Bij deze familiereis is gekozen voor een boshut. Het is erg handig voor het gezin om samen te wonen. Het park heeft weelderige vegetatie en groen, dus muggen zijn onvermijdelijk, dus zorg van tevoren voor muggenspray. Het hotel ligt heel dicht bij de Shuiguan Great Wall. Er zijn weinig mensen en de klimervaring is geweldig. Het is erg handig om terug te gaan naar het hotel om uit te rusten na het klimmen. Het ontbijtbuffet is goed, met veel keuzes. De huishoudster Luna was erg enthousiast. Ze belde vooraf om onze wensen door te geven. Ze ontving ons meteen bij aankomst in het hotel en stuurde ons naar de kamer. Onderweg gaf ze een uitgebreide toelichting op de faciliteiten en projecten van het hotel. De service was zeer nauwkeurig en enthousiast, wat getuigde van veel professionaliteit. Het hotel serveert een uitgebreid ontbijt en, verrassend genoeg, serveren ze ook lamskoteletten en steaks. De speeltuin is erg groot en de kinderen vermaken zich er prima. De privé-warmwaterbron ligt op de berg en het is een luxueuze ervaring om van het landschap te genieten terwijl u ontspant in de warmwaterbron. Kortom, het hotel is een echte aanrader en ik kijk ernaar uit om de volgende keer weer te komen.

GGuest UserThis might not be the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in, but it's definitely where I've slept the most comfortably. The hotel is very close to the bustling Nanluoguxiang and Yonghe Temple. The room was extremely clean and quiet, with a nostalgic style that made me feel grounded and peaceful. Being in the hutong, you really get a feel for the capital's alleyway life, and everyone was so nice! The service was absolutely top-notch; I forgot something when I checked out, and the front desk contacted me and mailed it back for free! I love it so much ❤️!

FFreya0226I've been to Gubei four or five times, and this is my second stay at Gubei Zhiguang Hotel. This trip and stay were both very satisfying. As soon as I booked the hotel, Connie, the assistant lobby manager, contacted me to inform me about the parking location and the specific procedures for entering the scenic area and checking in. When we checked in, they even gave a doll to my child. The hotel package included a double dinner. I thought it would be ordinary food, but it was surprisingly amazing! We ate there for two days, and the dishes were different each time. The hotel breakfast was also very rich. The bed in our room was very soft and comfortable to sleep in. Any issues I had, Connie quickly resolved them for me. Plus, hotel guests get an 18% discount on meals within the scenic area. I do have two suggestions: First, it might be a special period for the hotel, but during the air conditioning adjustment period, our room had no cooling. It was quite hot these past two days. However, Connie brought a fan, which solved the problem well. Second, breakfast is from 7-10 am. I personally think it's a bit early. On vacation, people tend to sleep in, so setting an alarm just for breakfast is a bit much. I hope it can be extended until 11 am. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will choose this place again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a hutong, very close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station – less than a 4-minute walk away. It's also near popular attractions like the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. After visiting Jingshan Park, I encountered traffic restrictions, making taxis and buses inconvenient. I ended up cycling back to the hotel on a shared bike, which only took fifteen minutes. Cycling through the surrounding hutongs offers a unique charm. Although the hotel isn't new, it's clean, and the bedding is spotless. Crucially, facing the hutong means it's incredibly quiet, which is perfect for someone sensitive to noise like me. Plus, the hotel rooms have windows that can be opened for ventilation, which is a major plus. Many hotels in Beijing have sealed windows and rely on heating, making the air feel stuffy and stagnant. There are also many local eateries around the hotel, making it very convenient. All in all, it offers fantastic value for money.

MM56405****Absolutely fantastic! The two kids played in the room until midnight without any need for adult supervision. The moms just chatted and drank the whole time – it was so relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is super close to the ancient town, only a five-minute walk. There are supermarkets downstairs and restaurants right outside the door, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is really nice and was quick to resolve any issues we had. Remember to bring some sausages when you go; there are lots of little cats downstairs waiting for you to feed them!

GGuest UserOne of the best things about this hotel is the location. The subway station is just a few steps from the lobby. Since it’s on Line 2, we could easily reach most major sightseeing spots in Beijing without any hassle. The hotel staff is well trained, very polite, and most importantly, helpful, especially the front desk staff, 嘉鑫, who helped us solve many problems with professionalism and efficiency. Big shout-out to her! The luggage storage service is also very convenient. We used it after check-out so we could still explore around Beijing before heading to the airport. The process was smooth and hassle-free. However, there is one area that could be improved to make the hotel even better: dining. Every day when we went to the dining hall for lunch around 11 a.m., we were told to wait in line for at least an hour. Because of this, we ended up relying on ******* delivery for most of our lunches. The delivery locker system was very helpful, since the restaurant clearly has limited capacity and cannot accommodate all hotel guests during peak time. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with great facilities and service. Totally worth the price.

When checking in, you need to register your vehicle to park in the underground parking lot 🅿️, otherwise, you might be charged a parking fee. We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. Complimentary fruit was provided in the room.

This time, I booked a room with a view of the Great Wall, and it was beautiful and relaxing at night when the Simatai Great Wall and the scenic area lights came on. The hygiene was very well maintained. The service was also excellent; during our stay, manager Liu was always quick to respond to any questions we had, whether about the hotel or exploring the scenic area. This was incredibly helpful for us as first-time visitors to Gubei Water Town, saving us a lot of time.

LLeaHH.My partner and I spontaneously decided to have a staycation in Huairou, and we had an incredibly rejuvenating three-day trip on Yanqi Island! The hotel upgraded our room, which was over 60 square meters and elegantly designed. The TV screen was a bit small, but luckily, there was a great selection of movies. Since we stayed on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, there were very few people around. We often had the pool, gym, and sauna all to ourselves. The 25-meter long, 1.2-1.5-meter deep pool was kept at a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius, and there was also a hot tub. The showers had multiple jets spraying at once, which was a nice touch. The gym equipment was comprehensive. The environment is truly beautiful. We saw flocks of wild ducks, enjoyed leisurely walks among the flowers, and had picnics (as shown in the pictures). Bicycles and electric scooters were also available for rent by scanning a QR code. The breakfast buffet was good; the only minor disappointment was the lack of fresh juices, but otherwise, the variety of Chinese and Western options was excellent. They had made-to-order eggs and noodles. The food tasted great, and we could easily eat our fill. The lunch buffet, priced at 258 RMB, featured local Huairou specialties like iron pot fish stew, as well as a wide range of desserts and ice cream. The hotel pretty much met all our requests during our stay, and when a minor issue arose with the room facilities, a staff member quickly came to fix it. We also visited the nearby Hongluo Temple and Qinglong Gorge – highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at the Bay Hillside during the May Day holiday with our child. The overall environment was serene and the air was fresh, making it perfect for a short family getaway. What I want to praise most is the incredibly thoughtful hotel service! During our stay, my child accidentally bumped their mouth. The lobby manager immediately came over to check on us and even specially sent a cute little plush toy and ice cream to comfort the child, which was very heartwarming. The butler service was also incredibly thorough. They thoughtfully pre-ordered a light breakfast suitable for young children, which was perfect for our little one's taste. They also proactively helped us arrange a late check-out, so we didn't have to rush with a child, which was incredibly convenient and considerate. The hotel's family-friendly facilities are comprehensive. The playground is large, with a soft play area suitable for younger children and various classes for kids over five. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the staff are all enthusiastic and attentive. The attention to detail was exceptional. Our family holiday experience was perfect, and we will definitely stay here again!
