She even helped to send our luggage to the port on our last day. Very good personalized service."

"Overall experience was good.
20mins walk from putuo jetty and also puji temple. It's in between these 2 locations. Easy to find vege food as well.
Soundproof not too good but generally was quite calm at night. Sometimes people checkout or leave the room quite early in the morning you will hear some sound from outside.
Room is clean and quite clean.
Guesthouse owners are nice and friendly"

"When I came to Zhoushan to step on thunder all the way, it was very random to choose this hotel. I didn't expect the price to be cheap, the breakfast was good, and the most important thing was that the clean bedding was comfortable to sleep. Although I won't come to Zhoushan again and won't come to Nansha, this is the only light in the tired journey. Very recommended"

"Very recommended hotel due to good service and pay attention to customer.
I have left my mobile phone charger in hotel room during checked out.then the owner really did alot of effort to help sending my charger to my next hotel in shanghai.even he kept followed up until i received my good.
The hotel location also very good near ferry terminal walking distance so easy to take shuttle bus to go around island.and beside hotel alot of restaurant.
And the most important the owner is very helpful and can do pick you up in ferry terminal.
Beside good service the hotel price consider cheaper among other similar hotel.
So will definetely come back and stay.
Even i did abit late checked out the hotel was never charged me extra fee.
The owner also can guide you how to go putoa island and any information needed just contact via wechat."

"A little distance from the pier, the boss will take the initiative to contact the pick-up in advance~ The advantages of staying here at night are obvious, obviously much quieter than the edge of the pier, you can rest at ease. The view is very good, each room faces the sea, and the facilities in the room are very new, modern and very convenient. Will take the initiative to send drinking mineral water, do not have to go to the canteen to buy it alone, this is a plus! There are not many delicious foods on the island. There is a fried chicken chip snack bar downstairs. The taste is not bad. The boss is very enthusiastic, but the intersection is very good. It is recommended."

AAnonieme gebruikerI wish I had taken more photos of the hotel and the. room we stayed in. the hotel has a homey and welcoming feel. the beds are very Comfortable and the water pressure is good. the decorations are designed to make you feel the seaside feeling of the island. this hotel was so clean, the daily upkeep was meticulous even with my sandy children coming in from the beach, each time we returned to the room it was spotless. the owner of the hotel went above and beyond to help us understand the bus and ferry booking, he gave the best tips on where to go and what to see. there the island itself was busy but we found the beaches empty and the children had a Wonderful time playing in the waves. I will return and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to relax.

SShirleyanI stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stayI stayed in Other People House on my second night. This is an excellent place to stay as it offer a great view overlooking the beach and harbor. The vibe is very different from my first night stay which happened to be next door neighbor. The people here know what makes the customer happy, they upgrade our room when it is not full occupancy. This place is more homely and comfy and you can just chose to laze around on the ground floor in front of the big projector screen to watch a movie or at a quiet long table for reading, or just to day dream while looking out at the sea. The precinct has a nice cozy area for meals too.

GGastgebruikerWe loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island.

OOrangelilihStayed there for two nights between 23-25 Dec with two friends. The family room has two double beds and a private bathroom, and is spacious enough for three of us. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend it.
- The room was immaculate, beds were comfortable, and the shower worked perfectly. Can't fault it
- Location - The B&B is in a residential complex off Mei Qin Road, about 10 mins walk from the wharf and Puji Temple. 2 mins from the bus stop. Very convenient
- The host Xiao Xiong was intentative and very helpful. It was our first time to Putuo Island, she gave us great advice about how to get around and which temples to visit
If I were to nitpick, the sound proof was poor. However, the B&B is in the middle of the complex and Dec is off season, the noise was tolerable.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

QQingqiuruhuatuikeaiThe boss is very nice, and there are two lovely volunteer sisters. It's fun like a dream. The boss and the two lovely volunteer sisters live a loving life by the sea. I like their atmosphere very much. I want to give my cat to the boss sister so that the cat can live a good life. Although it is a youth hostel, it is no worse than a hotel. (The hotels on the island are of varying quality. Instead of spending five or six hundred to find a so-so one, it is better to have the boss sister's youth hostel.) The house is warm and romantic, and there is a breath of life everywhere. It's so romantic to face the sea and watch them paint.

The rooms are not clean enough, we noticed that the air vents were extremely dusty. When we turned on the air conditioning, there was a noticeable dusty odor, making it difficult to breathe, which forced us to turn it off despite the cold weather.
Additionally, the towels provided were not up to standard—some were visibly aged, worn out, and even torn. This significantly impacted the overall comfort of our stay. Improving towel quality and ensuring better air vent maintenance would greatly enhance the guest experience.
