"Hotel Li Yu bood ons alles wat we nodig hadden voor ons verblijf in Yangshuo. De kamer was prachtig, met geweldige voorzieningen en een prachtig design. De receptie hielp ons altijd met onze vragen en was erg vriendelijk. De locatie was goed: dichtbij alles, in een straat die wat rustiger is. Het huren van een scooter bij het hotel voor een dag was goedkoop en makkelijk. Echt een goed hotel met geweldige service. De late check-out was ook echt een pluspunt voor ons! Bedankt en ik kom zeker terug als ik ooit nog eens naar Yangshuo ga. Bedankt!"

"Wij verbleven van 8 t/m 11 mei in dit hotel. Goede locatie. We namen een kamer met uitzicht op de rivier, het was erg mooi. Zeer beleefd, attent en vriendelijk hotelpersoneel. Tijdens het inchecken kregen we cadeautjes met snoepjes, het was erg leuk. We hebben ook gefilmd in het hotel in klederdracht. Wij, als buitenlanders, vonden het erg leuk. De kamers zijn schoon, goed beddengoed, comfortabele bedden, de zithoek bij het raam is gewoonweg magisch gezellig, met een prachtig uitzicht en een theetafel. Toen we uitcheckten, kregen we lokale thee. Het was natuurlijk heel erg gezellig. Het hotelgedeelte is erg schoon. En een groot pluspunt is dat een deel van het personeel Engels spreekt. I came here with my friends during the summer holiday, specifically for their restaurant which is on the must-try list. While waiting for a table, we found out they also have guest rooms. Hotel guests get a 10% discount and priority seating, so after seeing the rooms, we decisively booked one. Honestly, both their restaurant and guest rooms are excellent. The summer prices were also very reasonable, and the staff were all very polite and enthusiastic. It was our first time in Yangshuo, and they even recommended some fun attractions. The hotel can also book tickets for various scenic spots, so it felt like we didn't really need to plan our route much as they had everything sorted for us. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I bring my family next time. It's very close to the riverside and West Street, both within walking distance. The main thing is, their restaurant is truly amazing! Don't miss it if you come to Yangshuo!

I highly recommend the Shangri-La Hotel Guilin! This well-established five-star hotel, located right on the Li River, offers an absolutely fantastic experience ✨ The hotel boasts an elegant environment with extensive gardens. The back gate provides direct access to the Li River, making it perfect for leisurely strolls and enjoying the scenery. We stayed in a river-view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the Li River and the karst peaks. Opening the window was like stepping into a Guilin landscape painting, with misty clouds in the morning and absolutely breathtaking views. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service, and check-in was warm and polite. With both indoor and outdoor pools, plus a kids' club, it's absolutely ideal for a vacation with seniors and children. The location is convenient for getting around, with attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill just a short drive away. Choosing this hotel for our trip to Guilin was a very wise decision; it offered a wonderfully relaxed vacation experience. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Guilin!

We had an amazing stay at LS Hotel Guilin. The location is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views are absolutely stunning. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Reina and Li Ly, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. They were always friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Facilities: Very good, the mattress is super comfortable to sleep on, and the bathroom has a wet/dry separation, plus there's a bathtub! It's not a cheap tub either; you can tell they chose good quality. Most of the room facilities are great. Cleanliness: As soon as you enter the room, it feels very fresh, no strange odors, and the aromatherapy scent is lovely, giving a very comfortable feeling. Environment: The hotel is just a few dozen meters from West Street, and crucially, it's next to the pedestrian street, yet there's absolutely no noise from inside the hotel. West Street is in front, and the river is out the back, making evening strolls very pleasant. The guesthouse lobby also has a great design, perfect for photos. It's very quiet at night for sleeping, and you can even watch the sunrise and enjoy the scenery from the terrace. It's basically one of the tallest buildings on West Street. Overall, I'd give this guesthouse a top-tier rating.

Staying here felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting, and the 270-degree panoramic view was absolutely breathtaking! The cantilevered hot spring was perfect for soaking away all my fatigue, the service was attentive, and it was a fantastic spot for photos. There's no need to think about anything here; just spending the whole day relaxing is the ultimate vacation. The hotel also offers a complimentary travel photoshoot, which turned out great, and the photographer was excellent. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Jiyun Shangyuan during our Yangshuo trip was a delightful surprise. The hotel is nestled in Jiwodu Village within the Ten-Mile Gallery, right by the Yulong River. Surrounded by mountains, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of West Street. The entire property is designed as an elegant new Chinese-style courtyard, incorporating charming Zhuang ethnic elements, creating a wonderful ambiance. The rooms are very spacious, featuring huge panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to enjoy views of the misty peaks right from your bed. The bedding and mattresses are of high quality, the bathroom facilities are fully equipped, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The hotel's infinity pool with mountain views and the second-floor observation terrace are perfect photo spots. The sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and you can even enjoy a complimentary Zhuang ethnic costume photo experience.

The hotel's location right by the Li River is quite peaceful, which I prefer over the noisy West Street area since I'm a light sleeper. I really appreciate that the front desk upgraded my room type. It's not far from West Street pedestrian street either, offering a quiet escape while still being convenient, almost like being on a backstreet in the countryside. The hotel also has its own restaurant where I ate both my meals; the food was delicious and good value for money, plus guests get a 10% discount. After dinner, a stroll along the river is lovely and relaxing, with locals also out for walks. You can get some great photos of the river and mountain views from the hotel's rooftop. They also offer self-service laundry and drying, which is super handy given how rainy and humid the weather can be here. All the staff, including housekeeping and restaurant servers, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The floor-to-ceiling window in the room offered an absolutely stunning view. Opening the window revealed the green mountains and the Yulong River, making for incredible photos. I specifically chose this hotel for the window view and the swimming pool, and my child absolutely loved it upon arrival. **Environment:** A thousand square meters of lawn plus an infinity pool. The mountain-and-water themed blue pool was perfect for amazing pictures. **Activities:** Free-roaming deer, daily cormorant fishing performances, lacquer fan making, and petting zoo feeding. **Food & Stay:** With its own restaurant, we spent the whole day at the hotel and didn't bother eating out. The hotel food was also excellent, and they even offered free sweet soup in the evening. It was a welcome escape from the noise of crowded guesthouses. The hotel buildings were well-equipped, and the soft furnishings, with their wooden and Instagrammable style, were top-notch. There was no need to rush. We spent the whole day leisurely, relaxing on the lawn, playing in the pool, and feeding the deer. It felt like many hotels and cafes in Yangshuo have great aesthetics, and the scenery is beautiful, but the street aesthetics are truly dismal. This was my child's first travel photoshoot. Usually, they refuse to be photographed, but the Miao ethnic costumes for the photoshoot at the hotel were beautiful and relatively clean, so we were able to get some great shots right there. Thumbs up! The shoot was quick, which was great since it was hot, allowing us to quickly get our photos and head back to the hotel for coffee.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking and made the experience even more memorable. This hotel offers exceptional service for its price point. Upon arrival, someone immediately assisted us with our luggage, and the lovely front desk staff escorted us to our room. The service was effortlessly attentive whenever we needed anything. I also have to commend the breakfast – the live kitchen cooked fresh dishes on the spot, with no shortcuts taken, and refills were prompt. We visited on a weekday, and they didn't compromise on food quality just because there were fewer guests. The rice noodles were delicious! Every breakfast item showcased local specialties while maintaining great flavor. They even had freshly grilled steaks, and the chefs were all smiles, which really brightened our day. It was very hot in Guilin in July, and my child spent an hour in the 5th-floor pool. They thoughtfully activated the wave machine for us! Even though the pool is small, it was perfectly adequate for kids to have fun, and they provided inner tubes and kickboards. The room itself was even better – we had a direct view of the Twin Pagodas. It rained that evening in Guilin, and the Twin Pagodas in the rain were absolutely stunning. I must praise the sofa on the balcony; it was incredibly comfortable! You could practically sleep on it – not those stiff, uncomfortable types of sofas, which shows real attention to detail. The room offered views of the Twin Pagodas, the lake, and the surrounding mountains in the distance; the scenery was breathtaking! This will definitely be our first choice next time we visit Guilin!
