"Me and my friend had a lovely warm welcome from our host Virginia. Very comfortable beds and a fantastic view over the harbour. Great hot shower. Breakfast was excellent and served on a trolley to the room. Great coffee making facilities with a coffee machine, pods provided and a basket full of yummy biscuits. Very friendly and would definitely stay again xx"

"I have been to Wick three times - twice at MacKay’s and once at another hotel. MacKay’s is undoubtedly the better hotel. The hotel has a faded elegance that can be quite charming, and it is certainly a better hotel than Wick deserves with spacious rooms and a great restaurant. However the decor and fittings are a bit old."

"Wij verbleven 2 dagen in deze bed and breakfast, gevestigd in het voormalige havenmeestershuis, uitgebaat door Virginia en Keith. De 4 gastenkamers zijn op de 2e verdieping, alleen toegankelijk per trap. Onze nette kamer had uitzicht op de haven en de Noordzee. Het, vooraf bestelde, ontbijt werd 's ochtends op de kamer geserveerd. Wij vonden het een fijn verblijf."
