Hotels met Pools in Zanzibar North Region, Tanzania

This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. People who work there are ok. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job. The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us. The hotel is ok so you can go there and rest for even a few weeks but the area is dangerous so stay safe in the hotel. Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him.

De indeling van de kamer is redelijk, schoon en helder. Er worden elke dag twee flessen water verstrekt. Het zwembad is schoon en mooi. Het diner kan van tevoren worden gereserveerd hotel ligt op 500 meter afstand van de kust.

Prachtig strand, goedkoop (ik verbleef er half april), niet slecht voor een 4* hotelkamer, MAAR! Het hotel moet aan de service werken: 1. Het restaurant wordt slecht schoongemaakt, er liggen nog kruimels op de banken. 2. De ligstoelen moeten gerepareerd worden en de matrassen moeten vervangen worden. 3. Er ontstond een lastige situatie, maar niemand van het personeel, inclusief de manager, wilde er aandacht aan besteden totdat er een conflict uitbrak. Ze ontweken het tot het laatste moment en wilden het probleem niet aanpakken. 4. De schoonmaaksters maken veel lawaai tijdens het schoonmaken van de kamers. Er zijn veel kamers in het hotel, dus je zult ze urenlang vanuit de kamers horen schreeuwen (niet praten, maar tegen elkaar schreeuwen). 5. Alles in de fitnessruimte moet vervangen worden. 6. Leer de schoonmaaksters alstublieft dat de plek waar het dekbedovertrek wordt vastgemaakt het voeteneind is, niet het hoofdeinde van het bed. Ook ligt de deken gekreukt in de kast en het is niet duidelijk of het dekbedovertrek is verschoond, aangezien alles erg gekreukt is.

The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. It’s so nice place! The owner Polish woman so polite and friendly ! All our questions was solved ! All 10/10 ! The territory clean and fresh! The rooms also fresh and designed very well! Food in Restaurant so delicious ! The beach not the best all day ,sometimes water level low because of tide.So u can not go swimming.this difficult but they have nice pool! So think what important for you if best beach you can choose Nungwi , if atmosphere at all - this hotel the best!

Dit hotel is echt bijzonder. Het heeft een unieke, persoonlijke sfeer, met veel gezellige hoekjes, een prachtig zwembad en comfortabele ligstoelen. Het personeel was erg gastvrij en regelde alles voor me, van de luchthaventransfer tot een snorkeltrip. Als alleenreizende vrouw voelde ik me er heel veilig en goed verzorgd. Een echte aanrader.

My stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis was absolutely magical. Waking up to the ocean in view and catching the sunrise daily was golden – a truly breathtaking way to start each day. The hotel’s private beach was such a serene and peaceful retreat, offering the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the turquoise waters away from the crowds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring I had the best night’s sleep, and the staff were so attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make my stay truly special. The food was top-notch, with every dish prepared to perfection, and the night entertainment was amazing, adding a lively yet elegant touch to the evenings. The rooftop bar, with its stunning panoramic views of the ocean, was an absolute highlight – a sight to behold and the perfect place to unwind. Nungwi Dreams by Mantis is a serene oasis away from the busyness of Nungwi, offering both relaxation and unforgettable experiences. I can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Voordelen: Het hotel is erg groot en heeft goede faciliteiten. Het heeft een apart strand waar je surfmateriaal en dergelijke kunt huren, en het is ook handig om de zee op te gaan en op dolfijnen te jagen. De locatie is onafhankelijk en een beetje ver weg van andere plaatsen op het eiland. Ik denk dat het genoeg is om 1-2 dagen te blijven. Nadelen: De service leek een beetje onzorgvuldig. Ik maakte een reservering voor de lunch in de strandclub om 12.00 uur. Toen we aankwamen, zeiden ze dat iemand onze lunch had opgegeten, en ze geloofden ons niet. De houding van de ober was bijzonder irritant, nadat hij duizenden dollars had uitgegeven om in een hotel te verblijven, wie kon er nou liegen over een lunch? Deze service is echt geweldig, ik weet niet hoe de obers zijn opgeleid. Ik heb duizenden dollars uitgegeven en de service was zo slecht. Verwacht hier geen sterrenservice en boek geen speciale restaurants. Eet gewoon in het buffetrestaurant, dat scheelt tijd en moeite en maakt je niet boos.
