The resort environment was very comfortable, and the kids absolutely loved participating in all the activities, having a great time. The atmosphere at night was quite lively too. Vera provided excellent service, and overall, I was very satisfied – a full five-star recommendation! What I loved most was that all the activities were included. Whether for adults or kids, indoors or outdoors, there were rackets provided by the hotel for basketball, table tennis, billiards, football, archery, and golf. The water park was quite large; the depth was perfect for children to swim, though a bit shallow for adults. Plus, all the craft activities, performances, flying trapeze, and aerobics were really fun! Dinner was the most abundant meal, with various international cuisines. The sashimi, BBQ, and salads were all delicious. The dessert bar was the most amazing part – truly five-star standard! My daughter even said the roasted lamb chops were incredibly tasty. 😋 We stayed in the Shaun the Sheep room, which was decorated so cutely. My child said she wants to come back again next time! The most comfortable aspect, actually, was the beautiful environment of the Songshan scenic area. It's a natural oxygen bar, bringing you close to nature; you can see and smell the natural aroma. There were also about a dozen adorable little cats! 😍 We plan to try out Club Meds in other cities and countries next time!

The service truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a big thumbs up and thank you! 👍🏻 My child left an Apple Pencil in the hotel room, but we didn't realize it was missing until long after we got home. I called the hotel to inquire, but the room had already been cleaned and new guests had checked in, and the pencil wasn't found. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond, communicating with various departments, re-entering the room, and meticulously searching. They finally found it tucked between the nightstand and the bed! They called me immediately to confirm and shipped it back to me. My child was thrilled to get it back! I'm so grateful for the hotel staff's diligent and thoughtful service, which saved us from a financial loss. While the hotel isn't brand new, the interior decor is clearly well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. It's clean, well-equipped, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. We requested buckwheat pillows and mineral water, and they were promptly delivered to our room after we left a voicemail. Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience!

About ten years ago, I stayed here for one night and had a fantastic experience, leaving me with a great impression. After so many years, I returned with high expectations, only to be met with significant disappointment. The entire hotel, along with its service team, showed an undeniable sense of fatigue. It's understandable that facilities age over time, but the basic room amenities were poorly maintained. The hairdryer and showerhead were both out of order, and the attention to detail in maintenance was completely lacking. The complimentary breakfast also felt neglected; with limited variety and mediocre quality, it was a stark contrast to what it used to be. The frequency of the park's shuttle bus had also slowed down considerably. Chatting with the driver, I learned that customer numbers had dropped significantly since the pandemic. Walking into the ancient town area, I could also feel the quietness. Many shops along the street were closed, a far cry from its former bustling atmosphere. What was once a meticulously maintained and thoughtfully designed water town, brimming with antique charm, now had cluttered and unsightly杂物 piled everywhere, and its refined ambiance had vanished. The contrast between then and now is striking. If you're coming specifically for its former glory, you'll likely be quite disappointed.

This place has everything you could want nearby: food, drinks, entertainment, and shopping. It's really close to the subway station, and bus access is pretty convenient too. It looks like a regular hotel, but it's actually more like a hostel. The staff are enthusiastic and friendly, and there are a lot of international guests. I stayed here for a few days, and they even have washing machines and dryers available. Definitely my top choice for my next trip to Beijing!

The Beijing New Otani Hotel is an established five-star hotel in Beijing, boasting a prime location near a subway station and a wide array of dining options, including Wangfujing. The hotel itself offers a buffet and a Chinese restaurant. Overall, the hotel is well-maintained. In our room, the shower had excellent water pressure and drained quickly. The bedding was soft, and most importantly, the service was exceptionally friendly. We were in a hurry to check out and accidentally left our charger and important cards in the room. Manager Wang Zhaofeng immediately helped us search for them, responding promptly and quickly sending us photos of the found items, which instantly put our minds at ease. She then arranged for expedited shipping to mail them back to us. This kind of heartfelt service, anticipating and addressing guests' urgent needs, is truly commendable. We visited the hotel's breakfast restaurant once, and the variety was extensive, with excellent taste, quality, and freshness. The restaurant service was also timely and enthusiastic, leaving us very satisfied, especially the excellent service from Runze and Xiao Cai Gege. The superior service from these staff members truly enhanced our stay.

The rooms are clean and tidy, and come with a balcony. When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

On the morning of our check-in, the hotel called to inform us that due to the typhoon, they were being used as a temporary shelter, so our booking was moved to a Deluxe Family Room at Gubei Zhiguang. The room at Gubei Zhiguang was a bit smaller and the facilities felt a bit dated, but the breakfast was good, which somewhat made up for it. What I found unacceptable was the 25 CNY charge for the hotel parking. Of course, this isn't the hotel's fault, but rather an issue with the overall scenic area management. By the way, a shoutout to the Chinese restaurant opposite Gubei Zhiguang – it was excellent.

Our stay at Yanqi Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience, far exceeding our expectations. The hotel boasts a beautiful and tranquil environment, nestled by mountains and a lake with fresh air. Both the natural scenery and the overall design made us feel incredibly relaxed. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, meticulously maintained. We were extremely satisfied with both the quality of sleep and the overall experience during our stay. For anyone looking for a short escape from daily life and a high-quality vacation, this is definitely an ideal destination for a staycation. We especially want to thank Bingao for his thoughtful arrangements. From pre-arrival to during our stay, he provided us with very detailed and attentive assistance. As we were traveling with our baby, we inevitably encountered various small issues and last-minute requests, but Bingao always patiently helped us coordinate and resolve them, making the entire check-in process smooth and enjoyable. What touched us most was that, thanks to Bingao's arrangements, the hotel also made special preparations for our baby's birthday. This warm and heartfelt surprise created very fond memories for our family trip. We could truly feel the hotel team's care and attention to their guests, which made this birthday extra special. We sincerely thank Bingao and the hotel team for their professional service and genuine dedication. Our entire family had an unforgettable and wonderful time, and we will definitely recommend Yanqi Hotel to our friends and look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you once again!

Huge thanks to Junhefu for the warm welcome! The courtyard is beautifully serene and elegant, truly capturing the charm of old Beijing's hutongs. It's super convenient for visiting Nanluoguxiang and Houhai. The staff's service attitude was genuinely excellent. We booked two rooms, and one of them had a musty smell due to dampness. The staff patiently helped us check out of that room. Although it was a minor inconvenience, their service deserves high praise. I hope the hotel can improve the damp-proofing issues in their old buildings.

Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.
