2-Starhotels in Hakone

金時山登山の帰りに一泊しました。 ひとり旅なのでカプセルタイプの部屋（寝床）を予約しました。 お客さんは欧米系の方と中華系の方が多く日本人は平日はあまりいないそうです。 温泉もあるし共同スペースも設備充実してました。 騒がしい人もいなくて静かに寝ることができました。 コンビニまでは5〜6分、登山鉄道の駅までは10分くらいです。

Amazing experience in this ryokan! Felt very warmly welcomed by the owner who would come out to send us off or receive us when we entered or exited. Also received a welcome cake from him! Rooms were comfortable and the private onsen experience was really luxurious. Easy drive out to see the attractions we wanted to in Hakone.

Dit is de eerste keer dat ik in een hostel met een onzin verbleef! de onzin als klein, doet het werk, en de buiten onzin was echt rustig in de nacht. Ik boekte een koningin bed voor 2 mensen en het was ruime genoeg om al mijn bezittingen te houden. Het hotel is ook heel vriendelijk. Een ding dat je hier wilt blijven, om hier te komen van het Hatsune-Yumato station vereist een zeer stevige klim op de weg en een wandeling door het bos, dus probeer niet hier te lopen! Neem de K-lijn bus, die je 100 meter van het hostel afslaat.

The hotel location was great. We were in Hakone for the Onsen (hotel springs), and the hostel was near a lot of them. The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. The hostel also offered an interesting diner, but we haven't try it. The building and interior was looking very Japenese traditional. Much appreciated for an immersive experience in Japan!

☀️ When i first arrived, i thought i was at the wrong place - i‘ve never booked something so nice for myself before! 🪲PROS - chill 4 people bedrooms, with a comfy bed and a big personal shelf + locker and a fridge for the room - clean facilities and rooms - towel, toothpaste/toothpaste and yukata were provided as well as shampoo and showergel - the common room was so cozy and nice, with tea and water always at the ready and a great view of the garden - i was satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast and the price was fairly cheap (~1200¥ or a bit more, depending on your choices) - PRIVATE ONSEN that you can book for around 50minutes at night and can use in the morning if nobody else is already using it (costs around 150¥ per use) - there is a shuttle bus going at pretty regular times in the morning. They offer a ride to both Gora-Station or Hakone-Open-Air-Museum! 🩸CONS - far from the city-centre/train station 🌱 i really enjoyed my stay. I had cool roomies that became travel companions and absolutely loved the inn, the onsen, the food and the kind staff! Definitely a recommendation if you ever decide to stay in Hakone - i would book again!

Vrienden die in jeugdherbergen hebben verbleven, zullen het zeer comfortabel vinden. Het tweepersoonsbed is vrij groot en het eenpersoonshokje is ook erg comfortabel aanbevolen. Het is niet ver van het Hakone Yumoto Station, maar er is een steile helling als je naar boven gaat, wat een beetje moeilijk kan zijn voor mensen met grotere koffers.

*The guest villa was nice, clean, and comfortable.* We had a small issue at check-in though. The check-in email only came in at 4:30 PM, but we arrived at 3:00 PM. Plus our room was changed from 201 to 101, so the code we got didn’t work. Luckily the staff was there when we arrived and helped us check into the new room quickly. *Facilities:* Washing machine is paid - 6kg for 400 Yen. Dryer is 100 Yen for 30 mins but clothes don’t get fully dry, so we still had to hang them out. The drying area is small but clean enough. Bathroom was clean too and overall facilities are good. 第一次自由行去日本，想體驗和式住宿，網上找了很多，日式房間外面有植物的一般都幾千塊人民幣，而且得好幾個月前預訂。找到這家真的讓我偷笑，符合我的預期，日式房間，外面是樹林，孩子帶温泉，東西配置很齊全。有一點是日式房間隔音差一點，隔壁有個白人小寶哭，聽的很清楚。但就哭了一會兒，其他時候都非常安靜。出門在外，大家之間都很有禮貌，很親和。上週剛去，下午6點多就天黑了，下午3點開始辦理入住，所以計劃好時間，天亮的時候去附近便利店轉轉，也有本地人開的餐廳，飯不錯，也不貴。專門拍了很多照片，分享給大家，希望對大家有幫助。我定的房間不帶早餐，裏面有餐廳可以另外點餐。這是温泉鎮，過去的話我們先玩，然後坐公交過去的，下了公交走幾分鐘很快就到了。

A very pleasant visit to kind, simple and peaceful people. I like a lot the location of the homestay, out of the center, up hill, need to move your ass to reach it. The hottest onsen I’ve been haha but also the most comfy as it’s private. I miss Rum already, what a nice dog, same as all the staff. A really worthy stop in Hakone with local people who feel real in an area full of tourism. Thanks a lot for taking care of my bags after my check in, those gestures are the ones that really count!

A nice cozy home right near the main train station. Easy access to transportation and right in the heart of the town. The house had many beds to choose from and good separation of rooms. A stocked kitchen and laundry machine was a bonus. The only slight bother was that the space in front of the toilet was very narrow and it was slightly uncomfortable to be on the toilet. Also there are cockroaches that come in at night, but this is fairly normal in Japan. The walk up to the house consists of many stairs and is not suitable for persons with handicaps/mobility issues.
