a fantastic experience staying here. What is so impressive is the SERVICE and the actual room facilities. The staff is soooooooo friendly and helpful - he basically helped me plan my itinerary every day because I came with zero plans and only wanted to relax. He helped me to plan my route and book a car for day use. And the driver is amazing too - he brought me to try 扎染 tie dye even when I didn’t know anything about it. He made sure I went to a local experience instead of expensive tourist trap. And he’s great at taking photos too! Back to the staff. He would understand what I’m interested in and then give suggestions that I’ll like. Amazing. And there is even a whole list of things to watch out for when visiting all the tourists attractions. When you arrive, they’ll also message you all the places to eat. There is also a convenience store right downstairs if you want to buy anything. They also gives you instructions if you want food delivery. So detailed!! And they are so proud of the fact that their rooms are exactly what it looked like on the app. So clean so new so amazing. Look at that view! You wake up to the view of the vast sea. And there is a giant bath tub for you to experience soaking in bubble bath (also given) at the same time. The toilets are always the make or break when travelling. And the toilets are amazing again. AUTOMATIC flush and the seat cover automatically opens and close. My goodness. And the shower has different outlets if you want some form of water acupuncture 🤣 very modern. And they even have a towel dryer/heater!!! You can dry anything small and it’ll be dry and crisp. Normally hotel pillows give me headaches. But not here! They have the latex foam pillow and also the normal fluffy pillows. It is so suitable and comfortable for me who is accustomed to memory foam pillows. How can accommodation get so detailed and excellent? Breakfast is another wonderful experience. You go the dining area and an aunty cooks porridge or noodles or meat buns or corn or sweet potatoes and serve them to you. There is even soya bean drink and fritters and lots of sauces and seasonings and small bites. And there is unlimited bottled beverages like honey jasmine tea or oolong tea and fruits and coffee. How do they even make a profit? And there is even a place to rest and relax and drink tea if you come with friends. I can’t wait to come back here with more friends and family and let me experience what I enjoyed so much here. Thank you to the staff and to the boss! 😁😍"
