Hotels met Pools in Torfaen, United Kingdom

I chose to stay at the Parkway Hotel as I was visiting a work site very near by. The hotel is a little ‘retro’ in its appearance but I really liked it! Every staff member I encountered from reception to leisure to the bar were super friendly and efficient. As a solo female traveller feeling safe and comfortable is a priority and I couldn’t fault the hotel for this.  The room was warm, clean, quiet and comfortable. Although perhaps a little dated, it was nice to have leisure facilities on site. Breakfast was perfectly satisfactory with a choice of hot and cold buffet or à la carte - perhaps basic for some but it did the job for me! The only down side for me was that the TV signal in the room was very poor and WiFi coverage throughout the hotel even worse so getting any work done was a bit tricky.  Otherwise I’d happily stay agin.
