Hotels met Pools in Uva Province, Sri Lanka

Een van de beste plekken tijdens onze weeklange reis door Centraal-Sri Lanka. Ik wou dat ik langer dan een dag was gebleven, gewoon om te relaxen bij het zwembad met uitzicht op de bergen. De kamer was erg ruim, met twee grote bedden met klamboes, warm water, een waterkoker en thee. Er was geen kluis of tv, maar wat maakt het uit? Het terras was groot en het uitzicht op de bergen was adembenemend. Het zwembad was fijn en het personeel was attent. Het ontbijt vond ik echter minder; hoewel het een buffet was, was er niet veel om uit te kiezen. Ik had liever een gewoon Engels ontbijt gehad. De locatie is eigenlijk goed; het is gemakkelijk om naar het centrum te lopen over de spoorlijn. We verdwaalden echter op de terugweg in het donker; de kaarten waren niet erg nauwkeurig, maar overdag is alles gemakkelijk te vinden.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij dit hotel. De ligging is top, het ontbijt is goed en de medewerkers zijn erg vriendelijk. Enige nadeel is dat het erg gehorig is in het hotel, waardoor je de buren kan horen douchen en je hierdoor vroeg in de ochtend al wakker wordt.

Great hotel, with unbeatable view of Ella rock on the balcony. However the room did not have universal plug sockets, the hotel provided a hairdryer but did not fit the plug socket. It is also very difficult to get to with suitcases. Fine if you’re backpacking, but carrying suitcases up the massive hill is very difficult. Perhaps the hotel should look into purchasing their own tuktuk to ferry customers up and down the hill. Not everyone is a backpacker!

洗手間的透氣窗是直通室外的，晚上開燈後會有蚊子飛進來、小壁虎爬進來。房間可能是因為太過於潮濕有一股氣味。不過，酒店的服務很好，我們第二天早上去Safari由於越野車卡在了泥坑裡耽誤了時間，回酒店比較晚，酒店還打電話過來問我們需不需要留出我們的早餐。

This hotel is beautiful and modern. Location is great, easy to get to restaurants and shops outside of the hotel. Staff have been very attentive and helpful. They clean the rooms promptly. The laundry service is great. The staff even ran to help us push the car up the hill when it was stuck. Room service food has been very good too, their devilled chicken and pizza were the best. Highly recommend staying with Te Dalu if you are visiting Ella.

Our stay here was absolutely remarkable, and we highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff are some of the kindest, most generous, and genuinely involved people we have ever encountered — their warmth truly made our stay unforgettable. The surroundings are peaceful, and it’s magical to watch animals right from the pool. The food is extraordinary — both breakfast and dinner were among the most delicious meals we had in Sri Lanka. The rooms are spacious and offer beautiful views over the fields, where we could see peacocks, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Another highlight is that the hotel provides bicycles for free, making it easy and fun to explore the nearby area. The pool is large and perfect for relaxing, rounding out a truly special experience. We will definitely be coming back and can’t recommend this place enough.

Geweldige plek om te blijven met zeer vriendelijk en handig verblijf! Schoon safari ervaring in Udawalawa National Park. Ze zagen veel olifanten!

Все было очень хорошо! Завораживающие пейзажи. Отличный персонал, который работает максимально старательно, чтобы угодить гостям отеля. Единственное, что меня расстроило это двухспальная кровать, на которой вместо одного матраса, было два отдельных матраса. В таких случаях между этими матрасами на кровати ”яма”.
