De ingang van het hotel is wat lastig te vinden. In tegenstelling tot de ietwat gedateerde buitenkant, zijn de lobby en de overige faciliteiten erg schoon. Het openbare terras is ingericht in roze tinten, wat een verfrissende sfeer geeft. Het lijkt er echter op dat er geen kamers zijn met direct uitzicht naar buiten. De meeste kamers hebben alleen ramen aan de binnenkant, maar mijn kamer had ventilatie. Verrassend genoeg waren de horren voor de ramen vlekkeloos. De wasruimte heeft een staande kledingstomer en de wasmachine en droger zijn groot en efficiënt. De verwarming binnen regelt zich snel en de douches zijn bijzonder indrukwekkend. (Hoewel ik nu geen koffie kan drinken) waren de mooie koffiekopjes een welkome verrassing. De ontbijtselectie is eenvoudig, maar de smaken zijn licht en fris.

We chose the hotel to celebrate our third wedding anniversary. The hotel is a symbol as we also celebrated the wedding at the W Hotel in Shanghai. The hotel in Xi'an is distinguished by its large balconies, where you can elegantly spend the sunset and also have a cup of coffee in the morning while watching the city. The sauna and swimming pool are impeccable. An amazing breakfast with a large selection of Chinese and foreign dishes. Attentive, smiling staff. We had a great time at the hotel.

Where do I even start? My time in Xi’an was unforgettable, and staying at Hermitage was a big reason why. Theres an older gentleman welcomed me with a hot bowl of noodles when I arrived in the rain. The next morning, when I brought my laptop down to work during breakfast, he thoughtfully set up the table and made sure I was seated somewhere with good lighting. On my birthday, the manager even surprised me with a cake. Just so many sweet little gestures that made the stay special. One thing to note: the hotel is located in a scenic area. Cars can’t drive all the way in, so you’ll need to walk a bit to reach the hotel. I happened to visit during Golden Week so some roads were blocked off due to crowd so getting in took a bit of rerouting. But honestly, the experience was so worth it. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Dit was een fantastisch verblijf. Ik heb in veel Hilton-hotels verbleven, maar dit was brandschoon, ruim, licht en ongelooflijk voordelig. De kamer had een geweldige locatie, met ramen die uitkeken op de stadsmuur! Het was ook handig om overal te komen! Het ontbijt was ook erg uitgebreid! Ik zou er zeker weer verblijven! De kwaliteit van het Hilton is constant uitstekend. De kamer was brandschoon. De service bij de receptie was uitstekend en gastvrij. Het in- en uitchecken ging snel en ze waren erg geduldig met het geven van aanbevelingen voor restaurants en bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Het was erg fijn! Hoewel het een relatief nieuw hotel is en een beetje gedateerd, heeft het mijn humeur absoluut niet beïnvloed. Maak je geen zorgen als je Xi'an bezoekt!

SShoumiaoWe were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!

There's also a convenience store nearby. The room is cozy and clean, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the air conditioning and hot water work great. It really has a local feel! The owner sent check-in instructions in advance and warmly introduced local attractions upon arrival. They even helped me call a taxi when I checked out, just like a friendly acquaintance. Absolutely great value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive experience of the old city's vibrant atmosphere.

GGuest UserI genuinely recommend this hotel! The room was spacious and bright, with excellent natural light and ventilation, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the service attitude was very friendly. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and getting around is convenient. It's quiet at night, not noisy at all, so I slept incredibly well. The value for money far exceeded my expectations, and it's definitely worth experiencing!

GGuest UserWe only stayed 3 nights here. The location is good: there are many simple restaurants and supermarkets nearby, Xi’an Railway Station is close, and the metro is just a 10-minute walk away. The place was relatively quiet. Compared to the pictures with which the room was advertised, our room was a bit dilapidated: most of the grout in the bathroom was moldy, the bathroom sink pipe was leaking, and the furniture also looked quite worn. The staff was friendly, and the room had WiFi and a TV.

Llsc1Clean and and convenient place to stay, it is located at a quiet and safe side street just few minutes walk from the terracotta warriors museum. Owners don't speak much English yet, although they are trying to learn (maybe next year they will know!). For now, simple communication using phone translation (voice and typing) is convenient. Hosts are friendly, they are husband and wife and the place is their home renovated. Feels like a homestay (with privacy as rooms are ensuite). They will provide breakfast. For lunch and dinner (paid separately but well priced) they can cook to order spicy or non spicy (your choice of food, again, order using Google translate). Taste of food is homey and tasty. Especially relaxing for stay the night just before a next morning visit to terracotta warriors museum, and return for lunch and unwinding before moving on to next part of journey. In case not rushed in time and staying for more than one night, may I suggest going to one of the Lintong District Onsens (15min by taxi), feel the history and relax by dipping in the same onsen source as Yang Guifei at Huaqing Pools - clean and have lots of outdoor pools, dry rock sauna, and rest areas, felt like having an onsen day in Japan. Can easily spend a whole day (we spent 6hrs and still wanted to spend more). Can ask owners for recommendation. We first stayed last year October when looking for accommodation near the terracotta warrior museum, booked to come back this year to relax and visit the less visited spots, hopefully next year we want to return. My son already misses the friendly cat nextdoors. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserWe arrived at 6 pm and the room was not ready. They explained they offered late check out and that’s why it wasn’t cleaned yet,. However, they offer us a late check too and took our luggage to the room when it was ready while we had dinner and explored the city. They give you a code to enter the room. The room was spacious and comfortable for our family (2 Adults + 2 Kids). It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms!!! The toilets were modern. It had a kitchen that we didn’t use. It also had a washing machine with a place to dry the clothes! This really save us! The location was great, right in the city’s heart. We arrived at Xian north and it has a direct metro line 2 (27 min). You also have the Muslim quarter from 1 metro station stop. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay longer.
