Romantic hotels in Hubei, China

Ik verbleef twee jaar geleden in dit hotel tijdens een zakenreis naar Wuhan en vond het altijd geweldig. Deze keer boekte ik het opnieuw, samen met mijn dochter op vakantie. Het hotel ligt vlakbij de bruisende Jianghan Road, op slechts vijf minuten lopen van de voetgangersstraat Jianghan Road. Er zijn verschillende winkelcentra in de buurt, met alles wat je maar kunt wensen op het gebied van eten, drinken en entertainment. De levendige Shuita Food Street bevindt zich beneden, waardoor het ontzettend handig is om eten te vinden. Het hotel was schoon en hygiënisch, de kamers waren ruim en comfortabel, de bedden waren zeer comfortabel en er werd dagelijks voldoende drinkwater verstrekt. Het ontbijtbuffet van het hotel was niet uitgebreid, maar het eten was heerlijk en je kon zelfs de warme, droge noedels van Wuhan proberen. Elk personeelslid dat we tegenkwamen was beleefd en begroette ons hartelijk. Speciale dank aan het huishoudelijk personeel Peng Lichun en Liao Fang voor hun uitstekende servicebewustzijn, en aan klantenservicemanager Xiao Hui voor haar attente en attente service, waardoor onze reis zeer comfortabel werd.

De faciliteiten van het hotel zijn gloednieuw en de omgeving is eersteklas. De kamer is voorzien van gratis espressocapsules, waardoor het een geweldige plek is om 's ochtends te genieten van een kopje geurige koffie. Het zwembad is van uitstekende kwaliteit en heeft een perfecte temperatuur, waar de kinderen enorm van genoten. Er is ook een stoombad, een heerlijke manier om te ontspannen na het zwemmen. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en het personeel is zeer proactief en gastvrij, wat zowel ouderen als kinderen erg tevreden stelt.

Het hotel heeft een strategische ligging, complete omliggende faciliteiten en gemakkelijk openbaar vervoer. Deze keer heb ik een cloudview-suite geboekt. De kamer bevindt zich op de 62e verdieping en heeft een weids uitzicht. Je kunt 's avonds de zonsondergang zien en' s nachts kun je ook de lichtshow in de verte zien. De receptieservice is heel erg goed en kan aan alle kamerbehoeften voldoen. Omdat ik er altijd voor kies om terug te gaan naar het hotel om af te halen als het tijd is om te eten, ben ik de dame die me de afgelopen twee dagen elke keer heeft geholpen met het afhalen van eten erg dankbaar. Ze heeft goede recensies. Ik zal hier blijven de volgende keer dat ik naar Wuhan kom.

We stayed at East Lake Hotel, Tingtao 2#, for three nights in August 2025, it was great, highly recommend ! East Lake Hotel is known for its beautiful scenery, just as expected, the view was absolutely stunning, but what was better than the view was the best customer service. They assigned a staff member, Ms. Yu, to help us. Ms. Yu gave us her WeChat contact information so we can reach out easily. Ms. Yu was professional and courteous, she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, any concern / issue we had, she handled it quickly, including helping out with the laundry! We stayed at other Five Star hotels in Wuhan, Beijing, and Shanghai, but no other hotel provided this level of service. The front desk was also very helpful. Last but not the least, their breakfast buffet was the best among the 6 hotels we stayed for this trip. De kamer is erg groot, met twee 1,8 grote bedden, zeer ruim en comfortabel, en de geluidsisolatie is erg goed! ! The environment is fantastic, and the floor-to-ceiling windows are beautiful. Sitting by the window, enjoying the view and eating is truly delightful. It's also very close to the attractions we visited. The room even has a large bathtub, and a washing machine, microwave, and umbrella are all provided. The host's service is exceptional; they respond to messages very quickly. We initially had trouble with the washing machine, and after messaging them, the cleaning lady came over right away. The host also thoughtfully sent us a Wuhan travel guide, which was incredibly considerate!!!

The room is very nice, modern and well furnished. The breakfast is not as good as one could have expected. You can find similar hotels in China with way better breakfasts. The buffet had a decent size, but the food's quality was not high. I am also very disappointed by the hotel's gym which was only open until 6 pm due to the lack of staff (as reported by the hotel's reception) which is way too early when you perform a business trip and that you go back at the hotel after 8 pm.

This hotel is located so conveniently for tourist. Right next to Chuhehanjie, where shopping is endless and street food is everywhere. Also very near to Wuhan Metro station, Minutes away from major tourist attraction. Hotel is right up to 5 star level when it comes to cleanliness and facilities but the same can't be said about their service. Chinese people are pretty reserved when faced with foreigners, sometimes cold downright. You won't get the enthusiasm of wanting to please you. It gets better if you speak chinese but if you don't then make sure you have a data plan that allows for Google Translate. Talking about data plan, be prepared to get a provider that has high data caps, or even unlimited. Wifi in this hotel is not foreign device friendly. But all in all, a good stay with my family, we enjoyed Wuhan very much.

I started my trip by booking the wrong hotel - same name but in a different city. The hotel graciously agreed to a full refund even though it was well beyond the refund period. I was grateful for that. When I arrived, the hotel was centrally located right across from the walking street full of shopping and good food. The staff at the hotel was polite, warm and well trained. I’d like to make special mention of Mr Peter (子延）from concierge services. Even though he was only a trainee at the hotel, he went above and beyond his duties to help me sort out my issues with my local deliveries.
