Pool, Sauna and gym were all really great and felt luxurious, the pool especially was very relaxing
Location is a little far from the centre but quick metro ride close by or hotel was great at organising taxis

.The room was spacious with contemporary and minimalist design but still very functional. There's even a divider between the bathroom to the rest of the room so it felt like staying in a junior suite instead.
.The facilities were amazing, best indoor pool I've been to ever. It was fitted with all the aqua techs which provide so many massage options. There's also 2 types of saunas, a salt room, a steam room and even a ice tube filled with ice.
.The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing
.The service was so good because I was very frustrated and hangry as the QR code and the TV ordering system didn't work and I called the restaurant repeatedly and no one picked up. So I went down and spoke to Daria, who listened to my concerns and personally took me to the restaurant so that I can order something from the restaurant menu that I really wanted to take back to the room which is not supposed to be done. Diana from In Room Dining even came to deliver the food to my room for me, which actually wasn't her job. I felt looked after and treated like a guest in a 5 star property.
To top it up, we decided to have lunch at the hotel restaurant after checked out and met Vladislav, who gave us an amazing service from food to drinks. Absolutely perfect.
I will definitely come back to stay here next time I am in Sofia and will recommend it to everyone who's coming to Sofia.

GGastgebruikerThe Junior Suite was wonderful, essentially a studio apartment with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, large windows, a private balcony seating area and extensive shelf space. The bathroom was very modern with a very nice tall shower. The beds were very comfortable and the room was large, with a couch. Definitely a great place for both short and long stays.
There were a few small inconveniences in the room, but nothing that affected our stay (water seemed to leak over the door of the shower onto the shower mat; toilet seat was very stiff and loud to open/close; closets were very wide but oddly short to accommodate extra drawers, so too small to hang dresses in full length; the automatic lighting inside the closets did not turn off correctly; and our key card stopped working in the middle of our stay and had to be fixed at the reception). The hotel is very close to a tram stop, so it's easy to get into the city center, and it's also very close to the Cultural Center. It is a bit more of a trek to walk into the city, but still possible in 20 minutes or so. The hotel is located on a small street off the main road and the sidewalk leading up to it is very narrow and in disrepair. You would not guess that the inside of the hotel is so sleek and modern based on the older surrounding area.

KKMSI recently stayed at the Sofia Novotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to unwind after a busy day. The beds were perfect—not too firm and not too soft, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, situated just across the street from a shopping mall, which made it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile.
The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day.
The only downside was the gym, which is quite small and lacks heavy free weights and a pull-up bar. While it’s fine for a basic workout, those looking for a more comprehensive fitness setup might be disappointed.
All in all, Sofia Novotel is a great choice for its location, comfort, and service, but fitness enthusiasts might find the gym facilities limited. I would definitely stay here again!

For one hour, the whole hotel didn’t know how to charge my credit card, as their credit card machine doesn’t follow EU rules for 3D security, thus jeopardising clients’ private data. I wasted a full hour on the phone with my bank, only to find out that the hotel doesn’t follow rules on how to securely handle credit card data. The management kept telling me that it’s my fault, despite the fact I never before have had problems with card payments before.
Breakfast food was decent, with a choice between a couple of set menus.
The hotel was clean, rooms were quiet, and it was situated and in a convenient location, within 3-4 minutes from the nearest metro station.
Some of the photos on their site are dated, as the interior is different now.

Wręcz lodowata jajecznica i jajka sadzone. Fatalna kawa z dodatkiem mleka w proszku. Na parterze casino, które wieczorową porą przyciąga szemrane typy. Bardzo drogi parking 25 euro za dobę.

EEnnovyB3Nadat we de huurauto ingeleverd hadden, zagen we de shuttlebus van het hotel al de parkeerplaats oprijden. Ideaal. In het hotel werden we vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer was modern en schoon. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten en snel gaan slapen. De volgende morgen stond het ontbijtbuffet klaar. Goed gegeten en met de shuttlebus weer naar het vliegveld. Meld dit wel vantevoren . Ideaal om te overnachten na een late aankomst of vroeg vertrek.

Pluspunten: het hotel ligt op een geweldige locatie. Rustige, groene straat, 500 meter van het centrale bus- en treinstation, ongeveer 20 minuten lopen van de Vitosha-boulevard
- de kamer zelf is heel mooi, de tv heeft Engelse zenders, het balkon was een onverwacht pluspunt
- het verstrekte ontbijt is voldoende, hoewel u naar een aangrenzend hotel moet gaan
- het personeel was vriendelijk en deed hun best om te helpen
Nadelen: het bed was niet opgemaakt, ze zorgden voor een eenpersoonsbed voor een queensize bed. Er was slechts één glas voor 2 personen. Het dekbed in de kast was smerig, er zat geen hoes op en we konden het niet gebruiken
- de matras heeft geen beschermer en is te zacht. Het past misschien wel bij sommigen, maar het is te zacht voor een hotelmatras
- Ik probeerde de receptie te bellen om nog een laken, een schoon dekbed en een glas te vragen. Niemand nam de telefoon op. (De volgende dag kreeg ik te horen dat de telefoon kapot was). Ik ging naar beneden om iemand te zoeken, maar er was niemand of beantwoordde de bel op het bureau. De volgende dag kreeg ik te horen dat de receptioniste twee hotels moest bestrijken, dus hij is er niet altijd. Houd er rekening mee dat als u laat arriveert in het hotel, er mogelijk niemand is om u in te checken
Ze zijn ook erg streng wat betreft de inchecktijden. Als u eerder dan 14.00 uur wilt inchecken, dient u hiervoor te betalen
Over het algemeen is het hotel redelijk. Als er iemand bij de receptie was geweest, zouden alle problemen snel zijn opgelost
De voornaamste klacht is de schoonmaak en het onderhoud van de kamers
