The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the view was great, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The hotel's location is superb, offering convenient transportation, and the breakfast selection was extensive.

The location was a bit further than I expected. It took me about 10 minutes of walking from the nearest tram station, but my luggage were not too heavy so it's not a big problem to me. The price was also affordable and reasonable among most of the hotels I found in Amsterdam. Although it is a little far from central Amsterdam, it's not too complicated to go there using public transport, as you only need to get on one tram and one metro. The room was quite small, but the bed was super large for 2 people, and everything was so clean. I also received good service there even though it was a bit late (11.30pm).

The room having a microwave was a huge plus, very convenient for heating up quick meals. The room itself was actually quite spacious, though the bathroom was on the smaller side. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and friendly. But the absolute best part? They have an adorable orange cat you can pet! Cat lovers, this is your sign! The cat is very mellow and lets you pet him all you want. It's also quite convenient if you're taking the FlixBus, as it's only a 15-minute walk to the station. The hotel has two floors and no elevator, but it's manageable; if you have heavy luggage, you'll only ever have to carry it up one flight of stairs at most.

The hotel is 7 min walk to tram station and 50 min to Central.  The best part of the hotel was free parking and had a charging point.  The hotel rooms were spacious and super clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable.  Smooth check in process

I’m not sure if we were upgraded, but my family stayed on the 12th floor and the view was absolutely stunning. The room and overall space were wonderful—clean, spacious, and even more beautiful than we expected. My children loved it so much that they didn’t want to leave. Sitting on the sofa and looking out over the river, watching boats pass by, gave me a peaceful feeling that reminded me of my hometown. I hope to have even more memorable experiences the next time I stay at Mövenpick.

Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam actually has a whole honeycomb for breakfast! Their breakfast is truly amazing – a honeycomb, grapefruit, freshly made 'jianbing guozi' (a savory Chinese crepe), and the best omelets I've ever had. Definitely lives up to its reputation as a classic German hotel. Oh, and out of the four pillows, one is lavender-filled. It felt lumpy at first, and I thought it was a buckwheat pillow. I slept wonderfully. There were many Chinese and German guests, and a lot of flight attendants were also having breakfast there. There's a forest near the hotel, perfect for morning runs. However, the facilities are a bit old, and the toiletries feel like those in a budget hotel, all 2-in-1. It feels very ”family-friendly” and is surrounded by nature, making it a peaceful retreat. However, keep in mind its location if you plan on visiting the city center frequently. Location & Transport 🚌 Proximity: Conveniently located about 10 minutes from the airport. Shuttle: The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle bus to and from the airport with frequent departures. City Access: There is no direct transport to the city center. To get downtown, you must take the shuttle back to the airport and transfer to a train/bus, call a taxi, or take a local bus to a transit point. It can feel a bit isolated if you don't have a car. Parking 🚗 There is ample parking space available, but please note that it costs approximately €20 per day. Room Quality 🛌 The Good: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, the room quality is very satisfying. The Amenities: A bit minimal. They provide the basics (soap, shampoo, and lotion), but no shower caps or other extra vanity kits. You might want to bring your own. Service & Facilities 🍳 Staff: The front desk team is professional and helpful. Breakfast: A highlight! The breakfast spread is good, and the staff are very attentive—constantly clearing plates and keeping the tables clean. This is a pretty standard luxury hotel, with no major issues. There's a mini-fridge, but it's not cold enough and doesn't come stocked with anything. However, the umbrella is a high-end carbon fiber one, which is quite rare and a nice touch. The bathroom drain had a bit of a problem, probably a clog from hair that needs to be cleaned promptly. My biggest issue, though, was the front desk – they were incredibly slow! Especially during check-out. I've never seen a hotel where you have to wait in line one by one; usually, you just leave your room card and go.

There were some inconveniences, like the electricity not working at times and the shower door being incomplete, causing water to spill out. I was told there would be a hairdryer in the room, but there wasn't one. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful.

This foreign-owned hotel can be a bit challenging. They don't provide complimentary drinking water, but you can purchase it at the front desk. Remember to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, and slippers. The service staff are quite friendly. There's a free shuttle bus from the airport, and it's not far. A taxi would cost around 160-230 RMB.
