Hotels met spa in Taipei

Deze reis naar Taiwan was volledig te danken aan dit onlangs geopende hotel! De inrichting is prachtig en past perfect bij het concept van Capella! Het enige nadeel is dat de service zijn reputatie niet waarmaakt! Ten eerste was het kamertype dat ik bij het inchecken kreeg toegewezen anders dan ik had geboekt, en het duurde lang om van kamer te wisselen. Ten t****e, toen ik mijn kleren naar de wasserij bracht, was ik geschokt toen ze na de eerste wasbeurt terugkwamen. Ze waren precies hetzelfde als voorheen! Is dit de service van Capella? Het is moeilijk voor te stellen. De t****e wasbeurt was eindelijk schoon, en ze werden zoals gebruikelijk aangerekend! Ten slotte was het ontbijt echt niet lekker, verbeter het alstublieft.

Great amenities, clean hotel and generally warm and kind staff. However, we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and they welcomed us ok - but nothing special given we paid for a special executive level treatment. Breakfast was plenty of options but some limitations to those who are vegan and would like healthier options. Staff lack attentiveness that belongs to 5 stars, they also lack ‘can do’ attitude to accommodate guests’ requests especially when they are so simple like for example - I asked multiple times at breakfast and in the lounge if they can serve me some watermelon (because I saw they had freshly cut and stored watermelon sitting in the fridge) but all staff repeatedly said no. It felt so silly looking at that watermelon just sitting there and me sitting so disappointed day after day, just craving it and not being able to get it so I went to the mall across the street and ate it there. I mean, not a five star experience really. Apart from great spa and fitness, we left pretty disappointed :(

Location is excellent. The hotel sits between 2 subway stations therefore making going around the city very easy. We had rented a car and was able to park for free during our stay. The mall next to the hotel is very convenient as we were able to pick up simple wardrobes and traveling essentials.

I am extremely satisfied with my overall experience at Hotel Royal Beitou. The hotel’s location is superb, conveniently close to the train station and various tourist attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The pricing is also very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided. The room was spotless and well-maintained, equipped with a wide range of facilities and amenities that catered to all my needs. The in-room toiletries, especially the shower products, were of high quality and a pleasure to use. I also appreciated the thoughtful additions such as scented candles, a sound system, a dehumidifier, and unique snacks and beverages. The only minor issue was that the TV’s internet connection was down, which prevented me from watching any programs. The service provided by the hotel staff was exceptional. They were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Upon check-in, they took the time to introduce all the room facilities in detail, which was very helpful. The breakfast offered by the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and preferences. Overall, my stay at Hotel Royal Beitou was a delightful experience, thanks to its prime location, well-appointed rooms, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Beitou for hot spring relaxation.

The service was terrible. I booked this hotel with 2 meals. , for dinner, they said we could not order the expensive menu, so we ordered within what they advised us. The oysters were not very fresh, and the soup was so blended, and there was no taste. We did not enjoy our meal much, and then once we finished, they gave us the bill with additional charge. I asked yhat lady what this additional charge for, then that lady did not even know what is wrong at the first. and then she called other senior lady, and she came back to us and explained like, ”This menu you ordered was actually not included in your meal plan. But it's okay since it's our fault, we will not charge to you. It's okay we will take this additional chages. ” I felt like... they are not generously allowing us something or giving services. Was so uncomportable. And the guy who work in the spa place on 2nd floor was so rude. Cheng? Chen? He was so rude and not quite nice. Also, for the outside spa(pool?), i know a lot of othe hotels spa allow people to use the shower cap on ther hair, but they said i should buy the swimming cap. Was so strict, so even we had the swimsuits, we were not able to use the outside spa(pool?). I paid almost 600$ and this hotel does not deserve to get this much amount. I do not recommend this hotel never ever.

Ik heb eerder in JR in Okinawa verbleven en het was een goede ervaring. Ik verbleef deze keer vier nachten in Taipei en voelde me zeer tevreden. Ik liet na mijn eerste verblijf vrijwillig een fooi achter. Locatie: Handig. Er is een metrostation aan de overkant van de weg. De omliggende steegjes zijn ook erg rustig, met enkele kleine winkeltjes verborgen. Ook dicht bij de avondmarkt. De inrichting en sfeer van het hele hotel is ook erg rustig en vredig. Kamer: De receptie heeft mij een upgrade gegeven naar een suite. De badkamer is gescheiden van nat en droog, 🈶douche en bad. Het bad is niet gebruikt, omdat je 's avonds naar de 9e verdieping van het hotel kunt. Daar is een kleine openbare sauna en elke avond een bad nemen is een hele verademing. De waterstroom in de doucheruimte voelde een beetje klein aan, wat het enige was dat ik tijdens mijn verblijf miste. Service: niet overdreven geserveerd. Het bedienend personeel lijkt meer op het concept van ”onzichtbare” service. Hoe dan ook, als je overdag uitgaat en 's avonds terugkomt, is alles netjes en ordelijk. Je ziet niet dat het schoonmaakpersoneel karren door de gangen van sommige hotels duwt. Als u flessenwater of iets anders nodig heeft, reageert het servicepersoneel snel. De benodigdheden in de kamer worden elke dag aangevuld en de vloerdoeken naast de douche en het bad worden zeer zorgvuldig opgevouwen. De moeite waard om te verblijven en aan te bevelen!

Great breakfast, like many other guests have commented, not a huge variety but they have all the necessary ingredients for a filling breakfast buffet and all food taste good! Swimming pool and gym are both comfortable and huge The only problem is it isn’t too close to the metro but I come here for business trip so it’s fine for me

1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. This place was amazing! I was a little hesitant to book because it went over our budget, but I'm so glad we did. They made us feel like guests rather than customers. I only regret not booking for at least 3 days! The one thing that bothered me was not knowing the full details about the shuttle service they provide (pick up location and times), but when I messaged them they replied pretty quickly. Place is spotless and they provide snacks and coffee/tea/water in the room. We would definitely come back if ever in Taiwan again!

The hotel is near the MRT and walking distance to the thermal valley. Easy to walk to the local market to explore the area for food, fruits and local fish and vegetables stalls. The hotel room is big and clean with free tidbits, cold drinks in the fridge. One plus point is able to enjoy hot spring inside the room. Breakfast is simple and limited choices.
