Pet friendly hotels in Oslo County, Norway

Alles is er, behalve wat er niet is. Als de kamer leeg is, kunt u vroeg inchecken en uw bagage opslaan. Er is geen koelkast in de kamer, maar er is wel een gemeenschappelijke koelkast beschikbaar in de lobby. De lobby heeft ook een verkoopautomaat en een magnetron. Het is 5 minuten lopen naar het station van Oslo en de belangrijkste toeristische bezienswaardigheden liggen ook op loopafstand. Tramlijn 12, die naar Vigeland Park gaat, stopt ook direct naast het hotel. Ik ben van plan om het opnieuw te bezoeken. Ik beveel het aan als een hotel met een goede prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.

Na de eerste avond beviel mijn kamer niet helemaal, het was er veel te warm. De volgende dag kreeg ik probleemloos een andere kamer (kosteloos) Dit was stukken beter en zeker naar mijn tevredenheid. De kamer was niet groot maar wel schoon. Zelfde geldt voor de badkamer, die was brandschoon. Bed lag erg lekker en alles bij elkaar zijn de mensen aan de receptie vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Let wel op: Er is geen lopend buffet of ontbijt. Dit is wel goed om te weten als je hier naar opzoek bent. Ik was dat niet dus was op de hoogte. Locatie is goed. Je loopt zo het centrum in / winkelgebied waar er een heel ruim aanbod is aan etablis*****ten en leuke bars om wat te eten en te drinken.

I had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid, met Noorse zalm, diverse soorten brood en kaas! Ze liggen allemaal in het stadscentrum, maar er zijn minder kamers, geen stoelen en thermosflessen! De prijs is iets hoger, maar als het goedkoper was, zou het perfect zijn!

Overall, my stay was pleasant. Although there was a slight hiccup with my room booking that delayed my check-in, I appreciated the efforts from both the hotel reception (especially Jordan) and Trip’s representative (Nico) in resolving the matter promptly. The room itself was fairly basic, but the superb location and delicious breakfast more than made up for it. I would definitely consider returning and staying again with Clarion Hotels

Een standaardhotel met complete faciliteiten en netheid. We kwamen vanuit IJsland naar Oslo, voornamelijk om deel te nemen aan Noorwegen in Miniatuur. We maakten een wandeling door Oslo op de t****e dag en konden de derde dag vrij rondreizen. Alles was prima. Deze reis naar IJsland en de vijf Scandinavische landen, de Sognefjord en de Hardangfjord in Noorwegen, waren de belangrijkste attracties. We stopten een nacht in Voss, en het hele proces was prachtig!

The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights. Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap. As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window. What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train.

De locatie is niet in de stad, maar ook niet ver weg. Hoe dan ook, we reden er zelf heen. Het hotel is luxe en schoon, het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid en de prijs is laag vergeleken met andere hotels. Het is zeer kosteneffectief. We verbleven er één nacht toen we op de eerste dag in Oslo aankwamen, en bleven er vervolgens twee nachten. De pizza naast de deur die de receptie aanbeval was erg lekker. We hebben er vier maaltijden van gegeten. Het enige wat tegenviel, is dat de kamer wat klein is. Het lijkt erop dat bijna alle hotels in Europa zulke kleine kamers hebben, dus dat is normaal voor het grote publiek.

I stayed in the Junior Suite at Scandic Byporten and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect — directly connected to Oslo Central Station, which makes traveling around the city and to the airport incredibly convenient. The suite was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the large windows with great city views and the cozy seating area, which made the room feel more like a small apartment than a hotel. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were professional, welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was another highlight — a wide variety of fresh and tasty options, including local specialties. Overall, my stay was smooth and relaxing. The Junior Suite is definitely worth it if you want extra comfort and space in the heart of Oslo. Highly recommended!

Mostly great, especially the concierge was very helpful, good food and nice look. Location is best part right in heart of so much stuff. A few miscues among rest of staff were odd for nice hotel.
