"I have stayed at The Pullman before and had no issues, however this time we were not overly impressed.
I paid for a king room, but when it came to the evening we soon discovered we had been placed in a room with a zip lock bed which had not been connected, causing there to be an uncomfortable and noticeable gap between the 2 singles. There was also dried blood on the sheets.
We spoke to reception and we were offered an alternative room with a king sized bed.
Unfortunately, the room we were placed in was directly above the arena where a rave was taking place meaning the bass reverberated around the whole room until approx 11pm.
We had been out for a meal on the docks, and upon returning to the hotel we were met with rave goers slumped in the doorway, and a guy urinating outside one of the entrances, as well as groups fighting directly outside and gathering in the hotel bar/foyer.
Not a great experience at all!"

"My partner and i have just returned from a 3 night stay over Easter Bank holiday weekend with our french bulldog skyler. This is a brilliant hotel, lovely and clean, staff were very helpful and very accommodating. breakfast was lovely. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. I would definitely return next time we visit southport. Thanks to all the royal clifton staff that made our short break amazing"

"Hotel was a little run down and the rooms were only to be expected for being around 150+ year old hotel, the bathroom was a little updated and pleasant. The lifts were very bad and non responsive, had to walk down the stairs which is not ideal if we had mobility issues, the breakfast was, Well let's just say Avoid!!
Customer service was a little bit patronising to say the least.
All in all probably a 3/10 if being kind."

"I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Ibis Styles Liverpool, and a huge part of that was thanks to Fayne, who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional.
We arrived four hours before check-in to drop off our luggage, but Fayne kindly checked us in early—completely free of charge. This thoughtful gesture made such a difference after a long journey. On the day we checked out, she allowed us to store our luggage for longer so we could explore the city until our train time. When we returned to collect it, Fayne even offered us complimentary tea and coffee, which was such a kind and welcoming touch.
The hotel itself was clean, stylish, and comfortable, but the staff, especially Fayne, truly made our stay memorable. Her warmth and helpfulness set a high standard for hospitality. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool!"

"Really nice hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a twin cabin room (no others available)basic but comfortable and very clean, warm, TV, complimentary tea and coffee. A phone for room service if required.
The breakfast was a buffet with everything you could possibly want to start you off for the day.
We had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening which was really lovely with again great staff.
Hotel is close to Liverpool lime street train station.
Though it didn't upset our stay there was a party Friday and Saturday night that was very loud and went on till 1am

"We recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Liverpool and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is nicely situated right on the wharf, which gave us some lovely views of the water directly from our room — a real highlight of the stay.
The location is peaceful and scenic, and it’s great for adults who enjoy walking by the waterfront or exploring some of the historical areas nearby. There are a few interesting spots to tour around the wharf, but we found that there wasn’t a lot in the way of activities for kids, so families with young children might find it a bit limited in that regard.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with a calm atmosphere and easy access to the main parts of Liverpool. If you're looking for a quiet spot with nice views and don’t need too much kid-focused entertainment, it’s a solid choice."

AAnonymous UserI stayed at the Pullman Liverpool Hotel for one night as a last-minute booking after reading several reviews and watching a few TikTok videos—and I’m glad I did.
On arrival, I was greeted warmly, checked in quickly, and made my way up to my room without any hassle. I had emailed ahead requesting a nice view as it was my first time in Liverpool. I was placed on the 8th floor, which was great, but unfortunately my view overlooked the roof of another building. I did ask if this could be changed, but the hotel was fully booked due to the Easter break, which I completely understood.
The room itself was comfortable and overall made for a pleasant stay. The location is a big plus—just a short walk to the Liverpool Museum, bars, restaurants, the wheel, and plenty of shops for a bit of retail therapy.
Parking is quite expensive, but the hotel does stamp your ticket which gives you a discount. I checked in at 3:30pm, checked out at 12, and paid £18 for parking—without the discount, it could easily cost 5–8 times more.
Now for the negatives: cleanliness could definitely be improved. I met some of the cleaners when checking out—lovely, friendly staff—but the room needed more attention. There was dust on surfaces, hair on the tissue container, only two tissues left, the bathroom and mirrors weren’t cleaned thoroughly, and the shower gel hadn’t been refilled, so after a few pumps there was none left.
Overall, despite the cleaning issues, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Just wrapped up a fantastic two-night stay at Phoenix Hotel Liverpool and wanted to share my thoughts! At £126.90 plus a small £4.80 property fee, it offered excellent value for a city center experience.
The location at 46-48 Foley Street puts you right in the heart of Liverpool, which was perfect for my mini-break. Being centrally located meant I could easily walk to major attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas without relying on transportation. The vibrant city atmosphere was right on my doorstep!
I stayed from **Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2025** — a perfect two-night city escape. Check-in after 3 PM was smooth and welcoming, and the 11 AM check-out time was standard and convenient. The staff were helpful and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived.
The hotel itself (which I could see in the booking thumbnail) had a classic Liverpool charm about it. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed for a pleasant stay. While not ultra-luxurious, it was well-maintained and provided a cozy base for exploring the city.
What I appreciated was the **transparent pricing** — I knew exactly what I was paying upfront (£126.90) and what I'd need to pay at the property (just £4.80). The Trip.com booking process was straightforward, and having their price match and stay guarantee gave me extra confidence in my booking.
The app's ”Message Property” and ”Call Property” features came in handy when I needed some local recommendations. The ”Manage Booking” function made it easy to keep all my travel details organized in one place.
Is it a five-star luxury hotel? No, but it doesn't claim to be. Phoenix Hotel Liverpool delivers exactly what it promises: a comfortable, well-located place to stay at a reasonable price point that lets you experience the best of Liverpool without breaking the bank.
**Would I recommend it?** Absolutely! If you're looking for a centrally located hotel in Liverpool with good amenities and friendly service, this place ticks all the boxes. Perfect for weekend city breaks, concert-goers, or anyone wanting to soak up Liverpool's vibrant atmosphere.

GGuest UserBooked for Haydock Races however the race day got cancelled unfortunately. We were a group of 10 and still went to the hotel. We went into Newton Le Willow had drinks and a curry. Hotel is nice however looking tired. Towel rail was on roasting all day/night which made the bathroom far too hot. Otherwise a nice room.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at The Adelphi and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the train station was incredibly convenient for getting around. The convenience of having bar on-site was a definite plus.
However, one significant drawback was the absence of refrigerators in the rooms. This was quite inconvenient, as it meant I couldn't store any perishable items or keep drinks cold for later, even with the bar downstairs. In today's world, having a fridge in a hotel room is almost an expectation, and its absence was definitely felt.
Despite this, I would still recommend The Adelphi for its other positive aspects, convenient amenities, and easy access to transportation. I hope the management considers adding refrigerators to their rooms in the future, as it would greatly enhance the guest experience.

GGuest UserThe hotel was ideally situated where we didn't have to walk far to the venues which were approx 6-10 minutes walk.
The hotel has a large underground car park that kept our car safe and secure, not many hotels have a bar and seating for guests which we thought was convenient, the room was modern, very clean and loved the high pressure shower that is adjustable, breakfast was lovely we prefer a full English with all the trimmings, though there is the continental option and as it was a buffet we ate as much as we pleased.
Lots of things to do and see in Liverpool and a large shopping centre that we discovered on our way back from the Cavern club and eateries on the dock side
All in all a brilliant first stay in this hotel and 2nd time in Liverpool...oh and a shout out to the receptionist who helped me with our parking, very patient.
We are planning our next stay at this hotel for the near future.

AAnonymous UserRoom was smaller than expected as it looked bigger online however this wasn’t an issue as we only needed a bed and bathroom for the night. The bathroom was very clean and spacious.
There was no iron in the room but a laundry room was directed to us downstairs in the basement which was helpful.
The only disadvantage I faced during my stay was disturbance from other occupants of my floor coming back after a night out. I could hear laughing, talking and doors slamming. If you’re a light sleeper then I would not recommend!
Despite that, the service and customer service was fab and I couldn’t not fault it. Thank you for having us!

Staff 10/10 so helpful and very good customer services skills.. cleanliness was top notch, the breakfast was plentiful, the mattress in the bed room was actually one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I have stayed on and I was thinking we would get a lovely nights rest before our festival but on to the bad points. we had the worst nights sleep of our lives our room was facing the road. Now this road is busy throughout the whole of the night. It is non stop, you can hear every car, every lorry, every motor bike, every horn every engine zooming past all throughout the whole night ! We barely slept a wink !! We was shattered the next day. We told the staff the manager said to go through the app we booked on and we can get 20% back as they would of gave us a free breakfast for our trouble but we had already bought one . The manager and receptionist were so lovely. They do know this is an issue and have been trying to get something implemented from the company to resolve this issue as it’s not just us who have complained about this .. and unfortunately I would not stay here again until the issue is resolved and they got the triple glazing windows to reduce noise otherwise I would much rather book another hotel without the noise issues so I could get a good nights rest ..

GGuest UserThe Crowne Plaza Liverpool Airport was clean throughout, very comfortable bedrooms (We had a double bed in one room 003 and 2 doubles in another 049). Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food: We had food in the restaurant area on the first night. 2 of us opted for the tuna and one for the ribeye steak. The steak was beautiful. The tuna had to go back for extra cooking as they were both still swimming. Apparently there was an ‘agency chef’ in the kitchen. Tuna was very tasty when we got it back.
We would all definitely stay again the next time we visit Liverpool.

I travelled with my 11 year old grandson, I booked us a twin room, which we got. Unfortunately, the room was an adjoining room to a double and the ”activity” noises from the other room were so bad that we checked out at 11pm as I didn't want my grandson to have to experience that. It literally sounded like they were in the room with us. I would perhaps suggest that in the future you look at your guest list and unless adjoining rooms are with the same party, where children are in a twin, look to accommodate the couple in another part of the hotel where possible.
I was disappointed that we were expected to pay £5 each to use the pool as I have never stayed at an hotel where it is not included in the room price.

All the staff were really friendly and helped as much as they could. The night Duty Manager was especially helpful and empathetic to my room dilemma but was unable to find us an alternative twin room, only a double which was not appropriate for us.
We ate in the bar and the food was exceptional although a little pricey.
The location was good and the hotel was easy to find. Be careful when you leave as there are two speed bumps on the exit, and no matter how slow you are going, it feels and sounds like your cars insides are dropping out.
Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.
