Dit hotel heeft verschillende problemen die mijn verblijf hebben beïnvloed. Ten eerste is het verlichtingsontwerp slecht: er is een felle spot voor de tv die oncomfortabel is, maar als je hem uitzet wordt de kamer te donker, waardoor er geen goede verlichtingsopties overblijven. Ten t****e is de luchtkwaliteit zorgwekkend. Er zweeft zichtbaar stof in de kamer, vooral onder de lampen, en er is geen ventilatie omdat de ramen niet open kunnen. Hierdoor voelde de kamer benauwd en oncomfortabel aan, vooral voor mensen die gevoelig zijn voor de luchtkwaliteit. Geluidsoverlast is een ander groot probleem. Door de slechte geluidsisolatie zijn geluiden van buitenaf en de ganggeluiden duidelijk te horen, wat de slaap verstoort. Bovendien is het dekbed ongewoon zwaar, wat mogelijk niet voor alle gasten comfortabel is. Na slechts één nacht kreeg mijn vriend allergiesymptomen en werd hij verkouden, terwijl ik last had van hoofdpijn, keelpijn, verstopte neus en droge ogen, mogelijk vanwege het stof en de slechte luchtcirculatie. Hoewel het hotel er op foto's goed uitziet, was de daadwerkelijke ervaring teleurstellend. Ik hoop dat ze de luchtkwaliteit, de hygiëne en de geluidsbeheersing verbeteren, zodat het verblijf comfortabeler wordt.

Very nice hotel with great amenities; a welcome drink, pool, gym, and a spa (extra cost). There was also a rooftop space/bar (didn’t go to see) - the reception staff were very pushy to get people to attend giving a 10% discount for consumption. The room was very nice and clean, a smart TV welcome with the guest name, free water, coffee and tea. There was also a smart panel to control the lights and air conditioning, it did get warm in the room and the temperature didn’t seem to correlate to the ac thermostat. The bed was comfortable however it was a hard mattress, may find it a little difficult to find comfort if used to a softer mattress. The hotel is an art lovers paradise, there were artworks throughout the public spaces and room by the artist Boris Bućan - the hotel offered a guided tour to view all throughout the hotel. Great location and close to many tourist attractions, restaurants and supermarkets.

Located about 15-20 minutes walk from the central bus station or about 5 minutes via taxi. A mix of tram and walking would take you 15-20 minutes. Surrounded by a pizza takeaway, coffee shop, bakery and mini mart. About 20 minutes walk to the main town centre or take the tram just outside the hotel. You can take a taxi which is generally outside. The surrounding area is safe but looks a bit run down because of graffiti. The hotel reception is immaculate. Customer service is really good and you can leave your bag if you check in early (3pm check in). The first floor has a pool (free), limited gym (free) and spa (paid). Restaurant and bar at the ground floor. The room is immaculate but looks a bit dated. King size bed is very comfortable and a bonus. Blankets are comfortable and weighted. Air conditioning is strong but a bit loud. Kettle, free coffee/tea, complimentary waters, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, robes/slippers, and towels available. Shower is strong with two different heads. The shower sprays everywhere on the outside floor due to a poor glass shower curtain. Noise? Rather quiet but can hear noisy people shouting in the corridor. TV is old and dated. Plugs on both sides of the bed (European style). Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

Hotel is good, facilities are ok. But restaurant people service need to be improved, especially for attitude

I'm not a frequent hostel-goer, but my stay here was less than impressive despite the high praise it often receives. The 11-person dorm felt cramped, featuring creaky wooden beds placed too closely together. The bedding and air quality left much to be desired. On the plus side, the facilities were decent and relatively clean, including a bar area that seemed underutilized both by guests and outsiders. Considering the £20 per night price tag, there are plenty of other options in Zagreb that offer a better value for the same cost

Really enjoyed my stay at The Westin Zagreb. The room was comfy and had everything I needed, plus a nice view of the city. Staff were super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was tasty with lots of options. The location’s great – easy walk to the main sights. Would definitely stay here again!

Het ontbijt is heerlijk 😋 De kamer is schoon en goed onderhouden! Zal de volgende keer weer boeken! Er is een ijsmachine, zwembad, fitnessruimte en sauna! Het was een geweldige tijd om met mijn vrienden op reis te gaan!
