Stayed here with last min booking. My rooms was too hot that time so I just open the window.
For those whi want to stay here I suggest prepare small cabin lugggage instead of bring all the lugggae to the room if you got the 1st floor room. Because you need to use the stairs
Anyway this hotel has a pretty decoration for the Christmas
They dont provide any amenities. And you need to pay for it. As most of the Northern Europe hotel

Wanneer je verblijft bij Båtsfjord Hotell in Batsfjord bevind je je bij de zee, op 10 min. lopen van Kerk van Båtsfjord en Bezoekerscentrum van Båtsfjord.
Profiteer zoveel mogelijk van recreatieve voorzieningen, met onder meer een sauna, fitnessfaciliteiten en fietsenverhuur. Dit hotel bevat ook gratis wifi, een spelletjesruimte en een skiopslagruimte.
Bestel iets lekkers in het restaurant van dit hotel, waar je een bar/lounge hebt, of blijf in je kamer en profiteer van de roomservice (beperkte tijden). Feels budget, standard business type hotel, room does not have kettle and reception originally said there are none left, and to get hot water from the machine downstairs (bring it cup by cup) Until the wife made a reasonable but firm request to sort it, then reception went around other rooms and found us one. Parking is 150kr per day as of writing, even though there are plenty of space.
Don't think it is a 4 star as claimed, max 3.

Een goed en populair ketenhotel in Kirkenes. Het is een prima overnachtingsplek voor een reis. Goed ontbijt, veel fruit (ook al ligt het boven de poolcirkel). Er is een zwembad en een sauna.
Bij het inchecken zagen we echter wel de Trip.com-reservering, maar de betaling was niet direct zichtbaar. We moesten contact opnemen met de klantenservice, die alles heeft opgelost.

Das Hotel und die Ausstattung ist schon etwas älter, aber das ist wirklich kein Problem, denn:
Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten sind breit, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstücksbüffet ist groß und lecker!
Ein Restaurant gab es im Hotel nicht, aber fußläufig sind einige gut bewertete Restaurants erreichbar.
Der Parkplatz liegt hinter den Haus. Leider gibt es dort keinen Zugang zum Hotel und man muss das Haus umrunden um hinein zu kommen

GGuest UserWe saw the Northern Lights on our very first night, which took all the pressure off the rest of our trip – it was absolutely beautiful and magical! If you can only pick one hotel in Kirkenes, this is definitely it. It's the departure point for King Crab fishing tours, and many tourists even take a bus here just to join them.

CChan man wahThe hotel's location is great, and the rooms are generally clean. There's a supermarket right across the street, which is very convenient. However, the bedside lamp in my room was broken. The staff said they needed to wait for a repairman, but the next day they claimed they couldn't find one. They offered to move me to a downgraded standard room, which I, of course, refused. After that, there was no further follow-up. 😡 Also, too many tour groups stay here, so there was no seating available for breakfast, and I had to sit at the bar. 🙄

舒舒A local brand hotel chain hotel in the Arctic Circle. Overnight on the way to North Point. The room is small but clean and tidy, the breakfast is rich, the parking lot at the hotel entrance is paid, and the Northern Lights Cathedral is 80 meters away. The overall impression is good

JJAZS C P LENI am so glad to stay at Thon Hotel. All the staff are very friendly, breakfast is varied and delicious. The room is clean and tidy. Most importantly, my family saw the Northern Lights right in front of the hotel. Super excited! I will definitely stay at Thon Hotel again in the future.

GGuest UserGreat place to stay if you decided to head up to the northern cape. Also it is a 15 mins drive to a view point to see the northern light. Also a 10 mins drive to the town for food.
FYI: road to north cape will be closed if weather condition is bad, so cater more than 1 night here if you really want to go up to the north cape in winter.

Services are not the best as they don’t really have restaurant that you can just step in to eat. A rental car will be great to move from places to places to eat and explore.

MMel974The hotel is very well located, and it allows you not to take the car to go to a few courses or to the shopping centre.
The staff is warm and serviceable (particularly the restaurant's room manager who was present at 31/01 in the morning).
The breakfast is more than right !
The bedroom is very warm and the bathroom is warm !
The small bemol is a little heard of the room neighbors!
