The hotel is an old building, it looks very classical, but it seems that the paint is still used to hit the floor, the taste is very big. Because I went back to dinner very late at night, I lay down and found that the taste was already in the middle of the night. I was sorry to disturb. We were so sad to leave after 3 days, I recommend making it your base for the Loire Valley (not least because it’s the prettier side of the Loire). We looked forward to our return from the castles in the afternoon: swimming and lounging, strolling through the Romantic garden or choosing one of its many ‘rooms’ to while the evening away, doing a 5km run through farmland and tree-lined paths along the Indre, relaxing with a cocktail and playing billiards (badly) or dipping into the library. The rooms are comfortable, the atmosphere, artistic and relaxed. Highly recommend having the breakfast and dinner, home-made and delicious. Coral is on hand with great suggestions for your trip. In fact, it feels like stepping back in time into a ‘pensione’ where all you have to do is arrive.

The food was very over-priced and of poor quality. The room was way too hot and paying so much for a 4-star hotel room, having paper cups is not acceptable. The exterior of the hotel looks very shabby, the lack of a sensible location as it is very difficult to navigate to just added to the gaggravation. The staff were pleasant and some helpful but it is all over-priced for what you got. The eV chargepoints in the piravte car park were a welcome addition for an eV driver but the first one I tried didn't work so I missed the opportunity to get a full charge during dinner which gave me a lot of issues the next day.

The facilities in the hotel are also very simple, which is a good place to enjoy. There are not many parking spaces inside, but there should be spare. If you are full, you should park outside the hotel. There is no elevator, so it is recommended that if the check-in time is relatively short, you can consider putting the box in the car and only take the necessary items into the hotel. Nothing else, it is really a great hotel. The garden has a secret forest path, which is very beautiful.

I lived in a 48-hour trip to the Loire River, a noble royal castle in 1313. The previous owners include the duke, the relatives of the king, the relatives of the queen, and so on. Suzanne, the last owner, was not the royal family. It can be seen that the owner of the castle is a multi-family male who loves hunting, and various animal specimens are distributed in every corner. The entire castle is completely protected and tidy. Walking in every corner has the feeling of exploring the secrets. The climate is similar to that of northern China. Only critic that I can say is that the entrance that leads to the hotel could be improve, it felt like we were going to get lost in the middle of a jungle 😅. Other than that, beautiful rooms with a private terrace, very tasty food in their restaurant that we went for the bistro but definitely need to try out the fine dining one next time, even the breakfast was full of choices from French to international style. Stayed for one night with my fiancé but definitely will come back for more!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! This French-style country hotel has an outdoor pool and a large terrace. We had a very relaxing stay. It's not far from the Château de Chambord and next to a beautiful, vintage French farmhouse. A stroll around it after dinner in the evening will definitely exceed your expectations!

First of all, I want to give this hotel a bad review overall. We booked a castle king-size bed room. In the pictures on the Ctrip platform, there was a room with a bathtub. We were originally going to stay in the Loire area, but when we saw the bathtub, considering that there was a lot of walking in Paris and the children could rest in the hotel that day, I chose to drive an extra hour to stay in this hotel. But when we checked in, we found that it was not only a small attic room, but also had no bathtub. We communicated with the hotel through the Ctrip platform, and the reply was that the room was fully booked that day and there was no other room to change. This is obviously a wrong logic. Since it shows that the bathtub room can be booked, it should be arranged. With the excuse of full room, since the order has been confirmed, it means that our agreement has been established. As a result, a room type that does not meet our agreement was arranged on site. This is obviously not in line with the spirit of compliance with agreements advocated by Europe. This is a fraud. I want to give a thumbs up to Ctrip here. It has been insisting on helping us communicate with relevant agents and hotels, and finally reached a compensation agreement. But regrettably, something happened again. I found that the air conditioner in our room did not work. After repeated communication with the hotel, only one of the two air conditioner outlets could produce a weak wind. We had to open the window slightly to sleep, but there was a humming sound of the air conditioner outside the window, which caused us to fall asleep very late. The next morning, another blow hit. Because we fell asleep late the night before, the child did not wake up until 10:30 the next morning. The hotel reminded us when we checked in that the time for breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was 7-10 o'clock, and the breakfast service for the room could be delivered to 11 o'clock. We communicated with the hotel by phone at 10:45 and asked the restaurant to deliver breakfast to the room, but by 11:03, there was still no breakfast. Considering that we had to drive a long distance to Charles de Gaulle Airport to check in, we really didn't have time to argue with the hotel. We had to check out and leave hungry. The environment of the hotel is good. The so-called castle hotel is small, but the building is beautiful. There are forests and lotus ponds in the courtyard. There are small frogs on the lotus leaves. The restaurant is open. It is very comfortable to sit in the yard to eat and enjoy the scenery. The hotel also has a small swimming pool. The hardware is good and the environment is also very good. The facilities in the room are also very new, and the bathroom facilities are of good quality. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain in Tours, with the Loire River at the foot of the mountain and the old town of Tours at the foot of the mountain, about 3.5 kilometers away. Driving down the mountain, you can locate the Tours Church. After dusk, park your car in the parking lot between the church and the castle, which is free. There are various restaurants on the side streets, and there is also a Carrefour open until 10 pm. The restaurants on the street have French, Italian and Syrian cuisine. French cuisine is more complicated, and it is very troublesome if you don't know French. The price per person is about 20 euros. If you want to be safe, go for a simple Turkish kebab.
