"Surfasana (surf & yoga) is a completely new facility and an outstanding value. The lodge is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful, beautiful setting ideal for relaxation, meditation, and reflection. It has hot water (rare for the area) and air conditioning, and boasts stunning views. The property is only 800 meters (about half a mile) from the nearest beach—not 1,800 meters as sometimes stated. We will definitely return, but the true highlight of our stay was the host, Mauricio. He went above and beyond to make us comfortable, from helping organize a Coiba National Park tour to providing free bikes and expert local advice—especially for surfing. On request, he will also host “pasta nights,” and we had the best prawn and rigatoni dish in a long time for a very reasonable price. A special place made even better by an exceptional host."

"Prachtig klein resort! Kamers zijn zeer proper, interieur is mooi verzorgd. De buitendouche is een unieke touch. Elke kamer heeft een eigen terras met hangmat en een drooglijn. Zwembad is proper, je krijgt er handdoeken en er is een bar met lekkere cocktails. Ontbijt is a la carte, genoeg keuze. Wij hebben er s avonds 1x gegeten en ook dat was lekker en verzorgd. Personeel is heel vriendelijk. Echt een aanrader om hier te verblijven!"

"We visited this lovely hotel 2 weeks ago with a group of 10. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on to the property. The staff is wonderful here including the restaurant. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms are immaculate and we had a well equipped small kitchen that was perfect for breakfast. They will arrange all of your activities and there are many including going to beautiful Coiba. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel and I can’t wait to return!"

"Na een vrij lange rit hier aangekomen en onze ontvangst was echt warm en gastvrij.Een van de leukste plekjes waar ik al ben geweest in de wereld.Zicht op de Pacific en achter je verblijf een rivier waar een krokodil in leeft .Smorgens wordt je gewekt door de vele vogels en zet je zelf lekkere koffie in je eigen veranda.Keuze in ontbijt uit verschillende mogelijkheden.Vzn hieruit kan je naar Coiba de Galapagos van Panama.Niets was de staff teveel en de andere reizigers daar waren allen heel relaxt.Zelfs na het afscheid nog een leuk berichtje gekregen van het hotel echt alles was hier af ...."

"My room was $80 per night and for that price I would certainly hope for better accommodations. The room was extremely small, as well as the bathroom (you can sit in the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time since the sink is in oración your face). To add to the bathroom woes, every morning the shower wouldn’t drain. The kitchenette had no soap, only one fork and no spoon, although the room was for two people. There was never anyone in the office to ask for help. The mattress was horrible and worn out with permanent indentions (body slots). The lighting ****** everywhere. Overall the room reminded me of a jail cell. It certainly wasn’t worth $8o a night and probably no even half that amount. The only positive was the location which is right near “downtown “. But in that same location, there are far better places in town to stay. I’d pass on this one."
