Pet Friendly hotels in Zhejiang, China

This are many good things that I like and one thing that can break the deal.  I like the room because it is bright. It has many lights. It is big too. I like the virtual assistant whereby you can control the curtain , the lights, the air conditioner and the VA is also smart enough to reply ‘yes’ in different way. The air conditioner however seems to have one temperature setting. It is always too cold or it keeps on blowing air and doesn’t have a thermostat.  The room however has no shelf space. No closet, no rack to place your luggage. The bathroom its translucent so a person taking shower , one can see a figure. I like the sofa and the table but the chair doesn’t like stable.  The breakfast is buffet style. It has quite a bit of variety and it changed on the 2 mornings that I ate there. There is a snack after 9 pm . I waited 25 minutes for a simple bowl of noodles. There were 5 people ahead of me and each bowl of noodles required time to heat up.  The staff has cold bottle waters in the lobby. There is no fridge inside your own room.  There is a washing machine and laundry that one can use for free. The staff said it would take out my laundry from the washing machine and put it in the dryer and they did. However , one inconsiderate guest took out my clothes from the dryer when they weren’t completely dried. He had 4 or 5 things to wash and he used 2 washing machines. I think because it is free and the guest wanted to maximize the usage of the free things. The hotel cannot control this kind of behavior. It is better if the laundry room is behind lock doors and only the staff can access it and of course, wash the clothes for the guests.  The toilet is something that I didn’t like. The moment you sit down, it flushes water and then if you move, it flushes again. But the problem that I had was the water was so strong that my buttocks were wet. I told the staff and he came to reduce the water flow which solved the problem.  One my last night there, I went to the bathroom 4 times and the last time I  was shocked to see a cockroach on the floor. It wasn’t moving but I wasn’t sure so I killed it. I dislike cockroach in any hotel. If I see this comment ( about cockroach sighting )  , I wouldn’t have stayed there because I am afraid there is an infestation and there will be cockroaches crawling all over me and enter my packing cubes , my clothes and my luggage. I was thinking it would be best not to write it in the comment if the hotel staff said they will would fix the problem. I spoke to the woman who welcomed me the first day. She was very nice and positive up to that point. When I told her about this issue , she said 沒辦法, it is impossible to resolve or there is no solution. Granted, this hotel has 8 stories and it is big. Eradicating pests and cockroaches, ants is not a simple thing but it is certainly not impossible. If China can collect samples from the moon and send astronauts to their own space lab, why is exterminating cockroaches be 汲辦法? Instead of taking a systematic approach to prevent further potential infestation , she said it is not possible.  I like this hotel. It has a lot of potential. The staff was helpful and always eager to help. The room is the best that I stayed in for my  trips and one of the best. ( the one in Pu’er is even better because the staff took my clothes, wash it, dried it, fold it and return it plus there was no cockroach problem ).  I hope the staff will take note of the opportunities presented to them by the guests , and make improvement. If I were to give a score, it would be 8/10 . 2 big points taken out because of the cockroach. 

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found it beautiful, with its rich historical architecture, definitely a sight to see and experience. We were especially impressed by the customer service provided by the staff member named Ling Guo. She and the other staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance.

Shaoxing is so undervalued in the Jiannan area. If you can tolerate the scent of stinky tofu, you would enjoy the leisure time at Shaoxing. This holiday inn located in the old town area is by the side of water channel within 2min of walks to the stone streets. Perfect location for citywalkers. Their friendly staffs, Dongzhi, Qiufen and Jingzhe will help you to pick up your luggage and communicate with you through WeChat (the Chinese version of WhatsApp). We will come back to this place in the future. BTW. Their cat, namely Rich, is friendly and lovely too. Purring and squeezing eyes to travelers is her special talent! 🥰

My short two days stay is the end, but feel reluctant to leave—really wish I could stay a little longer, This is the most wonderful Jiangnan water town I have ever visited—Xitan—natural,nostalgic, and peaceful.Everything here from food to accommodation, is incredibly convenient. The “Lao BanNiang” hostess is warm,attractive and thoughtful,making me feel the warmth of home even while traveling. In this fleeting journey of life,meeting kind and hardworking people is a true blessing and a stroke of fate. Xitang is beautiful because of its scenery, and genuine because of its people. I’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time.

I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

I rang the hotel the day before to ask for directions and they were very helpful with giving advice about getting discounted the entrance ticket for us as the hotel is located within the scenic area and the ticket is also valid for the 2 days we were there for. They also added me to a WeChat group with all their staff and everyone was extremely helpful in giving advice and recommendations. One thing was that the bathroom drain is a bit small and when I was washing my hair in the shower it got blocked by the hair (I have long hair that sheds a bit) and there was a bit of mini-flood happening in the shower, though that's more the design of the shower. Bonus: cats and bunny at the reception! Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting!

出差首選這家酒店，環境好衞生乾淨 空間大小合適， 前台服務態度很好 非常親切 有種回家的感覺 酒店旁邊就有蘭州拉麪木桶飯沙縣小吃土菜館燒鵝飯 特別方便。 酒店交通便捷 附近幾百米就是夜市 各種小吃都有 去佛堂古鎮也近 哈哈太愛了，以後就認定這家酒店了。

De check-in bij de receptie verliep snel en ze boden gesneden fruit aan om te ruilen, of je kon kiezen voor heel fruit. De fruitkraam was heel uniek en er was ook een klein winkeltje met gebak, zodat je wat lokale specialiteiten mee naar huis kon nemen voor ouderen en kinderen. Ik wil ook de bewakers bij de ingang complimenteren die me hielpen met mijn bagage, want mijn koffer was behoorlijk zwaar. De beheerder van het gebouw was ook erg behulpzaam en belde me van tevoren voor extra gemak. Ik weet niet of het hoogseizoen is, maar het hotel was behoorlijk druk, maar de service bleef uitstekend en het was er erg levendig. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, met zowel Chinese als westerse opties. De omgeving van het hotel was ook prachtig, inclusief een gazon dat perfect was voor foto's. De groene omgeving was weelderig en de lucht was fris. Afhalen was erg handig en het ligt dicht bij het schilderachtige gebied. Ze gaven me zelfs een klein cadeautje bij het uitchecken. Het hotpotbuffet voor het diner was ook erg schoon en hygiënisch. 酒店離地鐵站幾百米，步行大概十五分鐘左右，入住時前台給升了房並且開了靠近小區一側的房間，所以晚上睡覺很安靜，房間面積不小，衞生間乾濕分離，馬桶離浴室玻璃有點近略有不便，樓下不遠有吃飯的地方，離江邊也挺近，晚上可以去散步，總體來説價格實惠性價比高，入住體驗不錯。
