"The hotel is slightly far from the attraction area. But we can take mrt to those areas. This hotel is very near to harbin west train statiom, but walking distance is about 10 mins. You can walk along the building walkway and go thru an underground walkway, just that the walk way will close at 11pm and open 6am, if not mistaken. Otherwise, you have to walk around the open space in a cold weather.

Hotel is big and clean. They provide washing machine. The hotel person in charge allowed early checkin on request nd subject to room availabilty. The check in process is smooth as long as you can give them a call via booking free call line. They will share the access details to you. The room access is digitalize, no front desk services.
Lots of restaurants at the surrounding area. KFC is nearby. Nearest subway is either harbin station or chengxiang road station.
The room is exactly as advertised."

"I stayed as I read This international youth hostel gets a very high rating. However the notice board hardly has any English wording despite the word International hostel. The room & facilities were clean. Toilet paper, bath gel & shampoo were provided. Hot water & tea available as well. It is near the main tourist attractions & walking distance from the metro station. There are two little cute cats around & sometimes it'll sneak into your room. Not suitable to stay here if you are allergic to Cat. Overall I am happy with the stay & will stay again"

"衞生：衞生很好，屋內很乾凈，我女朋友第一次住賓館説第一次見洗手池開水把手這麼乾淨的，乾濕分離的，洗澡別怕把水弄在淋浴室外，因為真的很乾，睡一晚全部會幹，撒地上就當加濕器加濕了，別忘了帶加濕器。

"Ik ben al vele malen eerder in zijn huis geweest, zowel in de standaard tweepersoonskamer als in de eSports tweepersoonskamer. De omgeving is erg goed en het beddengoed is erg schoon. De omgeving in het huis is erg fris. Maar deze keer ging ik omdat de cheque -in op de eerste dag was om twee uur in de ochtend. Er was er nog maar één. Er was een kamer aan het uiteinde, maar het was te laat, dus ik checkte in de volgende dag. Ik wilde mijn verblijf verlengen en wilde van kamer wisselen. Het was rond 11.30 uur en de receptie zei dat we voor twaalf uur alles moesten afbreken omdat we gisteren niets hadden. Het was vol, dus moesten ze de kamer opruimen en ventileren. Na het opruimen We konden voor ongeveer twee uur naar buiten. De eerste keer dat we hoorden over verlenging van ons verblijf en kleedkamers, vroeg de receptie ons de kamer waar we logeerden te verlaten. Mensen kwamen naar beneden en gingen naar de bank beneden om wacht op de nieuwe kamer, zodat we in de toekomst niet op de nieuwe kamer hoeven te wachten. Zal opnieuw gaan"

SStacy SohAfter taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village.
Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀
They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries.
Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear.
Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time.
Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu.
Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam.
Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼

ZZheng2571Big thanks to Sister Qiu for always responding to our inquiries and to the boss, Hongbo, for the warm hospitality and care. We had a very comfortable and fun four-day, three-night stay (Dec 27-30) in Snow Valley. The warm beds, hot meals, and enjoying all the entertainment activities in Snow Valley and Snow Village gave our group of four an extraordinary winter experience.
At Xiongling in Snow Valley, we tried snowmobiling, snow tubing, skiing, and snow drifting (super thrilling!).
**Friendly reminder**: Please wear sunglasses, a mask, and a snow hat. This will help prevent the cold snow from hitting your face when you're snow drifting. The snow hitting your face is incredibly, unbelievably cold!
For the Yangcaoshan itinerary, I recommend buying tickets for the horse-drawn sled and taking the snowmobile all the way up the mountain. Hiking would be a very long and time-consuming distance. For the second half, we opted to hike down to Snow Village, and the snow scenery along the way was absolutely spectacular, perfect for photos. You can also buy a small sled to enjoy some exciting mini snow runs on the way down.
**The only drawback**: The shower head in the bathroom had low water pressure, so it took a bit longer to shower.

GGastgebruikerHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

Upon arrival to the homestay, lady boss free upgrade to a beautiful bigger room for us!
I have been communicating with lady boss via WeChat xyxms999 before arrival and she helped us planned the full 5 days 4 nights itinerary including to horse ride, snow play, ski and xuexiang!
They literally drive us around to and fro around by their chauffeur.
We ordered TB and they help us pick up our stuff too
They serve daily breakfast too
The room is very new and is exactly as per the photos and housekeeping is awesome
The bosses own a restaurant next door and serve super yummy authentic dong bei food that we had our dinner there every night! And they are so nice to give us a discount of the food…
Even though this is a homestay but we feel that the service they offer was far so much better than a hotel.
They have their big snow area with their own snow play with snow bike and snow car and snow slide and swing too
Also they help us buy discounts tickets to all places of interest as well as loan ski gear at a discounted price too…
My girls loved it so much that they wanted to go back again!

AAnsh ChananaThe place which looks in the photo it is that one but quite dropped by the expectation which I had with it , it was time around the new year and I paid around 700 RMB for 2 nights so I thought room will be quite good by checking the rooms and photos of the reviews. But the room was small the terrace was just a little high from my head. Whole room is okay okay and not so much what you see in the photos. And whole room was with smoke smell the entire 2 days and we opened the small windows to bring out the circulation. Coz the room was heating up in the half an hour only. The owner is good she is really friendly and will help you with everything she even helped in getting my refund of my next hotel she is very good. But the place is fine and can get better

NNatDiscoversAsiaI recently stayed at this business hotel in Harbin for two nights, booking the most economical option - the Comfy Queen room. Going in, I understood this was a basic, no-frills accommodation, and I was prepared for that level of service. However, several significant issues made this stay far more frustrating than it needed to be.
The cheapest tier comes without a window, which I had accepted when booking. What the hotel failed to mention anywhere in the listing is that these budget rooms are located on the 8th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 7th floor. This means every check in and out requires climbing a TWO full flight of stairs with your luggage. Had I known this critical detail upfront, I would have either chosen a more expensive room or, more likely, selected a different hotel entirely. This information should be clearly disclosed during booking, as it’s a significant accessibility and convenience issue, especially for travelers with heavy bags or mobility concerns.
The most irritating incident occurred on my second night. After spending the day exploring Harbin in freezing temperatures, exhausted and literally frozen solid, I returned to find my room key card had been deactivated. This meant I had to climb down the stairs from the 8th floor, take the elevator down from the 7th floor to reception, wait while staff sorted out their mistake, then reverse the entire journey - elevator up to 7th, stairs up to 8th. This was completely avoidable and purely the result of careless staff work. When you’re already cold and tired, being forced to make this unnecessary journey because of administrative incompetence is genuinely maddening.
Adding insult to injury, I discovered after my stay that there are much better hotel options directly at the metro and high-speed rail (HSR) exits. These alternatives offer superior convenience without the stair-climbing requirement as I’ve stayed in some of those chains before.. The location of this hotel doesn’t offer any particular advantages to compensate for its drawbacks, making the choice to stay here even more regrettable.
For my next trip to Harbin, I’ll be choosing one of the hotels that are closer to HSR or metro exits. Unless you specifically need to be in this exact location and are booking a higher-tier room with elevator access, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if the cost difference is not much. There are simply better value options available that won’t leave you climbing stairs multiple times a day or dealing with preventable administrative hassles.

OOlesia eye surgeonWe are family of 2 adults and two kids 10 and 15 years old stayed for two nights. Actually we have arrived at late night at 00:30 and just called to the reception by number which was provided by trip com. The front desk guy went downstairs and gave us the access to our room. The front desk is located at 4 floor 412 room block E . The room was convenient, very clean, the two double beds are big and comfortable. The window view to the west railway station. We went by walk about 16 minutes from the hotel to railway. The wanda plaza needs to take a taxi to get in and it’s about 10 minutes by car. The room is warm, the windows are good closed, has refrigerator but doesn’t have any dishwear. If you want to eat and cook some simple meal at the room then will need to bring your own tableware. Also we stored our luggage for free at the front desk for few hours. My family have enjoyed the stay. Appreciate for the good accommodation!

LLuoriyufengDe locatie is goed, als je naar buiten gaat, sla je linksaf en je vindt het metrostation, niet ver van Central Street. Het ligt op een grote binnenplaats en het is nogal verlaten met weinig toeristen. De verwarmingstemperatuur van de kamer is OK, maar er zijn geen faciliteiten. De badkamer is leeg en je moet naar de receptie om badhanddoeken en toiletpapier te halen Over het algemeen is het gewoon.
