Concrete floors, ceiling fans and ambient lighting are in every room. Beautiful cedar walls, granite counter tops and Texas style decor are welcoming and will make you feel at home. Valley View offers plenty of seating with a large bar, breakfast/game table and a rustic leather-fringe dining table below an antique custom canoe light. The kitchen is stocked with the the essentials needed for your stay and has a large island for meal prepping and storage. Just off the kitchen you will find a spacious laundry room with a washer and dryer. There are 2 large private bedrooms, one on each end of the house. Each bedroom has (1) queen bed and (1) double/double bunk bed (total of 3 beds per room) with a total of 6 beds for 12 guests. Each room has a full bathroom en-suite with granite counter tops and a glass, walk-in tile shower. You will have plenty of room to store your luggage and personal belongings in the large closets- (1) located in each room. After a long day on the river, you can unwind by the iron fire pit. Beautiful Log Cabin with 2 bedrooms and a jack and Jill bathroom. Has newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops. Pictures don’t do it justice. Just off River Road at the Frio River but secluded enough that you don’t feel that people are on top of you. Has fire pit and barbecue pit for your enjoyment. Tube on the Frio or sit on the porch and watch the deer. Beautiful setting. The cabin is located close to the river, however there is not private access via walking. We have many great tubing companies around that can help you get access to the river and enjoy time with your family. Our ancestor, Capt. William Ware, built the original one-room cabin on the property in 1852 which has been lovingly protected and preserved. The historic farmhouse where we welcome you to come stay with your family and friends was built by his son John Crane Ware in 1870 and was most recently renovated in 2023 – including newly updated bedrooms, bathrooms, A/C, kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and a great outdoor patio for star-gazing and enjoying the breeze under Grandma Inez’s beloved pecan tree. The spring-fed Sabinal River is crystal clear and is filled with bass and catfish, and at sunset the whole riverbank comes to life with dancing fireflies. Our family created a wildlife management plan for the property and you’ll see both axis and white tail deer, rabbits, turkeys and maybe even a now more elusive armadillo! Our family homestead is fully furnished and appointed and sleeps 20 – 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, 1 double bed, 2 twin beds, 2 twin over double bunk beds, and 1 twin over twin bunk bed. All bed linens and bathroom and river towels are provided. There’s a pool table and ample board and card games, as well as satellite television, WI-FI and an old organ in the front parlor. The kitchen was recently updated and has everything you need for entertaining, meal and picnic prep, and a bar. This is a nice small 2 bedroom cabin in Utopia. It is tucked away on County Road 355. It is just a half of a mile from main street Utopia. The Sabinal River runs though Utopia. So you can enjoy the Utopia Park Lake that has a dam with plenty of water to swim in and fish year round. Utopia is also 15 minutes from Garner state park and the Frio river. It is also just a 15 minute drive to Lost maples State park in Vanderpool. This little casita is located in the beautiful town of Uvalde Texas. Lots of eats near by and unique downtown shops. So. I’m gonna be really honest here.. We bought our home with this little casita in the back yard in July of 2021. We did a fixer upper on the inside of the main house where we currently live. We have done some work in the backyard but it’s definitely not finished and still rough around the edges. We gave the casita a fresh coat of paint inside and replaced the bathroom floor. We do not have television. We DO have WiFi. We have many dreams for both the backyard and casita but at this point do not have the funds to continue.. we will update as we can! We have a friendly golden retriever (Paz) that will probably be around during your stay but she sleeps inside our house at night. You will also see our kitty (Zeus) during your stay as well. You will have access to a fire pit and a bbq wood grill. The casita is clean and neat but nothing fancy. The “kitchen” has a two burner stove, a mini fridge and a sink. A queen sized bed and a small bathroom. You can park in our driveway and enter the casita through the gate into the back yard. My husband is self employed at ARP automotive and I am a stay at home mom to our baby girl.. We will keep to ourselves as much as possible.. This lovely cabin sleeps up to 22 people. There are 6 bedrooms, 10 beds, and two futons. The location of the cabin is down river road near the Frio River and close to many local stores. Walking distance to one the most popular restaurant, Hippie chics, as well as the others and public pool. There is big parking for the cabin. The backyards has 3 hammocks, a BBQ pit, two picnic tables, a round fire pit, cornhole, and horse shoe games. The inside of the cabin has two fridges, one microwave, a blender, toaster, etc. We leave bed covers/ sheets at NO EXTRA COST, as well as six towels (body and face). Our Casa Bella home is located in the Mountain Valley Subdivision in the heart of Concan and is the perfect place to relax outside and still have all the amenities you need inside the home. Case Bella sleeps 18 people comfortably, and has big, vaulted ceilings in the open kitchen and living room. But who comes to Concan to stay inside the house? That's what makes Casa Bella special. Outside you have a back porch that runs the length of the house. Inside the security fence, giving access to the pool, you also get a huge pavilion that has a bar and also seating at the wonderful outdoor tables. This pavilion, unlike any other in Concan, also has an evaporative cooler that will blow cool crisp air even on the hottest of days. Other amenities outside include a bbq pit, basketball court (on caliche), swing set, horseshoe pits, and of course the pool. What good is a house in Concan if you still have to pay money every day to get into the crystal clear Frio River? Casa Bella also offers free river access at the famous Concan Swimming Hole.
