De service is bijzonder geweldig, indrukwekkend! Een gezinsreis om een paar dagen te ontspannen. (Het hotel biedt Shankline China tickets, check in na ontvangst, geen tickets voorhanden kopen.)"

"Het is een super tevreden hotel, er zijn veel plaatselijke ouderen in Groot-Brittannië. De kamer is iets oud en de trap is zeer dun zonder lift, de trekker is een beetje onaangenaam, maar als de kast is geleegd om op White Island te wonen, is het niet aan de hand. Het receptiebord is vriendelijk en ontspannen, en het is belangrijk om op het eiland te rusten en te ontspannen. Het verrassend genoeg is het Britse hele maaltijd, en het eten van de snoep kan de meeste halve dag lopen."

"You might have an idea of what to expect from a hotel stay: to be greeted at the front desk, to have a bar and a breakfast service on the premises, to stay in a room which is serviced with fresh towels and clean linen... There's none of that here. We stayed for a week and some days saw no staff (there's a webcam in reception). There were tea and coffee making facilities in our room when we arrived but this was never replenished, the towels were never changed, the bed was never changed; the curtain was hanging off the rail; the bar downstairs was never opened. The website claims that breakfast can be booked for £10 per person but good luck finding anyone to book it with. There are a number of very pleasant hotels along Queens Road but sadly this isn't one of them."

De gasten zijn zeer welkom. We hadden een zeer leuke tijd en zou weer blijven."

"We hebben onlangs bij Snowdon gebleven met Sally en Mike en ik doe gewoonlijk geen beoordelingen, maar dit is een uitzonderlijke plek om te blijven. Wonderful breakfasts en ons kamer was spotless. We zouden hier zeker weer blijven als we Shanklin bezoeken en we hebben geen twijfel om het aan anderen te adviseren. Bedankt voor het zo goed op ons zoeken en hopen dat je binnenkort weer terugkomt!"

"Lovely hotel, friendly staff, perfectly situated close to the beach and the Old Village. A small amount of free parking on site. Very impressed with the facilities inside the hotel - including indoor swimming pool, hot tub & sauna. Be careful with your choice of room, by selecting a non-sea view, standard room for 2 x people we were allocated an accessible room right next to reception/main entrance on ground floor, which was really noisy, with very little privacy. Such a shame as the rest of our experience there was so good."

"A Lovely Stay with Wonderful Staff We recently stayed at this B&B in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, and overall had a lovely stay. The staff were absolutely amazing, so welcoming, friendly and helpful, which really made a difference to our experience. The gardens outside were beautiful, and the downstairs decor was lovely, creating a really pleasant atmosphere. There were, however, a few areas where we felt improvements could be made. The bedrooms could benefit from a little updating, and we were disappointed that the bar closed at 5pm. We understand this is due to staffing costs, but it would have been nice to enjoy a drink in the evening. Although the B&B is rated as 4-star accommodation, we personally felt that the rooms and facilities were more in keeping with a 3-star rating. We don’t want to take away from the hard work of the wonderful staff, who really were a credit to the establishment. With a little investment in the bedrooms and some additional evening facilities, this could be an even better place to stay. Thank you for making us feel so welcome."

The hotel staff were very ,very helpful with 1st aid kits and ensured we had all that was needed. When we left,Selma escorted us to our car and added, when we return, we will be credited with our overpayment,which was extremely thoughtful, as we were not expecting that.
