Zoals altijd een spectaculair verblijf. Ik heb een upgrade naar een kamer met balkon genomen en we werden niet teleurgesteld. Fantastisch uitzicht op de haven, het strand en de krijtrotsen van Dover vanaf het grote balkon. 's Avonds was de lucht prachtig helder en konden we Frankrijk vanaf ons balkon zien. De kamer was ruim en had huiselijk meubilair, inclusief de meubels voor het balkon. Alles was schoon en van hoge kwaliteit. Het strand en de haven liggen op slechts 2 minuten lopen aan de overkant van de straat. De bar en het restaurant waren wederom fantastisch! Ik was er met een hond en had geen problemen met het krijgen van eten. Het personeel was zoals altijd super beleefd en behulpzaam, ze zijn een aanwinst voor het hotel! Ik kan The Grand Burstin van harte aan iedereen aanbevelen!

There is a fantastic place to relax. The stay was peaceful, the food was excellent, and the breakfast was just perfect. A truly great spot for a restful getaway!

A great find. The Rooms, the food and staff were excellent. Great for pets. Close to the shuttle port. We will stay here again. Only point I could make is that they need a better area for breakfast when travelling with a dog. The low tables with settees are not ideal for eating from.

De bediening is zeer attent. Ik krijg elke dag een glas ijs en bestel mijn eigen bier. 's Avonds is het erg gezellig. Het badwater is overvloedig en comfortabel. Het kost niets om te parkeren en het is op vrijdag aangesloten op de snelweg, dus het is handig om overal naartoe te gaan. 1 uur rijden naar de luchthaven Heathrow.

We had a great time at the Holiday Inn in Rochester. Tamia, the receptionist, provided excellent customer service and recommended a fantastic Indian restaurant when we requested after hours. The room was basic but clean and equipped with everything we needed. Although we didn't have time to use the pool due to our late arrival, we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared by the chef. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

Critique professionnelle : Royal Wells Hotel Situé à environ vingt minutes à pied de la gare, le Royal Wells Hotel demande un léger détour, mais l’effort est rapidement oublié à l’arrivée. L’établissement séduit par la qualité de son accueil : le personnel fait preuve d’une attention constante, sans jamais en faire trop. La chambre réservée offrait une vue dégagée sur la campagne du Kent, apportant calme et sérénité au séjour. Mention particulière pour le petit déjeuner à la carte, d’excellente facture, où chaque plat est préparé avec soin. Une adresse de caractère, où l’on apprécie autant le confort des lieux que le professionnalisme du service.

This is an excellent hotel, with good facilities, lovely central courtyard, plenty of free parking, and very friendly staff. With Chatham and the Dockyard nearby, the location is excellent. Not certain which category to put this hotel in! It's not luxury but better than budget. The rooms are a little dated and the TVs need upgrading. The shower, again, a little dated. We booked a room for three as our adult son has learning disabilities. He was delighted to find he had a separate bedroom with his own, small TV. The rooms were clean, the hotel tidy, and a very good breakfast was included in the price. Overall, good value for money.

Booked to stay here over half term with my daughter for a couple of nights - had a cosy room which was just right for the two of us. Front reception staff were really kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely - the lady there was so nice and although was busy as she was on her own, she was always smiling. We dined in the restaurant one of the evenings - food was delicious but the heating wasn’t working on that floor so the whole room was cold. Bar / restaurant staff were really nice. Overall, we had a lovely stay and we would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

There aren’t that many hotel options in Tunbridge Wells and this hotel, albeit on the edge of town has parking. It’s a bit dated, looks like a retirement home, but clean and the room was of a good size. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options in the buffet. I didn’t use the bar and there was a function that finished at midnight during one of the (weekend) nights I stayed. There was noise from that but it didn’t bother me that much and the music finished in the outdoor area on time.

Excellent hotel and pub/restaurant, good value for business trip.
