Hotels met Pools in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam

Staff was friendly and speak good English. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast selection good for a quick meal before hitting on the road. The view from the room was overlooking Sapa Center. We had issue with the shower as the water was going down slowly, informed receptionist twice on the matters but it was not resolved till the third time. The in-house massage was average as my masseur was talking n using her phone.

Dit keer met vrienden. Het was mijn eerste keer dat ik SAPA bezocht. Bedankt aan de prachtige receptioniste van het hotel voor het in detail introduceren van de SAPA-route. Mijn vriendin en ik vonden dat ze erg aardig was en we konden in ons favoriete kamertype verblijven. Het was jammer dat de geweldige ervaring op de laatste dag eindigde. Na het uitchecken moesten we van het hotel naar de bus terug naar Hanoi. Het hotel legde vooraf uit dat de taxiprijs 40.000 VND bedroeg. Het hotel hielp ons een taxi te bellen om te vertrekken. Toen we bij het busstation aankwamen, bracht de chauffeur ons 100.000 VND in rekening. Vietnamese dong, ik word er verdrietig van😫. Ik hoop dat het hotelpersoneel de volgende keer buitenlandse toeristen kan helpen, met de lokale taxichauffeur over het bedrag kan communiceren en dit nogmaals kan bevestigen voordat ze in de auto stappen. Anders maakt deze ervaring me bang, maar de algemene faciliteiten van het hotel en het eten. De bestelling en personeelsservice hebben mij en mijn vrienden bereid gemaakt om opnieuw te bezoeken als we in december op vakantie zijn ??

We spent the first two days of our trip staying in town at Sa Pa, and for the next two nights we moved slightly out of town to Hotel DeLaMont. The hotel is located about a 10-minute drive from the town center, perched high on a hill overlooking the valley. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was precisely for that spectacular valley view, which is said to be among the best in Sa Pa. Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather fully lived up to Sa Pa’s nickname as the “City in the Fog.” Thick fog rolled in every day, and visibility was sometimes close to zero—especially on the darker roads without streetlights while our Grab drivers navigated the winding hills. Thankfully, on the morning of our final day, the clouds finally lifted a little and we were blessed with a partial glimpse of the breathtaking valley view we had been hoping for. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was essentially two super single beds pushed together, which meant you could feel the gap in the middle while sleeping. It’s not the most comfortable setup, but still manageable for a short stay. The minibar follows the usual hotel practice—aside from complimentary water, tea, and coffee, the rest of the items are chargeable. One thing we appreciated was the smart TV. We spent some relaxing time listening to music and watching travel videos on YouTube after long days exploring Sa Pa. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a modern electric shower system, which was quite impressive. They even installed a heated lamp to keep you warm while showering—something you’ll definitely appreciate in the chilly Sa Pa climate. However, the wash basin design could be improved. Water tends to collect around the sides, leaving the surface constantly wet, and occasionally attracting small bugs. The hotel doesn’t include breakfast by default, but you can pay extra if you’d like the convenience of eating on-site. It’s not the cheapest option, but it’s certainly convenient. The hotel also offers facilities like a gym and a swimming pool. The pool is supposed to be heated, but during our visit the weather was extremely foggy and humid, so the heating was turned off and swimming wasn’t really appealing anyway. Their rooftop area is quite beautiful and would probably be an amazing place to enjoy the valley view on a clear day. Overall, despite the foggy weather limiting the scenery, Hotel DeLaMont is still a comfortable and decent hotel with spacious rooms and good facilities. On a clear day, the view alone would likely make the stay even more memorable.

(Periode daar: 17-20 september, afkoeling en lichte regen) Het hotel voelt luxe aan. Geweldige voorzieningen, geweldige gastvrijheid, geweldige service. Voor mijn moslimvrienden is het een strategische plek, op 5 minuten lopen van het ENIGE halal-restaurant daar (SAPA HALAL RESTAURANT). Degenen onder u die van paardrijden houden, kunnen rechtstreeks bij het hotel huren, hoewel ik dit tijdens mijn verblijf niet zou aanbevelen vanwege het weer en de bochtige wegen. U kunt met de receptioniste van het hotel een taxi voor u reserveren van 's ochtends tot 17.00 uur lokale tijd. Gecharterd voor u en brengt u rond om plaatsen te bezoeken die u wilt. Het uitzicht daar is zooooooooo geweldig en verjongend.

I had a good stay here, all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They did their best to get me an early check-in, which I really appreciated. The location is decent, though the main entrance is quite narrow (pretty much car-width), so it’s easy to miss on your first try and during night time as well. This is an issue for couples, nitpick for me. the hot water runs out fairly quickly. Not sure if this is common in northern Vietnam, but you’ll need to pause and wait for it to heat up again. If you’re traveling with a partner, don’t take too long in the shower or the next person might end up with cold water. Amenities, I didn’t explore them. Breakfast was included, with a mix of Western and Vietnamese options, which was a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Alles was hier geweldig, ik kom zeker nog eens terug. Ik ben nogal kieskeurig wat betreft mijn verblijf, maar bij Garrya voelde ik me erg op mijn gemak.

Great experience with this hotel, bed is so comfortable. Nice breakfast as well... room is very clean.

Generally hotel standard is below the standard of a 4 star hotel Location is not very good and quite far from the town centre about 30 minutes walk HOTEL room is very big for single occupancy Hotel amenities were in quite bad. The swimming pool is closed and the bar is closed as well. Rooms were clean. Service is satisfactory and the reception does not speak English.

Een onvergetelijk verblijf in Pao's Sapa Ik heb onlangs in Pao's Sapa verbleven en het overtrof al mijn verwachtingen. De kamers waren brandschoon en prachtig ontworpen, met alle voorzieningen die je maar kunt wensen. Het personeel was ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam, altijd bereid om met een glimlach te helpen. Het uitzicht vanuit het hotel was absoluut adembenemend! De locatie is perfect, met gemakkelijke toegang tot Sapa Center, en de gratis pendeldienst maakte het reizen zo gemakkelijk. Ik kan Pao's Sapa niet genoeg aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar comfort en luxe. Een speciale dank aan Mayu voor haar uitzonderlijke hulp en zorg tijdens ons verblijf. Haar toewijding en professionaliteit sprongen er echt uit. Ik wil graag terugkeren en haar in een hogere functie zien - ze verdient het absoluut!
