Omdat we buiten het toeristenseizoen waren en in een extreem warme periode konden we profiteren van het zwembad, geweldig aan de oevers van de Mekong. Het is eigenlijk niet ver van de hoofdstraat van Pakbeng. We konden zelfs de olifanten aan de overkant zien baden. Als je lang genoeg blijft, ga dan wat tijd doorbrengen in Mekong Elephant Park, het is een prachtig project."

К сожалению, никакого праздничного мероприятия в отеле не проводилось, это слегка огорчило, потому что в деревне делать абсолютно нечего. "一人旅をしていてパークベンで一泊するにはちょうどいいと思います。ベットは清潔で飲み物やシャンプー、ボディーソープそしてトイレットペーパーまでくれました。しかし、ドミトリーに泊まっている人のシャワーとトイレは同じ個室にあり、少し不便でした。 あとエアコンも無かったです！けど大きい扇風機が何台かあってそれで結構十分なぐらい涼しかったです。 あ、あと私がドライヤーを忘れてしまったのですがスタッフの方に言ったら快く貸してくれました。ありがとうございました！"
