One of our ”best value” places in Alto Alentejo. Rooms are moden decor annd simple but spacious. Breakfast (included always!) is high quality and fresh and the indoor pool, Sauna and outdoor pool is big plus. Restaurants in town (Regata and Alpahoaense) are best in the area (and still cheap) Highly recommended even for a weekend trip

Het hotel was zo uitgenodigd om de tijd begin oktober 35 dek te bereiken. Het personeel was super efficiënt en de prijzen voor een laat check-out waren zeer redelijk. Het hotel is gelegen in de wandelingen van de stad met een ruime buitenparkeerplaats vlak buiten. Er wordt een verblijf hier zeer aanbevolen.

De mooie dame bij de receptie sprak uitstekend Engels en vertelde vol enthousiasme over de geschiedenis van het hotel. Het hotel is een renovatie van een oud gebouw uit de 17e eeuw. De kamers zijn ruim, maar er zijn te weinig stopcontacten. Om op te laden, kun je alleen de tv uit het stopcontact halen. De geluidsisolatie is niet zo goed en je hoort het geluid van voorbijrijdende auto's.

Please note that there are only 2 parking spaces (coordinates 39.393559, -7.376018) opposite the front desk, this parking space does not need to go up and down stairs for luggage and luggage. However, if the parking is full, you can only park at the other 8 parking spaces (coordinates 39.393512, -7.375692) near the R. do Embique road down the front slope. This parking space needs to go up and down stairs for luggage. Therefore, it is recommended to check in early. If the parking space you are using is not ideal, it does not matter. When checking out, you can put your luggage on the side of the front desk first, then drive the car over to load your luggage, and then leave. Although the road will be blocked during luggage loading, everyone is like this, it does not matter, other vehicles will wait patiently. The mountain city is basically a one-way street, it is best to ask the front desk to leave the route, so as not to go the wrong way. The 24-hour front desk staff are enthusiastic, professional and satisfied. The internal facilities of the room conform to the website introduction and are comfortable. There are waiters to clean the room, take out the garbage, change the towels and make the bed every day. Satisfaction. The hot water in the shower is good and worry-free. There are no slippers in the room, please bring your own. The view and service of the hotel restaurant are very good. The breakfast is rich and high quality. Dinner is exquisite. There are two lounges, very comfortable, don’t forget to enjoy them. If you live in the building opposite the restaurant, you can go back and forth through the arch bridge, which is of great significance in rainy days. I tried the Casa do Povo restaurant in the city. The local crock-pot lamb (with pictures, easy to order) is very delicious and highly recommended. It is recommended that Marvão exit the Porta Este De Marvão city gate and go down the hill to the ancient Roman road of Portagem via the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Estrela. The trail takes about 2 hours. Most of the trails are shaded. It goes down the road, and the birds and flowers are scented. The front desk provides free trail maps to Portagem under the mountain, recommends local restaurants and provides the phone number of the taxi driver on the return journey. If you can’t get in touch, the Portagem restaurant waiters also have their own familiar taxi drivers (the return journey is about 20 Euros, acceptable), don’t worry. I tried Hotel Sever Rio e Restaurante Sever by the Portagem River. Only the tomato soup is delicious and generous, so I can recommend it.

Hotel muito agradável , pelo que recomendo

Tudo excelente e o staff super atencioso e simpático, no entanto, muito poucos funcionários nos bares/restaurantes do hotel para tantos hóspedes. O serviço era lento.

Buen hotel. Buen desayuno, limpieza y buena habitacion, hotel amplio y confortable pero RECEPCIÓN FRIA Y CON POCO FEELING, NO SÉ SI EN GENERAL O SÓLO HACIA LOS ESPAÑOLES....TAMPOCO EN TELEVISIÓN HABÍA CADENAS ESPAÑOLAS SINTONIZADAS....ESTANDO A 10 KMS DE ESPAÑA.......

Las instalaciones como se esperaban. Colchón muy cómodo , desayuno rico y cantidad. A destacar el personal, muy serviciales y te ayudan en lo que necesites.

Óptimo local, boa localização,muito fácil de chegar ao centro a pé 5min. Carro só para ir até á Portagem,ou para ir visitar o Castelo de Marvão, ou ainda para ir até Espanha ( 8kms ).
