"1. Het hotel biedt ophaal- en wegbrengdiensten naar Hanamaki en Shin-Hanamaki. Er rijden elke dag meerdere bussen, waardoor het erg handig is om heen en weer te reizen. Het kan worden gebruikt als het centrum van het Hanamaki-toerisme. 2. Osawa Hot Spring was destijds erg populair bij Kenji Miyazawa. Het heeft een goed bewaard gebleven oud huis met eigen kookgelegenheid en een gemengde warmwaterbron. De catering is ook genereus en zuinig. Het diner in het hotel begint bij 5.500 yen per persoon en ik voel me erg vol. Er zijn twee eigen badkamers in het hotel. Eén daarvan kan worden gedeeld door gasten op de zelfstandige afdeling. Er zijn veel mensen en de andere is exclusief voor het hotel en er zijn minder mensen maar er is geen openluchtbad. De privékamers met warmwaterbronnen van het hotel zijn op basis van wie het eerst komt, het eerst maalt, dus u kunt ze gebruiken als u niemand in de buurt ziet. 3. Het hele hotel is vol geschiedenis en erg rustig. Je hoort eigenlijk alleen het geluid van de Fengze-rivier ernaast. Het is zeer geschikt om uit te rusten en je kunt ook een korte wandeling in de buurt maken. We verbleven 3 nachten, we waren slechts een Chinese familie."

"We were two people staying 3 nights. We had breakfast and we were very happy with it (6:30-10:00, L.O 9:30). It didn’t change much during the stay, but it had a lot of options and it tasted good. The room was small. If you have suitcase it will be hard to open it up. We didn’t have suitcases, so for us it was no problem. The bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a manga library and coffe machine (15:00-22:00), and space with tables and chairs where you can e.g eat. They have laundry as well (10:00-22:00). It was cheep (washing 400 yen 30 min, dryer 100 yen 10 min). It was a standing washing machine (which I don’t really like) and we had a lot of laundry, so we went to another coin laundry 1 min walk from the hotel, which was good (washing 15 kg 30 min 800 yen, drying 10 min 100 yen). We didn’t use room cleaning, but every day we got a bag of towels on our door knob. It is around 10-15 min walk to the station. But it’s close to shopping streets and Iwaki park. It has a lot of restaurants close by. If you like all-you-can-drink there’s a lot of options close by as well. After check out we left our baggage for a couple of hours. It was no problem. The people at the hotel were very nice and polite. Overall we had a very nice stay at this hotel."

"This is a highly recommended and convenient hotel right in Morioka. The location is perfect: it's situated directly across from the train station, easily accessible via the underground walkway. It's also near Kaiunbashi, one of Morioka's signature spots, offering a great scenic view. For ultimate convenience, there's a 7-Eleven located right on the ground floor of the hotel. Beyond the location, the staff are very nice and incredibly helpful. The lobby provides an impressive array of amenities, more generous than many hotels I've visited. The room size is comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious, meeting the excellent standards of the Daiwa Roynet brand."

"This is the best ever hotel I have ever been to in Japan. The name Richmond guarantees so many things. You can count on it. Even though it’s not in a big city like Tokyo or Osaka, but if you are visiting Morioka - choose this hotel. It worth every penny of yours. The staffs are so helpful, dedicated and dependable at anytime and any situation you need. All staffs say that their English are not good, but I who lived in London for many years would say that their skill is more than just okay. Even the housekeepers are still nice. I have some problems with my luggage transfers to the airport from the hotel and they are trying their best to help me alleviate those. There is a free service lounge from noon to 8pm in the 2nd floor. The microwave oven and ice machine on the 7th floor. The coin washing machine is also located on the 7th floor - 500 yens for wash and dry. Convenient store(Lawson) is on the ground floor with direct access from the lobby. I’ve stayed on the 9th floor. The room is big and the view of the station was fabulous. Free WiFi is available. And the TV system communicates with all the system of the hotel shows all the information you need - even the time left of the coin washing machine that you used. Yakiniku and many delicious restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. Definitely will stay here again anytime I visit Morioka."

"well mantained old style onsen ryokan. both breakfsst and dinner are good! the night ramen is super delicious. And a very plus point, there are extra toilets on each floor, that is super convenient when needed"

"This hotel just opened, so it's very new and super close to the station. Plus, if you walk another 5 minutes, there's a 24-hour Aeon supermarket, which is incredibly convenient. They also have a free public bath and lounge open until 1 AM! It was so good that I booked another night for my return trip!"

"The best hotel in my 11 days trip in Japan North East! The food is the best amongst others hotel and also the service. The staff could hear my chop stick dropping on the floor and bring another one to me. Also, they helped me to clean the snow on my car before leaving! It’s a very good experience and highly recommend to visit there."

"入住日期：2025/11/03 我實在很慶幸最後我還是訂了這家「花卷溫泉紅葉館」，本來想要小資旅行，省去溫泉飯店，後來在網上看到「來花卷必住的飯店」，甚至晚餐還有蟹腳吃到飽，重點是：三館的溫泉都可以任你泡！！太吸引人了吧～～😍😍立馬不猶豫了，實際入住後，真的太喜歡～園區非常漂亮（還有大花園、神社）有規模之外，人員都非常和藹可親，包含在停車場指揮的爺爺，親和力都一百分，日式房間舒適寬敞，浴衣好美～窗外就是漂亮的美景，所有溫泉都泡過一遍甚至白天又繼續泡😂😂晚餐把費除了蟹腳還有現煎牛排，各種鍋物及鐵板料理，太多啦～～實在超推薦👍👍👍花卷必住溫泉飯店實至名歸🥰🥰"

"The best ski in and ski out and Onsen hotel in Japan so far! We loved the hotel so much in Oct 2025 so we rebooked and came again from Dec 20-24, 2025. 1. Very convenient for ski experience. Ski in and ski out. Ski rental and ski coach school are just besides hotel. Good experience for rentals and coaches hiring. 2. Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and so yummy! The food does change every night to give you diversified variation to choose from. Very delicate food preparations by great chefs so don’t worry you will never get bored. 3. Onsen is also great great great! Great view and women and men get alternate the hot spring pool everyday. 4. First floor relaxing area is great great! You have self service bar of juice / soda / coffee and popsicles. 5. The hotel staffs are so nice and make you feel at home. Motoyo-San is extremely friendly and her English is so fluent!!! We were very lucky to have her help out during our stay. 6. 3rd floor is newly renovated so pls try this beautiful room next time! Highly recommend!!!! Great for family and couple trips!"
