Staff of this hotel are very nice.
They were kind and friendly at any time.
Room was clean and large for me to stay comfortably.
A big mall is ten minutes walk from this hotel and bus office(Jet bus) is not far(It is easy to go to the Dead sea or Petra).

Antana en W zijn waarschijnlijk de twee hoogste gebouwen in de stad. In één oogopslag zie je het grootste winkelcentrum van Amman aan de overkant van de weg, wat handig is voor reizen. De kamer is niet groot, maar wel handig. Bijzonder is het model van Petra Mountain Road zodra je binnenkomt. Alleen hotelpersoneel kan helpen met parkeren, dus je moet even wachten om de auto op te halen. De service is erg goed en de houding is fatsoenlijk. Het is vriendelijk voor kinderen. Er is een exclusieve handgeschreven welkomstkaart en welkomstdrankjes en desserts bij het inchecken. De kinderen zijn erg blij.

Good location, smack in the middle of the city (difficult to drive, easy to cab). Staff are friendly but they might be too busy. Asked for some toiletries and ice, it was slow to reach us. fridge not wining in the hotel

Het hotel is goed onderhouden en geschikt voor zakenreizen. Er is parkeergelegenheid voor huurauto's en er is een valetservice beschikbaar. Diverse winkelcentra in het centrum en diverse populaire bezienswaardigheden van Amman zijn gemakkelijk bereikbaar met de auto. De wegen kunnen echter druk zijn en de verkeersregeling is vaak kunstmatig (zeer onintelligent, met verkeerspolitie die kruispunten soms wel 10-15 minuten bezet houdt). Het is aan te raden een hotel dichter bij bezienswaardigheden of zakelijke locaties te boeken om vertragingen te voorkomen.

The hotel is little bit old and the AC is not working well even when I asked for maintenance check they told me that this is the best it can get so I would not recommend it as u could not have a good sleep while the room was too warm for me

De receptie van het Marriott Hotel was erg knap en ontving ons. Het personeel was erg attent en vriendelijk tegen Chinese mensen. De ontbijtkelner heette Badren, die super aardig was. Zelfs het Jordaanse meisje dat de eieren bakte was super mooi. Ik heb stiekem een foto van haar gemaakt😃 Ik woon daar. Het Marriott is ook erg comfortabel. Het hotel is relatief rustig op de binnenplaats. Het ligt heel dicht bij de schilderachtige plekjes van de stad. Het is binnen 2-10 kilometer met de auto. Iedereen in het hotel het personeel heeft een glimlach, die erg warm en helend is! Nu begint een nieuwe dagreis, vertrekkend naar Petra [knuffel][knuffel][knuffel][knuffel][knuffel]

🍪 “Warm Welcome & Comfort at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman” 🏨
I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Amman from Wednesday to Thursday, and it was a short but truly pleasant experience.
Right from check-in, the staff made me feel welcome with their signature warm chocolate chip cookie 🍪 — such a simple touch, but it set the tone for a great stay.
🛏️ The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially cozy after a long day, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and restful.
🍽️ I had the chance to try the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of local and international choices. Fresh, flavorful, and plenty of options to start the day right.
📍 The location is convenient — close to restaurants, shops, and a good base to explore Amman.
Most importantly, the hospitality of the staff stood out. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, attentive, and made sure my short stay was enjoyable.

CCallum TAn overall enjoyable stay at the Ritz-Carlton Amman, but there’s certainly room for improvement.
Pros:
- Rooms are enormous, and incredibly comfortable, with a good modern TV that allows streaming from your phone and a lovely rain shower. This really is the major highlight.
- Legend’s bar is very fun. Cocktails may be a bit lacklustre, but the massive screens, live music, and golf and racing simulators more than make it a great bar.
- The Lebanese restaurant was delicious, and definitely a great choice for dinner.
- Breakfast when available is very solid but not amazing (see the cons for more info).
- Hotel location is far from downtown, but next to all the other major hotels with good access to restaurants.
- Staff are courteous and helpful for the most part.
Cons:
- The breakfast restaurant is far too small for the size of the hotel. I had breakfast paid for, but missed it twice due to the restaurant being full. This really needs to be amended because the hotel itself was not even full. If you cannot attend the capacity of your hotel, this is a deep issue. Breakfast was solid, but still it was small compared to other 5 star establishments.
- New Year’s Eve was due to be the highlight of our stay, but we were left massively underwhelmed. We booked a table at Roberto’s, but despite being seated by 22:20, it took until 23:00 to get our appetisers, and we had not even had our main courses by the time the New Year came. This is unacceptable.
- A small but necessary point, in general the cleaning was fine, but one day we returned to the hotel at 16:40 to find we still had not had our room made up. We had to request this. I expect far more from a 5 star establishment, and the fact that I’m not sure we would have received a cleaning without our request is concerning.
Overall, I’m happy with my stay. I still think the Ritz-Carlton Amman is probably the best hotel choice in Amman, but it leaves a lot to be desired. My review and rating reflects how I feel based on competing hotels in the area.

I stayed at Hilton Amman for two nights with my friend, and while the hotel has potential, the overall experience fell short of what I expect from the Hilton brand.
Location:
The property is in a nice, more upscale area of Amman — convenient and pleasant, with several hotels around. The check-in process was smooth even though we arrived very late (around 2 AM), which I appreciated.
Room & Amenities:
Unfortunately, the in-room experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, we realized there were no toothbrushes provided — something quite basic for a five-star hotel. We called to request them, and it took a long time before they arrived. When they finally did, only one toothbrush was brought, even though we clearly asked for two. It may seem minor, but after a long day of travel and checking in so late, it was inconvenient and left a poor first impression.
The Wi-Fi connection was extremely weak throughout the stay — to the point that we couldn’t rely on it and had to use our mobile data instead. One of the power sockets near the TV wasn’t working, and the doors and fittings looked quite old and worn, giving the room a tired appearance that doesn’t reflect Hilton’s usual standard.
Overall impression:
Hilton is known for consistency, comfort, and attention to detail — qualities I unfortunately didn’t experience here. The location is a plus, but when basic amenities, Wi-Fi, and room maintenance are overlooked, it affects the entire stay.
Would I stay again? Probably not. I would consider trying another Hilton brand in Amman, such as Signia or DoubleTree, or perhaps explore another hotel altogether.

From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. The reception team were efficient at both check-in and check-out, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free.
The room was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, offering a great blend of modern amenities and a relaxing ambience. I particularly appreciated the quality of the bedding, which ensured a restful night's sleep. The housekeeping team did an exceptional job of maintaining the room throughout my stay.
Dining at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of international and local dishes, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant staff were courteous and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The hotel's location is another strong point - convenient for both business and leisure travellers. In addition, the facilities, including the fitness centre and swimming pool, were well maintained and added to the overall positive experience.
Overall, the Mövenpick Hotel Amman is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the city. With its exceptional service, comfortable accommodation and convenient location, it certainly lives up to the Mövenpick standard. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend it to others.

The food and drinks were enjoyable, the rooms as are clean and modern. I would highly reccomend the W and I will stay there in the future.

Both the front desk and restaurant staff are very friendly. However, the facilities feel a bit older than last year. Overall, it's still quite good, and I'll consider it again next time.
