Stayed in the Dukes Head hotel- Kings Lynn to meet with friends the day before a wedding. The hotel itself is located well in the centre of town and on first look in good condition around the outside and the lobby. Our room on the other hand was not great. The shower was leaking, the floor not cleaned. The worst of it was being placed next to the lift, the noise was ridiculous, like having a tv on full volume all throughout the night. I noted this to reception and no apologies or acknowledgement to the issue seemed to sync in. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all.

Amazing weekend getaway in a lovely location. Lovely room, nice dinner, helpful staff. Few negatives - old TV - no Netflix, no tea/coffee/kettle provided in the rooms, room telephone does not work so difficult to reach reception (long wait on direct number from mobile) we ended up walking down to reception to speak to someone. Overall a great experience and will likely return.

Wanneer je verblijft bij The Olde Windmill Inn in Thetford bevind je je op 10 min. rijden van Swaffham Leisure Centre en Richmond Park-golfclub. Dit pension ligt op 8,1 km van Watton-klokkentoren en op 8,5 km van Swaffham Museum. De accommodatie heeft een tuin waar je van het uitzicht kunt genieten, maar profiteer ook van gratis wifi en een spelletjesruimte. Profiteer in dit herberg van de roomservice (beperkte tijden). Maak kennis met andere gasten tijdens een gratis receptie, dagelijks aangeboden. Ontspan met een lekker fris drankje in één van de 3 bars/lounges. Badkamers hebben een bad/douchecombinatie en haardrogers. Bij de voorzieningen horen een bureau en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en de kamers worden dagelijks schoongemaakt.

Service was good Lighting in the room was not good - when you enter a room you expect a light switch to be near the door instead of having to go to the light switches half way into the room next to the bed, even the receptionist was baffled. To get a light on near to the door entrance you have to turn the bathroom light on !!! A socket to the left hand side of the window is fitted sideways !!! The sockets to the right hand side of the dressing table should not be one on top of the other Lots of condensation on the windows therefore dripping due to the aluminium frames

A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it. We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads. We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef. A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar! All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted. A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return! Thank you Mike and team for your exceptional service. What a wonderful experience we had. Mark & Gail We

Het hotel is honderden jaar geschiedenis en je zult ontbijten en een historisch gevoel vinden. De andere kerk kan naar de Daguada gaan, honderden jaren geschiedenis. De hele stad is honderden jaren oude gebouwen en er is tijd om te gaan om te gaan. Er zijn Chinese restaurants in de buurt, tien minuten lopen.

We lived one night in a king bed room 416, there was no heater available, only air conditioner, but the air-con wasn't working for heating function for the whole night since we entered the room, the wind came out are all CLOD! It was freezing all night compared the temperature was only 2 degree that day. The experience was terrible.

Beautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok. The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel. We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers. Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself. We look forward to going back.

We stayed in the king suite and amazing experience, so much room and the room was so clean, because of the air con it was so cooling which was amazing because of the heat. No complains even free drinks I’m mini fridge. Only issue was payment because I did mine through a travel agent and got a bit confusing but in the end solved itself but service was amazing throughout loved it!

Everythihg as it should be. Charming helpful staff. Delightful hospitable rooms and bar downstairs. Everywhere very clean and tidy. Rooms was perfect. Warm, clean, lovely bed, linen and towels Everything worked, good Tv, lighting, bath, shower, basin. Nice toiletries and refreshments. Everything sustainable.
