I had a truly delightful stay at Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch). This charming 民宿 offers a perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and tasteful design, making it an ideal retreat near Lingyin Temple and the scenic West Lake area. You can walk to the Lingyin Temple from the 民宿. The hospitality here is exceptional. The boss of the 民宿 was incredibly warm and thoughtful — every night, they prepared small, comforting desserts for guests, and every morning, they served a simple yet delicious breakfast. The staff were equally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any request. On our last day, they even kindly helped us carry our luggage to the car that was taking us to the airport, which was such a thoughtful touch. The 民宿 itself is incredibly cozy, with a dark-wood interior that gives it a warm, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, perfectly complementing the serene surroundings. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring West Lake and the nearby temples. The location is both convenient and something to plan around. The 民宿 is situated within the Xihu (West Lake) scenic area, meaning many attractions are nearby. However, traffic within this zone can be very heavy, especially during peak hours or weekends, so travelling in and out can sometimes be challenging. Once you're settled in, though, the proximity to major sights is a big advantage. Overall, I would still highly recommend Wanju·Jijian Lingyin Homestay (West Lake Lingyin Branch) to anyone visiting Hangzhou. The heartfelt service, thoughtful touches, cozy dark-wood setting, comfortable rooms, and serene environment made our stay truly memorable. I would definitely return on my next trip.

This hotel is perfect! Super clean and their facilities are cleanliness. Room for one person is good decoration, bed is the most comfortable. Bathroom and restroom separate for men and women. The staff are nice and helpful. The location just cross a road to Xihu West Lake and very close to Wulin night market. I recommended this hotel for everyone especially woman who are travel alone you will feel safe here and love it! 😊

Dit is! Het beste hostel waar ik ooit in heb verbleven! ! Het is niet ver van het metrostation, ongeveer vijf minuten. De servicegerichtheid van de zuster bij de receptie is erg goed, en de meeste gasten in de winkel zijn ook erg vriendelijk. De lift heeft een kaart nodig om naar boven te gaan, dus de veiligheidsindex is relatief hoog, de infrastructuur is ook erg goed, er zijn uitgaansgebieden en relatief rustige gebieden. De kamer is vrij ruim en schoon. Er wordt elke dag water verstrekt? De matras is superzacht! De badkamer en doucheruimte liggen bij elkaar, wat ook erg handig is. De volgende keer dat ik ergens anders heen ga, blijf ik tien jaar in een rugzak zitten! Jammer dat ik geen foto's heb gemaakt

Hoewel de kamer klein was, was hij erg schoon. Mannelijke en vrouwelijke gasten worden in aparte ruimtes ondergebracht en mensen van verschillend geslacht hoeven geen toiletten en badkamers te delen, wat een gevoel van veiligheid geeft. De badkamer en het toilet worden door schoonmaaksters schoongemaakt en gedesinfecteerd. Het personeel bij de receptie was behulpzaam en efficiënt. Ook de openbare ruimtes zijn schoon en licht. Omdat de prijs voor jeugdherbergen aan de hoge kant is, hebben we een golf van gasten omgekeerd afgeschermd. De buren die ik tijdens mijn verblijf heb ontmoet, waren allemaal erg vriendelijk en makkelijk om mee te praten, dus het gebrek aan ”slechte geluidsisolatie” was geen groot probleem.

Love the location. Easy distance walking to Xihu West Lake - Inn77 - Hibin Yintai -City Cemter Foodcourt (not too close.. so that much more privacy). Bus stop is in front of Hotel. Good bed sleep / Cleaness / Polite and helpful staffs. Window in room. Wifi in room is available (but need to receive OTP in mobile no. so I can not use it because I have only internet card sim.

Een schitterend hotel met een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding! De prijs is betaalbaar, maar de service en faciliteiten zijn allesbehalve eenduidig. De kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien en er is gratis mineraalwater beschikbaar. Het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie, dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en zakenwijken, en is zeer handig voor reizigers. Ik kom de volgende keer zeker weer!

Great location in between downtown and Xihu area. Unfortunately it is a smoking permitted hotel so guests often smoke in their rooms with the doors open so it might be good to turn on the AC to ensure smoke doesn't enter your room. Otherwise, pretty damn neat place for a great price.

Location is very good. There is a big mall across with an MRT station at its basement and another mrt being built directly across. There is cafes, bakeries and restaurants below and around the whole building and far more across the streets including fruit stalls and wet markets. Staff is very helpful and kind enough to let me upgrade to several rooms of my choice for free. Staff also helped me change cash into wechatpay and helped me call the deliver when my online purchase was sent to the wrong address. I never find staff this nice anywhere else in several countries. The apartment rooms and furnitures are not very new, not old, but they are very well taken care of. My room was very bright, comfortable and clean. My bed, sofa and office chair were very comfortable. Aircon and fridge were very cold. Washing machine is good but no dryer option. Detergent and dish cleaner was given upon request. I wish there was a microwave and clothes iron in the hallway and at least a small table mirror in the room. Some areas need to be cleaned better, because the bed headboard, hook tray stand and kettle tray had a lot of dust. The gap (where we insert our fingers) of the fridge door, the washing machine door and trash can lid needs to be cleaned. The shower was clogged and the water went down very slowly and flooded easily. Amenities wise, generous, everything was provided from towels, comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, bodywash to room slippers and shower slippers. Bottled water, some coffee and tea were provided in the room. My nice room is directly at the entrance facing the lift. If you don’t like the noise of people coming from the lift or talking at the lift, try to request rooms further away. I like my room more than other rooms so the noise was worth the comfort. Two months in China and this is the best place I ever stayed.
