"We arrived at this hotel (booked by our tour company) on a warm Sept evening. The a/c is controlled centrally and cannot be adjusted by the guest. It was so hot in the room and it was clear that my husband and I wouldn't be able to sleep in the room. Also, there is only one electric outlet (far from the bed) that would not have allowed us to use our small bedside travel fans. We decided to go to a more modern hotel without these constraints. We asked Hotel Bulwar for a refund but they refused."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Nicolaus Hotel in Torun. It is integrated into a historic building, giving it a unique charm. The location in the Old Town is excellent, with many great bars and restaurants just a few minutes' walk away. A bit more attention to detail would be appreciated. For example, the reading lamps in the room did not work properly and should be checked. Other than that, I would gladly return anytime."
