"One bed faces the door, and the other faces a mirror; it's a bit creepy at night. Also, the hotel's entrance is hard to spot at night. There's just a quiet courtyard outside. The location is good, close to the volcano."

"Remote, dark at night is not very easy to find, it is best to arrive before dark. No reception type stay. Very natural, can hear insects and birds. The facilities are old and close to the volcanic park."

"Het hotel lag op 10 minuten rijden van het vulkaanpark. De vulkaan barstte uit op onze t****e dag van het verblijf (EP32). We waren zo blij dat we er zo snel heen konden, omdat het zo dichtbij was. De kamer was erg comfortabel en het ontbijt was verrassend lekker. Er waren veel restaurants binnen 10 minuten rijden, maar die sloten allemaal om 21:30 uur. We zouden honger hebben geleden op de dag dat we de vulkaan bezochten als het hotel het ontbijt niet de avond ervoor had klaargemaakt en in de koelkast had gezet."

"Booked in order to go to the Volcano National Park, did not report much expectations, the result was very satisfactory, self-check-in is very convenient. The room is small but very clean. Own parking lot, parking is convenient."

"This was a highlight of a week long stay on the Big Island. The room was lovely, the breakfast delicious and the service above and beyond. Sipping Kona coffee in a rocking chair on the deck listening to the sounds of the rainforest was a little slice of heaven in the morning. Thanks to Carlos for this wonderful experience."
