"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Monarch Hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way! The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. The free breakfast was a wonderful surprise - the selection was impressive, and the food was delicious. But what really made my stay stand out was the exceptional service from the staff. They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Monarch Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. I'll definitely be back! Rating: 5/5 stars"

"Good -Park like setting, pet friendly, many nice pools to use. Couple villa has own little pool surrounded by plants for privacy. Air-conditioned room. Warm shower water, local drinking water provided. Eating area inside room, ref and sink. Gated entry with gate guard. Provided breakfast, portions are local but quite filling. Plenty of onsite parking (watch out for coconuts above car). Golf cart with driver available but the walk is really short and mostly flat. Toothbrush and amenities provided. Ants and bugs are typical so not an issue (bug spray recommended for foreigners). Employees welcoming and very responsive and well groomed. Room service (took for all meals). Bad -lack of food menu in room with room service offered, housekeeping called Butler but not. Provided cell phone with load, load expired initially. Updates every 6 hours to phone via text message. 80% of time housekeeping could not be reached. Menu once either found on web site or brought to door many things not available and size of portion not clear. Food cold sometimes upon delivery and or not taste very good, food service is slow. Bar soap provided is nice but small (cut down from a larger bar). A bit of a drive to anything else nearby and not much else found to do here. Ugly -Breakfast order lost on last day to check out, was placed 6PM in person at door night before. If had not called would not have been provided (since we had pet with us, opted for room service) Housekeeping light not working at front door to make up room. Ref compressor noise. Sometimes arcing / hum noise coming from electrical panel. Expectation of vacationer not in alignment with profit margin site manager is attempting to generate from each stay. You are left with a feeling of overpaying for a level of service that was lacking and this felt in relation to how the business just seems to be run. Arrival was overwhelming (good) but departure needs improvement."

"De voorzieningen zijn erg basic, maar het is nog steeds een van de beste hotels in Urdaneta. Inchecken gaat vlot. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en oké. Het was inbegrepen in de kamerprijs. De kamer is schoon, maar we horen mensen op de gang lopen en deuren open en dicht gaan. Omdat we lichte slapers zijn, had dat wel wat invloed op onze slaap. De internetsnelheid was oké. Ik kon werken. Mooi uitzicht, vooral 's ochtends."

"They are only open until 10pm not like what there page says ”always open” or until 12mn, you wont be able to enter if you arrive late.. The place is quite far from the plaza, but the room is clean. Staff is also approachable. I might still consider the place though on my next visit.."

"My booking was somehow changed to a 2 single bed studio so my partner and i had to push the beds together. Netflix doesn’t work on the remote we were stuck with random cable networks. They fixed the hot water issue so that was great. I can hear the staff shouting around outside the our room. I think Bedbox Hotel would’ve been a better choice"
