5-Starhotels in Osaka

My wife and I stayed in the King Premium room for 2 nights in April 2025. We loved the location of the hotel. It is 5 mins walk from Osaka station and surrounded by many shopping malls so you will never go hungry or run out of things to buy. It is also very convenient to make day trips since Osaka station connects to nearby cities like Nara, Kobe, Kyoto and Himeji. We also loved the size of the room (40m^2) and the toilet. There was more than enough space to fully open 2 luggage bags. There were also 2 separate sofas which you could sit in. The only thing we thought could have been improved on was the reception as no one offered to bring our luggage bags up to our room. Great room and location, service could’ve been improved.

Have had a great time on 20-21/12. The staff is very nice, willing to talk with you and with smile. Especially the girl in carpark ran to me and help my luggage when I arrived. Nanami san is also a very nice girl! Merry Christmas and happy new year 2026❤️

1. Ruimte in de kamer: veel beter dan verwacht. Ik ben gewend om elke dag mijn persoonlijke spullen op te ruimen en mijn eigen wegwerpbeddenset mee te nemen, dus ik denk dat het prima is als er twee personen hier blijven. 2. Kamerfaciliteiten: ik denk dat ze redelijk goed zijn, maar de waterdruk van het warme water om te zwemmen is onstabiel, warm en koud. Ik hoop dat het hotel dit kan verbeteren. 3. Locatie: uitstekend. Er is een metro? beneden, één station naar Namba, het vervoer is erg handig. Aan de overkant zijn de winkelstraten PARCO, Daimaru en Shinsaibashi direct belastingvrij, dus u hoeft niet rond te rennen om belastingteruggave aan te vragen, en de goederen zijn relatief uitgebreid. Zeer geschikt om te eten, shoppen en shoppen! Toen ik het niet meer kon dragen, heb ik mijn spullen terug in het hotel gelegd en verder gewinkeld, hahaha! 4. Hotelprijs: ongeveer een maand van tevoren geboekt, dus de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is erg hoog. De volgende keer dat ik naar Japan kom, zal ik nog steeds dit hotel kiezen?

Very nice Hotel good stuff a little outdated compared to the four seasons, but that being said it’s the Ritz so it was good. I do not recommend the Michelin star restaurant breakfast buffet very good. I would not come here again, but if you are into old vintage settings then this is for you, still giving up five stars but no comparison to the four seasons

I arrived at 10:30. It was sunny so everything looked really nice! The staff is so kind and gave me the room right away so was even more impressed. The hallway is lined with carpet, but doesn’t smell stuffy. The room is spacious and well design. I love that they have a little lounge area by the bed. The room doesn’t have a bathtub, but I find it really nice because lately I have been very skeptical and a little bit scared to use Hotel’s bathtub so I think taking it out is good. The room even have steam iron. The glass that is provided in the room is good quality very thin. They have an espresso machine in the room as well, which is a nice touch. The location is a little bit off, but not that bad.

I rarely stay hotel in Japan, but this is one of the most iconic stay I had in Japan. Enjoying breakfast with Osaka Castle is a must and something ritual that I will appreciate. The breakfast variety is good, and they serve fresh omelette.

Ik koos voor OMO7 by Hoshino Resorts. Dit hotel opende in 2022 en er zijn niet veel online recensies te vinden. Het ligt op ongeveer 300 meter van het metrostation, waarvan Dojo-mae het dichtstbijzijnde is. Het is ongeveer 2-4 haltes verwijderd van station Honmachi (waar babywinkel Aka-chan is gevestigd) en station Shinsaibashi (waar warenhuis Daimaru is gevestigd), en ongeveer 7 haltes van Osaka Children's Land, allemaal zonder overstappen. De hotelkamers zijn geschikt voor gezinnen/vriendengroepen en bieden tweepersoonskamers, stapelbedden en kamers voor 4-5 personen. Er zijn behoorlijk wat opties, met prijzen variërend van ongeveer 1000-2000 yen per nacht. Ik koos dit hotel omdat: het relatief nieuw is, de locatie redelijk gunstig is, de kamers geschikt zijn voor 2 volwassenen en 1 kind, het ontbijt redelijk uitgebreid is en er een gedeelde onsen is (1000 yen per gebruik).

I got a sleep score of 93. That says it all. Great hotel with amazing sleep comfort. Super central location in Osaka. I managed to use both their gym and pool facilities which are great. Actually, for a hotel, I was quite surprised with the how nice the gym is. The hotel seems to have many visitors a day and service is impeccable and keeps things flowing very smoothly.
