Romantic hotels in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan

"What an amazing stay! It exceeded all expectations. The place is super nice with design interior, rooms are warm, spacious and comfortable. The whole place is modern, yet has a very traditional authentic feel and feels serene. The staff is very attentive, caring and fulfills your every need - they make you feel welcome, and explain everything to you very well even if you are a foreigner, there was no problem communicating in english. You are guaranteed 2 private stays in the private onsen spa of your chice - one in the evening and one in the morning, the time slots are more than enough to cover guest capacity and you have choice. The public onsen is pretty awesome too, although i felt so relaxed after private onsen for so long i went there just because of curiosity lol. The dinner and breakfast are HUGE and are SUPER tasty. Excellent products and execution, it was my first time tasting a5 wagyu. I recommend you do not eat lunch before coming to the ryokan for dinner, maybe just breakfast or something small because you will want to eat everything in this amazing meal set. I still feel kind of full 1 day after checking out. The hotel has nice common areas with free beverages, board games, ping pong ans some slot machines for entertainment. You can reserve karaoke room or get massaged in the automatic massage chairs. After we chcecked in at 3pm we did not need to go anywhere away from the hotel and just enjoyed our time there. If you want to book very specific timeslots for the private spa come in at that 3pm, because people queue up 30 min before in the lobby. Although i felt this was not really necessarry because like i said, the capacity is calculated well and you are guaranteed 2 entramces with available time slots. The first time slot starts at 4pm and is in 1hr intervals - with 5 available onsens up until the night. Morning onsen had plenty of free slots. They also offer free shuttle bus and it was always quick, we even called from public telephone in Arima when before checkin and had no problems arranging pickup in english. What i wish is if they were a little bit more flexible with breakfast times, because you also reserve a time slot but it's not like it's a course meal but traditional breakfast + buffet and you have to decide at the check in, which is kind of soon to think about when you want to have morning meal, but it's not too big problem. I guess it is a way to prevent everyone rushing in 5 min before closing time like some people do. The breakfast has plenty of variety and you even get a preheated own grill! Overall, we couldn't pick a better place for our visit in Arima, we are so relaxed and it was oje of the best places we have ever been to!"

"Our stay in this hotel was great! I wish we stayed here longer than one evening. Our traditional Japanese room was very spacious and had two separate toilet rooms attached as well as a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing! And sitting area before the huge windows even had a massage chair and a vanity. The shoji doors showed some signs of wear but everything were very clean. Our kaiseki dinner was spectacular and incredibly tasty. But I wish there were some instructions for foreigners how to enjoy it properly. Our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese so there was a minor misunderstanding but everything was resolved 😅 I'm definitely a fan of such kind of a meal now! We visited all the hot springs that are available in this hotel and it's sister hotel across the river. I liked the silver indoor spring in our hotel and gold outdoor spring in sister-hotel the most. Hot springs are closed after 24:00. And open from 6:00 to 9:00 nest morning. Unfortunately they are closed from 9:00 to 12:00(check out time) which make it impossible to enjoy them in the morning for those who prefer to sleep in(( Would definitely reccommend the stay for relaxing and luxurious experience."

"アメニティも選べる物もあり ウェルカムドリンクとおつまみ 朝食も付いており小さなパンの5個セットに飲み物でパンもトーストされており、温かい朝ごはんを食べれました。 一階の部屋で2階の足音や外、廊下の音がうるさかったのと ベットが壊れている？半分がとても沈み込んでいて寝心地が悪く残念でした。 主人が寝た側は大丈夫だったのですが… 夫婦でビジネスの予定で利用させて頂きましたが 音の問題以外はビジネスホテルよりも安価でお風呂やお部屋も広いので夫婦で動く時はビジネスホテルでない方が快適かなと思いました。 スタッフの対応もとても丁寧でした。"

"Ik ging met mijn gezin naar Kobe tijdens het Mid-Autumn Festival en boekte dit hotel. De locatie is goed. Er zijn buurtwinkels en steakrestaurants in de buurt. Don Quijote ligt tegenover en is 24 uur per dag geopend. Het vervoer is ook erg handig, op slechts een paar minuten lopen van het station van Sannomiya. De kamer is schoon en hygiënisch, het bad is groot en diep en het bad is comfortabel! Van 20:00 tot 22:00 uur biedt de koffiebar op de begane grond van het hotel ook gratis 🍦 aan, deze kunt u verkrijgen met uw kamerkaart! Het spijt me dat ik bij het maken van de reservering in het briefje heb vermeld dat ik een hoogbouwkamer wilde en dat de kamer niet aan het einde van de gang mocht liggen. Als gevolg hiervan kreeg ik de binnenste kamer op de 2e verdieping (aan het einde van de gang) ?? Ik weet niet of er een communicatieprobleem was met het Ctrip-personeel of dat het hotel het niet begreep? Gelukkig bleef ik 2 nachten en vertrok zonder te klagen!"

"We are in Kobe for one night only and chose to stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kobe-Sannomiya Premier, which is conveniently located near Sannomiya JR station as well as Daimaru and Moto-machi. We chose a double room which is clean but a bit too small for the two of us."

"For muslim travellers, this hotel is just located near Kobe mosque (5-7 min walk) and Sannomiya stn, halal restaurants, and grocery stores. Room is nice, clean, and right size. Reception front desk staff are very polite and accommodative. You can borrow an umbrella if you need one. Looking fwd to stay here again."

"The hotel is very beautiful, the rooms are large and clean, we enjoyed the bar with a jazz singer, the food was delicious. I love the jacuzzi bubblebath and the amenities is awesome all rooms has verandas you can see the beautiful view of kobe tower & port .The only thing I didn't like was the receptionist at the front desk, not friendly, the treatment was not welcoming, you didn't see a smile when greeting."
