The room had double-layered curtains with sheer drapes, which was a very thoughtful touch. Even when the morning sunlight was bright, it didn’t feel harsh. The only pity was that we didn’t get to try the hotel breakfast this time—hopefully, we can enjoy it on my next visit.

"Nice Sea view and onsen. Great variety of seafood buffe and breakfast but taste was acceptable. There is hotel shuttle bus service but the last bus was before 6 pm. The JR station has no staff and does not have any escalator or elevator so beware that you need to carry luggage up and down the stairs. It's out of GO service area but there was taxi waiting in front of the station."

"We hebben heerlijk gegeten in het all-inclusive resort, genoten van drankjes en snacks in de lounge en hadden een ontspannen en aangenaam verblijf (tot 22.00 uur).
Omdat het Obon was,
begon het inchecken om 15.00 uur, maar om 14.15 uur stond er een enorme rij.
Toen we om 15.00 uur onze sleutels gingen ophalen, was onze kamer nog niet klaar, dus moesten we snel naar het zwembad. Het zwembad was klein en opvallend oud, maar de kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt.
We aten vroeg, dus zowel het diner als het ontbijt waren geweldig!
Niets om over te klagen.
De kamer had de sfeer van een ouderwets toeristenhotel,
en het was onmiskenbaar oud.
Het was een redelijke prijs, dus ik ben er blij mee!
Ik weet zeker dat ze in de toekomst veel gaan renoveren,
dus maak alsjeblieft de vloerbedekking in de kamers en gangen schoon,
en het behang in de kamers!
Ik wil er graag nog een keer naartoe als ik meer tijd heb!"

GGuest UserWhenever I'm in Nagoya, I stay at Keihan. The price here in Sendai was just right, and the location is super convenient. There are convenience stores and plenty of restaurants nearby, plus it's very close to the station. As for the room, there's enough space to open a suitcase, and pajamas are provided.

SSaqimaqiduoWhenever I travel around Japan, if there's a Daiwa Roynet Hotel near the station, I almost always choose it because it's truly excellent in every aspect.
It's a convenient 10-minute walk from Sendai Station's West Exit, making it super easy to get to attractions by public transport or on foot. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, which is great but can be tough for indecisive people like me.
The rooms are spacious, and the attention to detail is very thoughtful. Plus, the breakfast includes sashimi, which is a big bonus!
They also allow overnight luggage storage, which is another huge plus. I've done this before at the Daiwa Roynet in Takamatsu, and they're consistently excellent! Oh, but you do need to have another reservation with them afterwards for the luggage storage.

AAhmad MostafaReception at 5 pm was efficient and I didn’t have to wait. Street level provides access to two lifts that take you to the second floor reception area.
Wifi worked well and the air conditioning was good especially in the cold weather. Rooms are not huge but adequate size. I booked a larger room of which there are a few.
House keeping was also good, though guests need to request daily services by placing a card on the room door otherwise daily service is not provided. The two lifts can be slow especially during busy times such as morning checking out.
The location is good being about 15 minutes walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc. The hotel is five minutes walk to the covered main shopping mall-street which are common in Japan. There are major shopping malls in the central train station area.
There are also many nearby restaurants that should suit most people’s budget and type of food. Beef tongue is a specialty in Sendai and many restaurants offer it at various prices.
Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30 minutes of the hotel such as temples and museums.
Overall a pleasant stay and happy to visit again.

GGuest UserWe were two people during one night.
It’s a little bit far from the station. But there’s a bus stop close by that goes to the station (190 yen in 2026). What I really liked was that the hotel have bikes (with a basket) you can use for free, just ask the receptionen (I only used it once for one hour, but it was good).
The room was a bit spacious, clean and tidy. If you have a suitcase I think you can open it in the room. The bed and pillows were good. What I didn’t like was that they didn’t have hand soap or conditioner. They did have shampoo and body soap though.
The staff was nice and friendly. The amenity was good as well. They didn’t have face wash and face cream, like many other hotels have. But they had the other usual things, so I don’t complain.
When I booked this hotel on trip.com it said the check in is between 15-22, so I checked in before 22. But when I went to the reception 23, there were still people there, and they had a machine where it said check in and out. So maybe you can check in after 22? If you want to do that I would try to send a message or something and ask. Because it felt like it was ok to check in even after 22.
Overall I think we had a good and nice stay at this hotel.

GGuest UserI absolutely loved this chain hotel. It's conveniently located very close to the station, though I'd recommend using navigation for the most straightforward route. Upon exiting the station, the easiest way is to head up to the second floor, walk a short distance, cross the street, and then take the stairs down. The room was a good size, and the layout was very practical.

Ttinazhao888The hotel's location is excellent. The reception is on the 4th floor of the building, which also houses the Shinkansen and JR stations. Inside the building, you'll find plenty of dining options, a supermarket, and shops. The surrounding area is bustling with even more shopping malls. It's incredibly convenient on a rainy day, as you can spend half the day exploring without even stepping outside. It's also super easy for train travel; just go downstairs, and you're there, saving time on commuting and waiting. The breakfast is also quite diverse.

HHuisikaodemaoI booked a non-smoking single room, and smoking was allowed in the downstairs parking lot. The environment was great for a solo stay. For breakfast, you might have to queue depending on the number of diners and the time, but the mapo tofu is truly excellent and a must-have in the morning. It's very close to Sendai Station, with plenty of dining options nearby and many convenience stores.

I had actually left my luggage at the hotel before checking in. When I came back, my luggage was already waiting for me in my room. I was honestly so surprised by this service.
The room was very clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The room was compact, but the space was used very efficiently. There were two bottles of water provided, and there was storage space under the bed.
The location isn’t very close to a JR station, but it’s surrounded by restaurants, and shopping street. I really loved this hotel and would definitely stay at a Mitsui hotel again!

GGuest UserExcellent service, food was great (only had 1 dinner out of 2 nights) and location was perfect with lovely view to the bay :) Hotel room and amenities were abit dated.
Had booked the hotel 2 months ago n was surprised at the rates of about 70000 yen per night. Thought it was because of Sakura season and being a weekend. However during stay noted that rates were now 20000- 30000 yen a night! Inquired during check out about the huge discrepancy in price and all they said was it depends on the view :/ Felt I had been scammed :( For that reason I would give it 2 stars out of 5.

AAnonymous UserThe location is great although at first we went to the wrong side (at the East) as the hotel is actually located at the West. I was able to reach Sendai Jr Station within 10 minutes to catch the 1st train of Shinkansen to Akita. Not to mention the great breakfast, which features Sendai’s locally famous foods complete with explanatory notes. I also like the complete in-room amenities, which even include bath salts for the tub.
