Omgeving: De omgeving is oké.
Overall we had an excellent stay at The Londoner and would gladly come back.
The shuttle transfer from the Hengqin border was a bit confusing at first. The signage was not very clear and seemed to point in the wrong direction, and the employee at the pickup point unfortunately spoke neither Mandarin nor English. After some searching we managed to find the correct shuttle and arrived at the hotel without further problems. Once at the property we were immediately assisted by one of the staff members.
Check-in can take some time since many guests arrive at the same time. If you travel as a group and request rooms on the same floor, the process may take even longer. It almost felt like receptionists had to compete with each other to secure rooms before they were assigned elsewhere. The organization seemed a little unusual, but eventually everything worked out.
We were offered rooms on the same floor, which happened to be a smoking floor. The staff explained that smoke smell should not be noticeable. This turned out to be accurate. The rooms themselves had no smoke smell at all, and only a very faint smell was noticeable in the hallway. For non-smokers it is therefore perfectly manageable to stay on such a floor.
The rooms themselves were excellent. They were spotless, spacious and very well equipped. Amenities included a coffee machine with capsules and creamer, more than enough drinking water, a large comfortable bed and easy-to-use electronic controls. The blackout curtains work perfectly for anyone who prefers complete darkness while sleeping. The bathroom area was also very spacious and featured a large mirror, a very nice shower, a bathtub and a Japanese-style toilet.
One of our rooms was designed for disabled guests and therefore did not include a bathtub, which was perfectly fine. What stood out positively was how well the accessibility features were integrated. The bathroom was beautifully designed and did not feel like a simple retrofit, which is a very thoughtful touch for guests who need these facilities.
The Londoner complex itself is huge and beautifully designed. Staff are present everywhere and are generally friendly and helpful. The complex focuses heavily on shopping and entertainment. Western food and bar options are somewhat limited, but this likely reflects the fact that Macau today caters largely to mainland Chinese visitors. We still easily found options such as the Cheesecake Factory and the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, which served our needs well.
One major advantage of the location is connectivity. From The Londoner you can walk via enclosed skybridges to the Four Seasons, The Venetian and The Parisian, and other casino resorts can be reached either on foot or with a short and inexpensive taxi ride.
If you want to explore the historic Macau Peninsula, reaching the metro system from the casino complex is not entirely straightforward. However taxis are plentiful and affordable, making the trip very easy. There also appear to be public buses available, although we did not try them ourselves. Overall the hotel complex works very well as a base for visiting the other side of Macau.
One small logistical note for travelers heading to Hong Kong Airport: the reception staff could only point us to bus services going to the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macau Bridge terminal. Direct transfers from the hotel to Hong Kong Airport were not really available through the hotel, so we ended up arranging a private car ourselves. In practice the hotel can easily get you to the bridge terminal, but from there you will need to organize the onward journey yourself unless you book a private transfer in advance.
Overall it was an incredible stay and a hotel we would happily choose again. Just keep in mind that Macau is not Las Vegas and caters much more to mainland Chinese visitors, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly.
It’s my 4th times been staying in this hotel! I really like their service. The staff are really nice.Whatever I need they can provide very fast. But I choose the standard room no smoking, but when we entered the room the smell was like someone do the smoking.Anyway,I like the smell of their linen and pillows unlike other hotels the smell is not good.I like their buffet breakfast so yummy and lots of choices. And my favourite one was their jacuzzi and fool area.So relaxing!
Great hotel with very large and comfortable room. The room was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of choice. The location is convenient with bus just downstairs the hotel. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Macau.

Outstanding
EEsitebitongzhiI brought some gifts for my friends in Macau and bought some Japanese snacks and dried food for myself to take home. My friend wanted to treat me to dinner as a thank you for making the trip to Macau, even though it was an unexpected detour for me. He only had time in the evening after work. We usually eat quite late, so I had to stay in Macau for a day. Catching up with friends every two or three months is no problem, especially since I'm retired and have plenty of time. I always stay at this hotel. There aren't any major issues. I'm familiar with their procedures and practices. Plus, it's conveniently located on a main road with many bus stops, making it easy to get to and from the city center. Of course, when booking, you need to check the availability of rooms at competing hotels nearby.
**Environment:** Good. I used their pool, and there were Caucasians, Koreans, and Japanese guests.
KKuailezhilurenCame to Macau and stayed at the Yoho Roosevelt this time. The location is a bit out of the way; **taxis are scarce, and you have to transfer twice. It's not ideal if you have luggage, but since we didn't, it wasn't an issue for us.**
**Environment & Amenities**
✅ Because it's remote, it's very quiet, and the hotel is new.
✅ Offers sea views and stadium views. Waking up to an unobstructed 180-degree view in the morning is incredibly comfortable.
✅ The TV can swivel, making it convenient to watch from the bed or living room. It has TVB and Phoenix TV, which was enjoyable.
⭕️ If you have luggage, transportation isn't very friendly; **taxis are few and you need to transfer.**
**Design & Service**
✅ At 400 MOP, the value for money is really high.
⭕️ The room layout is quite strange... there's a long corridor with a small table, which is fine for working but otherwise unnecessary.
⭕️ The bathroom is even weirder; the bathtub is inside the shower area, first time I've seen that! It's okay for bathing (comes with a disposable tub liner), but showering is really inconvenient.
**Summary:** Suitable for those without luggage, who seek quiet views, and aren't particular about room layout. For 400 MOP in Macau, what more could you ask for? A pure sea-view room would probably be even more comfortable.
JJoliexiaoyuThe hotel is located near Fisherman's Wharf, right opposite Sands Macao. If you're like me and prefer to stay on the Macau Peninsula side, this location is quite convenient. It's about two or three stops from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, and very close to the sea, making for a pleasant stroll after dinner with a nice sea breeze.
The hotel's overall design is European classical, with a touch of vintage palace-like decor. The high ceilings make the rooms feel more grand and spacious. Although you can tell the hotel has been open for some years, and the facilities aren't brand new, they are well-maintained with no obvious signs of age.
The room size was a pleasant surprise this time; it's quite spacious for Macau, with plenty of room between the two beds and ample space to open suitcases. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, and overall cleanliness was good. The window area gets a lot of natural light, making for a comfortable stay.
When the room was cleaned on the second day, the staff even folded the clothes I'd left out and neatly placed them on the bed, a thoughtful detail.
The check-out process was smooth, with a convenient express check-out option. The luggage storage service was also very helpful for tourists who want to explore Macau further before leaving.
Overall, while the hotel's facilities aren't the newest, it excels in spacious rooms, a convenient location, and attentive service, while also offering views of both the Macau Peninsula and the sea. Given that hotels in Macau are generally not inexpensive, I believe the overall value for money here is quite good.
GGuest UserOur stay at The Venetian was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and spotless, and the hotel's luxurious environment was simply stunning. Having a shopping mall right downstairs made dining, entertainment, and everything else incredibly convenient. Cynthia and Miro provided exceptional, thoughtful service and even gave us a little gift. We were extremely satisfied!
AAnonymous UserThe location is absolutely fantastic! It's a spacious suite, a shopping paradise, and you can enjoy an ultimate vacation without even leaving the building. At night, you get to soak in the sparkling city views, and with all the dining and entertainment options, the experience is truly extraordinary!
MMoses.JGreat location! It's a quick 9-minute walk from the Grand Lisboa after taking their free shuttle bus from Gongbei Port. The hotel's decor looks quite aged, definitely seen better days. Our room had a double bed, and the other 'bed' was actually a sofa with a sheet on it. They provided four sets of slippers and toiletries. Breakfast was very mediocre. On the plus side, there are several scheduled mini-bus services on the second day that can take you back to Gongbei Port, which is quite convenient.
LLitaidiWe spontaneously decided to visit Macau during the May Day holiday, and since we were traveling with a child, I looked for a hotel with convenient transportation. We entered through the Hengqin Port, took bus 25B to Grand Lisboa, and then it was just a few hundred meters walk to the hotel. The hotel's decor had a very authentic Macanese style, with a quaint charm. The room was spacious and cozy, and the cleanliness was excellent, with no missed spots and a very clean carpet. The breakfast, in particular, was truly outstanding. It felt like a proper breakfast restaurant, offering very authentic Macanese dim sum with substantial ingredients. Each person could order two steamed dishes and one noodle dish (rice vermicelli or regular noodles). The cream bun was delicious, even better than those from a bakery. The beef brisket ho fun was also very flavorful. The beef tripe and curry squid were fantastic, and the shrimp dumplings were packed with whole, large shrimp. It was truly excellent. Even at check-out, my child said they hadn't had enough of the breakfast yet.
GGuest UserI've always wanted to stay at the Galaxy Macau, but unfortunately, there was a thunderstorm warning on the day we checked in, so we couldn't enjoy the water activities. It was a bit disappointing. However, staying at Galaxy is incredibly convenient; there are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options available. Plus, if you show your Air Macau boarding pass, you can get many discounts and free gifts. It's also super easy to get to the Venetian, Big Ben, and Parisian from here. After a good night's sleep, we could even pop over to Rua do Cunha the next day, which is very close by. What I'll remember most is how incredibly comfortable the beds are at the Galaxy hotel. The room was beautiful and clean, and the service was absolutely fantastic. Truly five-star service! Since we were traveling with kids, they even gave us complimentary 'Toto' slippers, a 'Toto' tent, and a 'Toto' doll for them. My kids were thrilled and said Galaxy was the most fun! ^_^ Haha. I will definitely stay at Galaxy again next time I visit Macau. What I personally loved most was being able to choose my own pillow. This time, I picked the lavender sleep pillow and even received a free pillow mist. All complimentary, truly excellent value for money.
CCHANG WEI HAOThe price was actually quite good. The room was so cold that I didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning. However, the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear everything from the other rooms. If you can't stand that, don't choose this place. The front desk service was excellent, and the location was decent. The bathroom was clean, but it only had a fixed shower head, not a handheld one.
GGuest UserOur whole family stayed at the Grand Lisboa Hotel. The staff were incredibly polite, proactively helping with our luggage and assisting our elderly family members. Although the facilities are a bit dated, everything was very clean. I booked a room with breakfast, and luckily the hotel had just upgraded their breakfast, so all the dishes were new! The hotel also offers complimentary airport/ferry transfers, which is quite convenient.
