Staying in Mandarin Oriental Qianmen was truly amazing. The whole team plan well to implement exceptional customer service and share the beauty of their property. I'd like to particularly mention some of your staffs ”Marcus” who cared so much about us from the beginning to the end, ”Eathen” the butler who was very professional during the room tour. It was our 2-year anniversary trip and they prepared our room very nicely. Next morning, we had a really joyful breakfast time with ”Wujoon Lee” and the chef ”Ping” Each menu of breakfast was top-notch. Every ingredient was very fresh, high quality, and full of authentic flavors(The Olive oil and Balsamic🫶). We loved Chef Ping's delightful energy and spirit! They were so friendly, and we even took a walk together with Wujoon after breakfast. He showed us other restaurants and beautiful ballrooms and shared many interesting stories regarding the property. It was a very pleasant conversation. I'd also like to mention one bell boy staff(sorry, couldn't pick his name up.) who came to pick up our luggage! We needed more time for packing, so he had to wait for another 10 minutes outside and took our luggage. I was supposed to meet him at the lobby because we wanted to take some more last-minute photos of our beautiful room before we leave. It was raining. After another 10-15mins, we went out and were surprised that he was waiting for us in front of our door without telling us. He just said it was raining quite heavily, so he thought it was better we take the buggy to go to the lobby. He didn't tell us because he didn't want to push us at all and make us hurry. He was very thoughtful, and I was very touched. When we reached lobby, many staffs waiting for us to say good bye, and I was told that the hotel car was prepared for my next destination.(Bvlgari hotel) I was surprised because I was supposed to grab the cab. Marcus gently offered me to take the host car for my convenience with this kind of weather. I really don't know what to say, and I felt like the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen treated me like their family. It was definitely beyond my expectations. All the staff have been very helpful, professional, and attentive. During my way to Bvlgari Hotel, I found out that the driver doesn't use the navigation. I asked him, ”Do you know where we are going?” He said he knows all the locations of every 5 stars and higher grade hotels. What a gentle and professional driver! There are always some reasons to come back! For me, the reason to come back to this property is definitely people and the breakfast, lol. The personnel of this property are absolutely the assets! The quality of service delivered by them during my Beijing trip has convinced me that I can always rely on this hotel for the home-away-from-home feeling. See you again!

We had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel during our family visit to Universal Studios. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home, and I can't say enough good things about Chloe and Melo. They went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay even more special. The hotel is super convenient with a shuttle directly to Universal Studios, which made getting to the park a breeze. And the view from our room overlooking Hogwarts was just breathtaking! It really added to the magic of the trip. One of the best perks is the hotel's connection to a huge, modern shopping mall, no need to venture outside to grab a bite or do some shopping. It's all right there, which was perfect for our family with a young kid. The hotel itself is pristine, with a fresh, new feel throughout. Everything was spotless, and we could tell they really care about keeping the space comfortable and inviting. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Universal Studios. It's the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and great service!

Het is een quasi-vijfsterrenhotel. Er zijn ook gedeelde fietsen naar het Tiananmen-plein fietsen 's nachts. Er zijn weinig mensen en het is veilig. De houding van iedere medewerker is geweldig. De receptiemanager Tong He was super enthousiast en gaf ons zelfs ontbijt voor twee. De kinderen konden niet in het zwembad spelen nadat ze daarheen waren gegaan?

Faciliteiten: Zeer compleet, de inrichting van de kamers is zeer uniek. Hygiëne: Schoon en netjes. Service: Hartelijk dank voor het enthousiaste gezelschap van huishoudster Cassie~ Toen we incheckten en een upgrade naar een nieuwe kamer kregen, kregen we rode wijn, fruit, speciale taartjes en herfstpeer- en witte-paddestoelensoep als welkomstgeschenk. Ik was vooral erg te spreken over de herfstpeer- en witte-paddestoelensoep, want die was erg lekker! Deze keer voelde ik me niet lekker en had ik buikpijn. Nadat ze hiervan hoorde, maakte de huishoudster zich zorgen en vroeg of ik gemberthee voor me wilde maken, zodat we om 18.00 uur konden uitchecken~ We kregen ook een speciale Mandarin-waaier toen we incheckten🪭 Geniet van een dagelijkse kredietlimiet van 888 yuan zonder drempel: Zeer voordelig! Deze kan worden gebruikt in Mandarin Steakhouse Zishan Restaurant en Mobar. De cateringproducten van Mandarin zijn zeer stabiel, heerlijk en uniek~ Jammer dat ik deze keer de speciale cocktails van Mandarin Bar niet heb geproefd vanwege maagproblemen. Ik kom de volgende keer terug om het te ervaren

De kamer is groot en volledig uitgerust met koelkast, wasmachine en magnetron. Het bevindt zich mogelijk op de kruising van het Chaoyang-district, dus het voelt erg kosteneffectief. Parkeren is overdekt en gratis. Er zijn robots die voedsel bezorgen. Ernaast ligt een restaurant waar vier generaties samenwonen, waardoor dineren gemakkelijk wordt. Op de foto is de indeling van de hal en kamers weergegeven. Toiletartikelen moet u bij de receptie vragen.

Oorspronkelijk vier dagen geboekt, maar na twee nachten te hebben verbleven, besloten we vervroegd uit te checken. Hoewel ik geen slechte recensie heb gegeven, wil ik toch graag enkele feedbackpunten delen: 1. Na herhaalde communicatie met de klantenservice van Ctrip werd het ontbijtprobleem voor de kinderen opgelost. Ik bedank Ctrip graag voor hun uitstekende service. Het hotel zelf kon het probleem niet oplossen, zelfs niet ten koste van onze annulering, met als reden dat het restaurant en het hotel samenwerkten, en dat ik een 'Gold Diamond'-lid was, geen 'Diamond Direct User'. Het hotel stelde zich hierbij erg onbuigzaam op. Achteraf gezien had ik liever gehad dat Ctrip niet succesvol had bemiddeld, dan hadden we tenminste geen slechte verdere verblijfservaring gehad. 2. Aangezien het restaurant een samenwerkingspartner is, waren we oorspronkelijk van plan om de Zuidoost-Aziatische buffetlunch van Jiahe te proberen. Echter, na het ontbijt op de eerste dag hebben we dat idee resoluut laten varen. Zowel de variëteit, de kwaliteit van het eten als de service waren vrij slecht. Er waren nauwelijks Beijing-specialiteiten en het was onduidelijk wat de kenmerkende gerechten waren. Sommige gerechten waren niet vers; de gebakken eieren leken bijvoorbeeld van de dag ervoor te zijn. Ik was oprecht bang om er diarree van te krijgen. 3. Wat betreft de omgeving en faciliteiten, op het eerste gezicht zag het er redelijk uit, maar de hygiëne van de kamer was erg matig: veel vuile hoeken, het tapijt moet vervangen worden, en er was geen elektrisch toilet. De geluidsisolatie was extreem slecht: geluiden van de gang, de overliggende kamer en de aangrenzende kamer waren allemaal duidelijk hoorbaar. De volgende ochtend moesten we vroeg op om de vlagceremonie te zien, maar rond 21.00 uur werden we wakker geschud door het extreem luide geluid van het vullen van het bad in de naastgelegen kamer. Na terugkomst van de ceremonie wilden we bijslapen, maar rond 9.00 uur 's ochtends werden we opnieuw gewekt door gesprekken op de gang. Overal op de gang stonden kleine luchtbevochtigers die zoemden. Het matras was oncomfortabel: hoewel de veerkracht goed was, raad ik aan om het te vervangen door een matras met onafhankelijke pocketveren. Als je echt goed wilt slapen, is dit niet de beste keuze! Bovendien zwemt mijn kind in andere hotels altijd langer dan 2 uur, maar hier speelde hij slechts 1 uur. Dit komt waarschijnlijk doordat het zwembad klein is en meer weg heeft van een groot bad. 4. De airconditioning had alleen een koelmodus, geen ontvochtigingsmodus. Er kwam een rioollucht uit de afvoer. Aangezien de wasruimte en het bed in de kamer slechts gescheiden waren door een schuifdeur, en het raam geen hor had, is het duidelijk dat het openen van het raam muggen binnenliet, maar het gesloten houden van het raam de reeks aan binnenproblemen niet oploste. 5. Het servicecentrum was vergeten de welkomstfruit te bezorgen, en bracht het twee uur voor het uitchecken. Dank voor deze late 'liefde'? 6. Er waren ook positieve punten: de locatie was goed, dicht bij een metrostation, en de lobby zag er mooi en artistiek uit. Maar voor zo'n grote lobby slechts twee bankjes? Is dat niet een beetje karig? Na dit alles beschreven te hebben, blijkt dat een sterrenhotel in de hoofdstad minder goed wordt beheerd dan een willekeurige B&B op de berg Jiuhua. Overweeg alstublieft zorgvuldig voordat u dit hotel kiest. Misschien ervaren 'Black Diamond'-gebruikers van Ctrip het anders dan 'Gold Diamond'-leden? Nogmaals dank aan de inspanningen van de klantenservice van Ctrip.

Being close to several embassies, commercial offices, and popular areas such as Sanlitun and Solana made getting around relatively convenient. While it is not in the immediate city-center tourist zone, I found transport straightforward, with taxis readily available and metro access within walking distance. This location worked especially well for business-related commitments and appointments. 🛏️ Rooms & Comfort The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a calm and private environment after a busy day. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I appreciated the well-thought-out lighting and overall room layout. Amenities such as reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a minibar added to the sense of convenience. That said, I did notice that some elements of the room décor and technology felt slightly dated. While everything functioned well, a refresh in certain areas would further elevate the overall experience. Nonetheless, the room met my expectations for comfort and cleanliness. 🍽️ Dining & Facilities The hotel offers a good range of on-site dining options, and I found the breakfast buffet to be varied and well-organized. The café and lounge areas provide comfortable spaces for informal meetings or relaxing in the evening. I also made use of the fitness and leisure facilities, including the gym and swimming pool, which were well maintained and easy to access. In addition, the hotel’s extensive meeting and event spaces clearly make it well suited for conferences, corporate functions, and formal gatherings. 🤝 Service & Staff Service throughout my stay was professional and courteous. Staff at reception and guest services were attentive and helpful, particularly during check-in and with general inquiries. While there were occasional minor communication challenges, these did not significantly impact my stay and were handled with patience and professionalism. 📊 Overall Value & Impression Overall, I felt that the Grand Concordia Hotel offers strong value, especially for business travelers or guests with embassy-related or professional engagements in Chaoyang. Its strengths lie in its location, room size, cleanliness, and comprehensive facilities. While there is room for modernization, the hotel succeeds in providing a professional, well-maintained, and welcoming environment. I would consider staying here again, particularly for business or extended visits in Beijing.

We spent two nights at this Club Med hotel with our two children. Having had a fantastic experience at another Club Med previously, we were looking forward to this stay—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel feels outdated and neglected. Our bathroom was worn down, and many facilities were either closed, broken, or simply abandoned. The indoor pool was shut, the outdoor pool looked like a ruin, and several machines in the fitness room didn’t work. Even in the indoor water park some hot baths and the sauna didn’t work. Food was average at best—both breakfast and dinner buffet lacked variety and quality. Service was underwhelming too: despite few guests, I had to fetch the high chair and children’s cutlery myself every time. One activity offered was a trolley ride from the hotel to a nearby vineyard. My wife was looking forward to a proper wine tasting or a guided tour of the estate. Instead, a woman briefly showed us two shelves of wine available for purchase—no tasting, no tour. It was disappointing, especially given how impressive and vast the vineyard itself was. On the plus side, check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. But overall, this stay was disappointing and far from the Club Med standard we had come to appreciate.

Het hotel ligt op een zeer gunstige locatie, niet ver van het metrostation. Met een gedeelde fiets bent u in 10 minuten in Sanlitun en in 10 minuten in Gongti. De hotelservice reageerde snel, er waren rolstoelen beschikbaar om te lenen en robots bezorgden maaltijden op de kamer. Een oud hotel met een ruime lobby en ietwat verouderde kamerfaciliteiten, maar het voldoet aan de behoeften en de prijs is redelijk.

Het meest kosteneffectieve hotel met uitzicht Toen ik 's ochtends wakker werd, ontdekte ik dat het CCTV-gebouw aan de overkant eigenlijk het CCTV-gebouw was, beter bekend als de dame bij de receptie, die eruitzag als een voorman zo leuk. Mijn kinderen wilden niet weggaan toen ze in dit hotel verbleven. Het was een driedaagse reis naar Beijing. Het meest verrassende aan het Millennium Hotel is dat een kamer met uitzicht zoals Holiday Inn minder dan 900 kostte yuan. Het is zo de moeite waard. Vanwege dit hotel wil ik tijdens de meivakantie naar Beijing. Ik wil niet eens naar Disney.
