Great stay, hotel was was really premium and fantastic service from the staff Breakfast and room service was high quality Pool, Sauna and gym were all really great and felt luxurious, the pool especially was very relaxing Location is a little far from the centre but quick metro ride close by or hotel was great at organising taxis Would highly recommend!!!

Best 5 star property in Sofia hands down. .The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional. There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead. .The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever. It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice. .The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing .The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up. So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done. Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property. To top it up, we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant after checked out and met Vladislav, who gave us an amazing service from food to drinks. Absolutely perfect. I will definitely come back to stay here next time I am in Sofia and will recommend it to everyone who's coming to Sofia.

The Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays. There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

De kamer was mooi en dicht bij de luchthaven. De keuze aan restaurants was niet enorm, maar ze boden vanaf 3 uur 's ochtends een ontbijt met snacks aan, wat erg handig was tijdens een tussenstop.

Hotel was nice, glad that I’ve found it online, it’s hard to find a good hotel to book online due to tons of negative feedbacks, but this one has a great feedback so I booked it. And it did not disappoint me. Hotel is clean with good fragrance that you can smell the moment that you’ll enter the lobby / reception. Service is great, friendly and accommodating staff. The room is spacious, seems like a 4 star room for me. They serve breakfast, with tons of seats where you can relax after check in while waiting for your next trip or flight. I forgot my bag in their lounge area / lobby before I went to their restaurant to take coffee. Then was in a hurry to go to the car service I booked outside when it was already time to go to the bus station going to Romania. After arriving at the bus station, I noticed that my bag is not in my possession, when I was about to get my other phone. Because I have other luggages to carry and was in hurry. I was worried sick that it will be lost, my bag, glad that it was there. The staff handed it over, they kept it, and nothing was missing. After getting it, I got an email from the booking app where I booked the hotel, telling me that Amar Design Hotel contacted them saying that I left my bag at the hotel. And they were asking for my contact number to reach me, they were to kind to do that right immediately. But I already got the bag. Still thankful and grateful to their staff. I would definitely check in here again when I get back to Sofia, and will recommend it to friends who are traveling here. Thank you. It was a nice stay, and their service made it even great!

Superb location. In the city centre. Historical palace. Modern interior designs of the rooms. Soft & fresh bed sheets/towels. Big rooms. Spotless clean. Great amenities with gym. Delicious with big variations of breakfast. Helpful and great staff. Fast check in & out. Walking distance to all landmarks of the capital. Public transportation is only 1-2 min walk. The only thing that miss were the absence of extra tooth paste and tooth brush. The rest were ok. Highly recommend. Definitely comeback here soon.

We verbleven in dit hotel voor 2 nachten op weg naar Roemenië Pluspunten: het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie. Rustige, groene straat, 500 meter van het centrale bus- en treinstation, ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van de Vitosha-boulevard - de kamer zelf is heel mooi, de tv heeft Engelse zenders, het balkon was een onverwacht pluspunt - het verstrekte ontbijt is voldoende, hoewel u naar een aangrenzend hotel moet gaan - het personeel was vriendelijk en deed hun best om te helpen Nadelen: het bed was niet opgemaakt, ze zorgden voor een eenpersoonsbed voor een queensize bed. Er was slechts één glas voor 2 personen. Het dekbed in de kast was smerig, er zat geen hoes op en we konden het niet gebruiken - de matras heeft geen beschermer en is te zacht. Het past misschien wel bij sommigen, maar het is te zacht voor een hotelmatras - Ik probeerde de receptie te bellen om nog een laken, een schoon dekbed en een glas te vragen. Niemand nam de telefoon op. (De volgende dag kreeg ik te horen dat de telefoon kapot was). Ik ging naar beneden om iemand te zoeken, maar er was niemand of beantwoordde de bel op het bureau. De volgende dag kreeg ik te horen dat de receptioniste twee hotels moest bestrijken, dus hij is er niet altijd. Houd er rekening mee dat als u laat arriveert in het hotel, er mogelijk niemand is om u in te checken Ze zijn ook erg streng wat betreft de inchecktijden. Als u eerder dan 14.00 uur wilt inchecken, dient u hiervoor te betalen Over het algemeen is het hotel redelijk. Best hostel I've ever stayed at, especially at this price, nothing even comes close in Europe. So much privacy, felt like my own hotel room. The design is funky and unique too. Will definitely not forget this stay!

The hotel has a spa and fitness center. Compared to Western European spas in hotels, here you might receive one towel if you ask at the spa reception. Otherwise there are no others on disposal and there is no water dispenser. You have to buy it or bring it with you. The saunas could be more clean, especially the steam sauna, which was very dirty in the evening. To swim in the pool you need to buy a swimming cap. The food at the breakfast was very delicious, compared to other experiences I made in Sofia. It could be maybe different every day, because the only difference was how the potatoes were prepared. In any case, you have a variety of food to eat and you will not be hungry. I was in another Ramada hotel and this one was on a lower level than the one in Bucharest and needs a renovation in the rooms or in the restaurant. The chairs were dirty there.
