"Spent a night in a lovely comfortable bed with decent breakfast in morning. Main downside was a very poor electric shower with low water pressure and erratic temperature control. Some of the other fixtures and fittings need attention as well - TV sound distorted, bathroom extractor fan doesn't work properly, bathroom mirror appeared to have a built-in light but it didn't work or wasn't connected up. This was the ground floor room at the front. Was also surprised to see in the online listing that the place has a tennis court and a billiards room, perhaps it does but I didn't see info in the room about where they were."

"Hotel was opulent in decor. The 5 course a la carte evening meal was stunning, as was breakfast. Rooms were decorated to extremely high standard. Staff (David & Amy) were extremely friendly & knowledgeable in the history of glenmorangie whiskies. We were spoiled both nights we stayed with excellent company of other guests around an open fire on comfy sofas. Wonderful selection of Glenmorangie whiskies available, topped off with a complimentary tour of the distillery. Its a must if you like your whisky."

"Ikzelf, mijn twee jonge meisjes en mijn man verbleven in dit prachtige kasteel op het weekend. Het personeel was allemaal super mooi en handig! Een enorme schreeuw naar Caitlin, die zo smaakvol en leuk was om onze dochters heel bijzonder te voelen tijdens ons verblijf! We hadden geluk genoeg om met John (de eigenaar) en zijn mooie vrouw Esmeralda te praten, die ook echt interessant waren met een paar geweldige verhalen. Zo'n ongelooflijke ervaring! De kok was ook geweldig en in kamer met onze vegan dieet."

"We hadden een mooi verblijf in The Shore Hotel en konden het niet missen. De dienst was uitstekend vanaf het begin tot het einde, en iedere medewerker was zo vriendelijk en welkom - niets was ooit te veel problemen. Het eten was heerlijk, en het hele hotel voelde zich warm, gezellig en mooi op zoek. U kunt echt de aandacht zien op de details van alles wat ze doen, waardoor onze verblijf voelde zoiets speciaals. We zouden het Shore Hotel aan iedereen die het gebied bezoekt zeker aanbevelen en we zouden niet hechten om weer te blijven!"
