Shaoxing Hotel

"The accommodation environment is good, and the service is excellent. I encountered a small issue during my stay, which the housekeeping department handled perfectly. I booked a deluxe twin room, and the front desk upgraded me to a room on the second floor of Building 8, near the elevator. Upon entering, there was a strong odor from the toilet side, but it disappeared after flushing a few times. The room lighting was a bit dim, but the courtyard view was beautiful, and it was quiet at night. On the day of check-out, I even went to the first floor opposite to look at my room from the outside and noticed that the windows were tinted, providing excellent privacy, which was reassuring. The breakfast selection was decent, and the taste was standard. I particularly enjoyed the fried noodles and preserved vegetable biscuits. One suggestion: I hope there can be labels for the three sauces in the salad bar, indicating their names. It was quite a long walk from Shaoxing North Station by subway. I'd recommend taking a taxi directly from the high-speed rail station to the hotel lobby instead. Check-in was very smooth, and overall, I'm satisfied. I hope to have the chance to stay at Shaoxing Hotel again when I visit Shaoxing in the future."

"Allereerst moet dit de beste locatie zijn, want het zit aan de rand van het oude schaokingsgebied, dus in een minuut wandelden we langs de kanalen en door de oude huizen en eetplaatsen. Het is belangrijk dat de taxi u buiten kan gooien, in tegenstelling tot de andere huisvesting die u nodig heeft om uw zakken naar de smalle straten te trekken. Veel geluk met dat als u niet weet het gebied. Onze kamer was geweldig voor een familie van vier, en de voorzieningen waren uitstekende. Onze gastheer hield ons elke dag geschenken en was zo vriendelijk voor ons en onze kinderen. Dit is de beste plek om te blijven voor oude Shaoxing, in mijn mening."

"This stay was fantastic, I have to give it a huge thumbs up! - Location: The hotel is very easy to find, conveniently located, very close to the subway station, and there are plenty of options for dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. - Service: The front desk staff (specifically, the lady) had a superb attitude. Check-in was quick, and she thoughtfully explained the breakfast times and facilities. The housekeeping staff also cleaned the room promptly."

"De geluidsisolatie was verschrikkelijk! Het matras was ongelooflijk hard, totaal anders dan in de hotels waar ik eerder heb verbleven. Ik had dit hotel geboekt voor een zakenreis omdat het op het Ji Hotel leek en goedkoop was! Ik had al moeite met slapen en het lawaai buiten was zo hard dat ik rond 5 uur 's ochtends wakker werd om naar de wc te gaan en niet meer in slaap kon komen! Het was een zeer oncomfortabele nachtrust. De hygiëne liet ook te wensen over; er lag een laag stof op de tafel waar ik mijn tassen neerzette, die ik met mijn hand kon wegvegen. En waarom had deze viersterrenkamer geen koelkast? De volgende keer boek ik zeker weer het Ji Hotel. Er waren maar twee flessen water! De ruimte tussen de twee eenpersoonsbedden was veel te klein! Ik ben benieuwd hoe de andere tweepersoonskamers eruitzien... De lobby was wel vrij ruim."

"I was initially sceptical when I read over 5,000 positive reviews on this hotel, as many of them had been upgraded. However, we truly had a great time. The facility is amazing, and we stayed in building 8, which is closed to the dining area. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. The dinner buffet costs RMB 138 on weekdays and 158 on weekends. The food was great, and there was a lot of seafood to choose from. The hotel is quite close to tourist attractions, but be aware that taxis can be quite expensive. They can cost RMB 50 or more compared to the DIDI taxi . So, it’s best to order a taxi via DIDI or online rather than catching one on the street or in front of the hotel. One place you must visit is Xu Shui Ancient City, which is the most well-documented museum in Shaoxing. It’s a walking distance away and free to visit.  All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We extended three nights more , and will definitely stay this hotel in the future."

"De slaapkamer is zeer schoon en mooi vooral voor degenen die de negatieve ionenfamilie kamer boeken, het is een winst! Ze hebben een zeer ruime kamer met een bank en een badkamer! Hun ontbijt was leuk, maar minder in de verscheidenheid, voor mensen die verschillende soorten eten willen, zou ik je aanbevelen om te eten in een dichtbij restaurant, ze serveren alleen Chinese-stijl ontbijt, maar het is niet een probleem voor mij, want ik ben een Chinees zelf."
