GGuest UserI stayed in an air-conditioned cabin without a private bathroom this time. It was cleaner than I expected. I'd recommend bringing a pair of flip-flops for the shared showers. Other amenities like toothbrushes and towels were disposable, which was great. Getting a taxi was difficult, but the host was incredibly thoughtful and came to pick us up. There was a bonfire party in the evening, and they set off fireworks like there was no tomorrow! Watching the stars and fireworks in the desert was absolutely beautiful!

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place! I’m writing this as a foreigner who went with 4 other foreigners for a special birthday weekend. First, the service. We have good Chinese proficiency, but those with limited to none will be fine. Most of the communication and coordination is handled via WeChat - which can auto translate. 东 “Dong” was our main contact. He rocked and gave us a real experience. He shuttled us in the sand jeep, gifted me a cake for my birthday, and was just an overall cool guy. Thanks! Second, the location and accommodations. If you stay near Desert Star, there’s a lot of people and campsites - that area seems like a bit of a tourist funnel. This area is located in the REAL sand dunes area. Further North, you actually cross into Inner Mongolia. The separation and distance is worth it. Makes for brighter stars and a more authentic experience. Third, the food. They were able to coordinate a whole lamb to be roasted for my birthday. It was absolutely extraordinary. The sides for it were some of the best I had on the entire trip - they have some skilled chefs there. This place has great reviews, and it’s worth it. I do recommend this to foreigners, and I hope I can return one day.

YYangguangtubaobaoThe hotel facilities are all brand new and in perfect condition. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners, and the air was fresh with no strange odors. The guest room was spacious, and the bedding was clean and soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The hot water came out quickly and at a stable temperature, and the bathroom area was dry and tidy. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's rest. The front desk staff were warm and polite, even giving us many boxes of Zhongwei硒砂瓜 to try. Check-in was very quick. The surrounding area is also quite convenient for getting around. As a new establishment, both the hardware and cleanliness are impeccable, offering great value for money. It's perfect for both leisure travel and short stays, highly recommended. I'll definitely choose this place again if I have the chance.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied with this trip! The hostess contacted us in advance, and her attitude was thoughtful and lovely. She informed us that the room might not be big enough and upgraded us, also asking if we'd like to order meals. Since our itinerary was quite tight, we didn't order food this time, but we should definitely try it next time.
The B&B's environment was a wonderful surprise, located amidst a large vineyard. A short bike ride away, the entire Helan Mountain range appears before your eyes. The restaurant also offers an unbeatable view. The tour of the winery was a nice addition too.
Overall, there's so much waiting for everyone to discover. I regret only booking for one day; a more leisurely stay would have been even better.

The Milky Way was breathtaking, and every photo you took looked like a masterpiece. The owner was welcoming, and the program was extensive. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserThe room was great! My kids loved playing in the sand right outside our terrace, and I could easily keep an eye on them. We had endless fun sandboarding. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the water pressure was perfectly fine. The room also featured a smart assistant for controlling the curtains. Our hydration needs in the desert were completely met, whether it was hot water for tea, 45-degree water for the kids' formula, or room-temperature water – all available at the touch of a button, making it super comfortable and convenient. The butler contacted us in advance with check-in information, and the pick-up/drop-off service was seamless and always available when needed. The restaurant and entertainment options were also good. Desert stargazing and educational activities kept the kids engaged. Plus, the scenic area was right next door. Overall, a really great experience!
