We stayed at Sofitel Xining for a total of four nights, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are modern and spacious, and the facilities (pool, gym, executive lounge) are world-class — but what truly made the difference was the incredible hospitality.
A very special thank you to Lucy and Mia at the front desk. Their warm welcome, kindness, and proactive support made us feel genuinely cared for. They went above and beyond to help us during our stay — from arranging transportation to providing great local recommendations. Their professionalism combined with their friendliness made every interaction a pleasure.
We also want to thank Jenny, the Staff Manager, for her attention to detail and personal care. She checked on us several times to make sure everything was perfect, and we felt truly valued as guests.
It’s rare to experience this level of service — we felt more like friends than hotel guests.
Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Xining.

We had a fantastic stay with my family at this hotel. We got 2 rooms and at check in time, they upgraded us for free to better rooms with views of Qinghai lake from our balcony! The hotel and rooms were spacious, spotless and in excellent condition. The hotel is quite new (opened in 2023). About 3-4 mins drive from the main Qinghai lake scenic spot so fantastic location.
The hotel is surrounded by mountains which have a lot of sheep , Yak, goats etc grazing on them. So you get both the mountain feeling as well as the lake feeling and it really helps soothe the soul and make one feel relaxed.
The service of the hotel staff was always excellent, warm and attentive.
The food was delicious and halal!!! We were so happy about this as we could enjoy delicious Qinghai cuisine worry free :-).
Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back to this hotel on our future trip to Qinghai lake.

De kamer is schoon en netjes, vlakbij het hogesnelheidstreinstation, en het busstation is beneden, dus het is handig om de bus naar Ta'er Temple te nemen. Nadelen: 1. Er is een probleem met de verbinding tussen de klantenservice en de receptie. Er hangt geen bordje met het internetwachtwoord, tv-gebruik en interne telefoonnummer in onze kamer. De receptioniste bij de receptie was niet erg enthousiast. 3. De bediening in het restaurant was niet erg enthousiast. Tijdens de maaltijd staarde een dertigjarige man in een shirt met korte mouwen en ronde hals iedereen aan als een supervisor die het eten serveert. Toen ik hem vertelde dat de selderij te oud was en helemaal niet meer te eten, vond hij dat zonde; hij keek wezenloos en negeerde de gasten.

It is a nice and clean hotel. The service pretty great, they show their hospitality. However, there is only thing need to improve is the elevator. There is only one elevator in used, and another on is out of order for some reason. We need to waiting there for like 10 min to get on the elevator.
Overall, it is nice and clean hotel. If you want go to CAKA for next day. It is a good option -they are only ten min drive from hotel to CAKA.

Dit is het startpunt van onze Qinghai-Gansu Loop Line. Het hotel ligt op een zeer goede locatie, op het centrale plein van Xining, en de hoge gebouwen zijn van een afstand te zien. Het hotel is stijlvol en licht, de kamers zijn groot, de faciliteiten zijn compleet en gemakkelijk te gebruiken en de bedden zijn zeer comfortabel. Het ontbijt in het hotel is zeer uitgebreid. Er is een grote ondergrondse parkeergarage, wat erg handig is. De hotelservice is ook erg goed. De receptie is enthousiast en bezorgt speciale yoghurtsnacks op de kamer. Als je iets nodig hebt, bel dan het klantenservicenummer en ze reageren snel. Het hotel verdient 5 sterren en is zeer tevreden over het hotel. Het buffet van het hotel is uitstekend en er zijn kortingen voor hotelgasten. Ik raad het ten zeerste aan.

I always stay at Hampton by Hilton, and I truly recommend this hotel! The room hygiene is impeccable, and the living environment is very comfortable. The Serta mattress provides great support, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. The breakfast offers excellent value for money, with a wide variety of dishes. The signature energizing chicken soup is rich and flavorful, making breakfast an extra pleasant experience. You can't go wrong choosing this place for your travels. The staff are also very attentive; they noticed it was my birthday and even prepared a fruit platter, which was incredibly thoughtful. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit!

在這個價格能住到這樣的酒店，真的很好了，在其他地方這樣的酒店可能都200多塊錢了，酒店裡麪非常的乾淨，一次性用品也非常齊全，還有一個一次性的刮鬍刀真的太讚了，早上出門的時候，前台小姐姐還送了兩個小禮包。這趟旅程也非常的愉快！

Xiaofens service was echt geweldig. Ze belde van tevoren om te vragen of ik speciale verzoeken had. Toen ik bij het hotel aankwam, stond ze al bij de deur te wachten. Ze nam me mee om in te checken en stuurde me naar de kamer. Ze vertelde me onderweg hoe ik de faciliteiten van het hotel kon gebruiken en gaf me een fruitmand toen ik in de kamer aankwam. De airconditioning was aangezet en op een comfortabele temperatuur gezet. De suite is groot met een keuken en wasmachine. De badkamer is gescheiden in natte en droge gedeeltes en is erg schoon. Het zwembad heeft droge en natte sauna's. De sportschool is goed uitgerust en er zijn veel Noordwestelijke lekkernijen voor het ontbijt.

GGuest UserThis was by far the best hotel I stayed at in Xining! The location is super convenient, with plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby. The room decor is simple yet stylish, and it was incredibly clean. The bedding was comfortable, the underfloor heating was excellent, and the soundproofing was great, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep even at high altitude. The front desk staff were patient and friendly, making check-in quick and efficient. They were also very thoughtful with luggage storage and late checkout. Overall, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable with great service and amazing value for money. I highly recommend Yicai Qinghang for anyone visiting Xining!

AAnonymous UserStaying at the Boway Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant odors. The facilities were well-maintained, and both the air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly. The staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and even proactively offered local sightseeing tips. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThe location is wonderful if you need the train, as it is literally just outside the train station, less than 10 minutes' walking from your train.
We needed the day room to rest between the morning and evening trains, and it works well for us. However, there are some issues we did not like. 1. We booked and paid through Trip, but at the receipton (we checked in early, which was great!) the receiptionst requested 100 rmb, which he said was a deposit that must be paid on the spot, and will be refunded in the morning. This was suspicious to us because nothing of this sort was stated on Trip, and no other bookings in China we made through Trip ever required any deposits, even less so in cash. When I showed him the original booking and payment, and insisted that we are only taking the room for the day, he stopped insisting on the ”deposit.”
2. The room used to be very nice, indeed, and preserves some of that niceness still: the bed is wonderful, with crispy linen, multiple different pillows, and very clean. the bathroom is nicely decorated and contained basic amenities, and the storage space is wonderful and spacious. However, like in some other Chinese hotels we stayed, the indicators of maintenance are the shower and the carpeting. In this room, the bed is super clean, but the bathroom and carpeting are either poorly cleaned, or not at all. We found hair and even a wrapping in the shower, while the carpeting in the room, elevator, and corridors was not cleaned in a long time. And yet, there are some such nice touches in this room, like the living creeper placed in a small vase in the bathroom, or the very nice wardrobe. The room is currently missing a fridge (although there is space for it), and it has not AC, although the corridors are cooled well. Instead, there is a fan, which in the afternoon heat barely helped.

I booked this hotel because it was close to the Provincial People's Hospital, where I had some business. I got the largest room. After registering my phone number at the front desk, I could use a WeChat mini-program to open the door and even control the room lights. Everyone says hotels in Xining don't have air conditioning, but this one actually does – good foresight, I guess! The front desk service was excellent. I asked for recommendations for places to visit, and after work, I walked to the nearby Xiaguan Night Market. It was within walking distance, and I ate so much I was stuffed when I got back. I've already saved this hotel on my phone's map for future reference.

MM318961****The price was affordable when I checked in, and the room was clean and tidy. I stayed for three nights, and the housekeeping staff cleaned the room thoroughly. Although the room was small, it was adequate overall. The hotel's decor was quite nice, and it was very close to the food street. The front desk staff were friendly. The only drawback was that the toilet area in the bathroom was small, and the toilet seat could not be fully tilted back. When men urinated, the toilet seat would often fall down, making it easy to urinate on the toilet, which was not very hygienic and affected subsequent use. I suggest the hotel find a way to improve this!

MMoz CSI had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining—you'll be in good hands here.
我在这家酒店住得非常愉快，最主要的原因是这里的服务人员实在太棒了。酒店的位置很好，离东关大清真寺和下南关街都很近，那边非常适合买吃的，晚上也有热闹的街头小吃。酒店的设计带点复古的怀旧风格，不是那种很浮夸的类型，但非常干净舒适，我完全没有任何不满意的地方。酒店还有自己的私人停车场，对于自驾的客人来说非常方便。真正让这次住宿变得特别的是他们的服务。我当时高原反应挺严重的，结果完全不用我开口，前台的工作人员看到我的状况后，主动送来了药、酸奶和一瓶氧气到我的房间。这种细心和关怀真的让人很感动。晚上我的房间有点太暖，尽管已经很晚了，夜班的工作人员还是很乐意帮我换了房间，我真的很感激。特别感谢马平女士对我所有的帮助。我一定会把这家酒店推荐给要来西宁的旅客 - 你们在这里一定会被好好照顾的。

This time I brought my two kids to Qinghai, and because of our itinerary, I specifically chose this hotel close to the airport. It turns out this decision was incredibly smart! Definitely a five-star review.
Location & Transportation: The hotel is very close to Caojiapu Airport and offers a 24-hour complimentary airport shuttle service. After we landed, one call and the driver arrived quickly, which was super convenient. For travelers with late flights or those catching an early flight the next day, this is absolutely the top choice.
Room Facilities: The room was very new; you could tell it had been recently renovated, but there was no strange odor, which I really appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. Although it's near the airport, the soundproofing was good, so it was quiet at night, and the kids slept soundly.
Cleanliness: The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. From the lobby to the hallways and the room itself, everything was spotless, which made our stay very reassuring.
Service Attitude: The front desk staff were warm and attentive. Check-in was quick, and they proactively informed us about breakfast and the shuttle service. They even gave us yogurt upon check-in, a thoughtful detail that was much appreciated.
Overall Experience: This is a highly cost-effective airport hotel, suitable for family travel. Next time I fly to Xining, I'll choose this place again!
