"We had a great time at the hotel and recommend it 1. the room was very clean 2. the food (we had breakfast and dinner) was diverse and really delicious, 3. the staff is very attentive to the guests needs 4. based on the bracelets we received we had the access included to Lacul Ursu, and could enter as many times per day as we wished (regular tickets bought at the cashhers desk at the lake only provide 1 entry/day) 5. The hotel has its own spa area, and access to the pools and sauna was included In the room we were in there were 2 separate beds put together, so there are 2 beds, not 1 - but they were really confortable. Also, we had to pay separately for the parking."

"This was a spa hotel and overall it was a great experience. There was some left to be desired. Pros: nice mineral springs, saunas, pools. nice spa mud treatments. diverse and fresh breakfast, beautiful views of the lake. Cons: some members or the party had issues with a/c in their room, some flooding in the bathroom. they turned off the coffee machines 30 minutes before breakfast ended. we booked a double matrimonial bed but ended with 2 twins on wheels that fell apart. the room keys had to be fixed as they did not work the first time. overall, the experience was good. but, they did not care in the slightest when we were inconvenienced."

"We hebben 3 nachten gebleven in april 2025 en genoten zeer van de locatie en service. De kamer was mooi en schoon, de locatie zeer dicht bij het Bear Lake, dus we genoten een paar minuten lopen naar het meer. Het ontbijt was goed, de enige neerwaartse kant is dat als je laat bent na 9:40 niet meer vol is. Het is super warm in de kamer, we vroegen om de warmte volledig uit te schakelen en zelfs dus de temperatuur was hoog, dus het is perfect voor de warmteliefhebbers. Over het algemeen was het een zeer mooie ervaring en ik zou dezelfde locatie kiezen als ik terug zou naar Sovata."

"Ik had een prachtig verblijf. Alles was ondoorzichtig: schone en heldere kamers, een ontspannende sfeer, uitstekende voedsel, en ondoorzichtige diensten. Het spa is geweldig, een perfecte plek voor volledige ontspanning. Het personeel was erg aardig en altijd bereid om te helpen, wat de hele ervaring nog plezieriger maakte. Ik wil Paulus, de hoteldirecteur, noemen, die uitzonderlijk aandachtig, aanwezig, professioneel, en ongelooflijk aardig. Hij verhoogde echt de standaard van ons hele verblijf. Hoe aanbevolen! ❤️"

"Very expensive, at 250 euro a night. Not a single day without having problems with the keys(cards). The staff at reception is nice(also the rest), but they are too few and you have to wait a lot to actually talk to one. Breakfast is ok, but dinner is very bad, and you only get water(this for 250e/night). The hotel is old(a bit renovated), but dirty. The elevator is slow, old, dirty and rusty. The rooms are ok, but still not very clean, and far from 4 stars. The shower is a joke, half of the nozzles are clogged and the other half go each one in its own direction. The parking isn't free(even at 250/night) and you cant really find one close to the hotel unless you are lucky. The pools are ok, but dirty. There are too few chairs. The door that leads outside is old, rusty and dirty. The windows are dirty and have spiderwebs on them. The bar at the pool has very few things to sell(nothing special, you find everything at any store) at very high prices(3-4 times the price of a supermarket). It's not worth more than 100 euros per night."
