The location is superb, walkable distance to Darul Hana bridge, India Street, Carpenter Street and Borneo Cultures Museum. Plaza Merdeka is right beside the hotel, you can go to the mall through hotel lobby. I love how comfy the bed is and receptionist is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. It is clean, fresh, and pleasantly scented. The room is spacious, and the bed sheets, pillows, and mattress are very comfortable and well maintained. The bathroom amenities are complete, and the water pressure is good. The facilities, including the swimming pool and gym, are also well maintained. The hotel is conveniently located next to a mall, which is perfect for shopping, and there are many great dining options nearby. Area for improvement: The hairdryer is quite small and not very powerful, so it takes a long time to dry long hair.

The hotel provides great basic amenities for me to have a comfortable stay. The location is great, only 2-min walk to the cat statue and then can continue walking along the waterfront. The breakfast buffet spread also decent, i love their fried rice and fresh pineapple and orange juice. The staff also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great service!

As the first person to write a review, I have to praise this hotel. It was my first business trip to Kuching, and this hotel suddenly appeared on the 18th. There were no reviews, which made me worried I might have a bad experience. I checked online and found it was part of the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) group, and it was a renovated older hotel. After checking in, I felt it was incredibly good value for the price. The hotel's decor was grand and unique, with a youthful and stylish design. Many corners featured thoughtfully placed furniture and artwork. The facilities were excellent. Because the hotel is new, every corner of the room was spotless. As someone who travels frequently for business, I'm very particular about hotel cleanliness, and this hotel truly didn't disappoint. The front desk staff were very polite and welcoming. The bedding was very comfortable and soft, and I slept very well. The bathrobes were also of high quality, the towels were clean, and the toiletries smelled wonderful. The breakfast was plentiful with many choices, and I heard the dinner was also good. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Before this, I was torn between two other five-star hotels in Kuching, but after this comparison, I won't have to worry about choosing another one. Voco just opened on June 18th, and I still feel a slight smell of renovation. It gets better after turning on the air conditioning and ventilating. If you mind the smell of renovation, you can move in after September; I think the smell should dissipate by then. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the airport, and it's also about a 10-minute walk to popular spots like the Seaside Plaza. The location is very convenient. If I come here for business again, I will definitely choose this place without hesitation.

De kamer is ok en schoon, de prijs is redelijk, maar er is geen keuze voor het ontbijt, de prijs komt niet overeen met het aangeboden menu, het is te duur. En voor de betaling van het ontbijt voor de kinderen is het het verstrekte eten niet waard, er is geen keuze voor het ontbijt...

(1) Facebook Messenger Admin is iets minder gevoelig om binnen een snel tijdsbestek op vragen van klanten te reageren. Vraag vandaag, antwoord morgen. (2) De liftknop (aan de zijkant) voor gehandicapten werkt niet. (3) Er is geen vloerdroger voor gebruik in het zwembad. (4) De koks zijn iets minder vriendelijk dan de receptionisten van Kenyalang Restaurant. (5) De toegangsdeuren tot het zwembad zijn een beetje verwarrend en sommige zijn op slot. (6) Geslachtssegregatie bij het zwembad wordt niet afgedwongen, zoals aangegeven op de bewegwijzering. (7) De kamerspiegel is niet getint, een beetje vies, maar er zijn scha**** gordijnen voor privacy. (8) Het waterafvoergat in kamer 542 is enigszins verstopt en zorgt ervoor dat het water elke keer dat ik doucht, stagneert. (9) Doucheleidingen zijn niet gebruiksvriendelijk en moeten gerepareerd worden voor een soepel gebruik. (10) De gastvrijheid van de receptionisten, de snelheid van het personeel dat spullen naar de kamer brengt, verdient lof.

Both left and right are surrounded by either pub or karaoke lounge. Not recommended if need a peaceful stay & good night sleep. However, it has good basement car parks to ensure safety parking. Hopefully the hotel will do better sound proof to all windows especially all superior rooms.

Pro: Room is very spacious, comfy beds, strong water pressure, comes with bathtub & toilet amenities, bathrobe & clean towels, diff TV channels available, stable WiFi. Good location with ample car parks available. Swimming pool is great, kids love it! Con: Not sparkly clean, just fine, pillows have stains if covers are removed, car park elevators & hotel room elevators are separated, AC just okay, not that cold, external windows are dirty, kinda run down a little bit, still have rooms for improvement as an “upscale/premium” hotel chain.

Very strategic location! Cozy room and comfortable bed as usual! So good to be back again.
